Ordered online at 9:30 pm, when we arrived there was no one there to help us. Finally someone came and asked if we wanted a table, pretty weird as there was a full on karaoke party going on. We told them we ordered online, they went back to get food we assumed. We sat and waited 10 minutes until they finally bring it out. Get all the way home just to find out we are missing part of our order, a full burrito dinner ($13.99). Absolutely unacceptable, save your time and money avoid this establishment at all costs. Also the chips are stale. This place sucks

We were greeted right away even though she was busy with another table. Our waitress was the only one working at lunch and handled the 4 other tables just fine.

Yo pedí la paella, y cada bocado estaba lleno de sabor, con mariscos perfectamente cocinados y un arroz impregnado con el sazón ideal. Mi esposa ordenó los langostinos, y no hay otra forma de describirlos más que como una delicia total: jugosos, bien sazonados y con un toque original que los hace destacar. La calidad de los platillos es impecable, y se nota el esmero en cada detalle.

El ambiente es otro gran acierto. Con una atención amable y rápida. Pero lo que realmente hizo que la noche fuera especial fue la música en vivo. Una cantante, cuyo nombre no tuve la oportunidad de conocer, nos deleitó con una voz encantadora, suave y perfecta para el ambiente. Su interpretación le dio un toque mágico a la velada, haciendo que la cena fuera aún más memorable.

Los precios son bastante razonables para la calidad que ofrecen, lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún mejor. Si eres amante de los mariscos y buscas un lugar con un gran ambiente y un sazón inigualable, Hacienda Chivolin es una visita obligada. ¡100% recomendado!

Even though it is a large open space, the low ceilings and warm colors make it feel cozy.

The service was excellent. We had a new server who was initially very nervous, but became more comfortable as the evening progressed. She didn't speak much English but managed well. When she hit a rough spot she got assistance. Very sweet. Very kind.

The food was delicious. In our group we had: Burrito Dinner, Chicken Enchilada Dinner x 2 - one red sauce, one green, Fajitas (forgot which kind), Guacamole, and one of the Whole Tilapia dinners that came with shrimp. I had the enchilada dinner with red sauce and a Steak Burrito on the side. HA! The burrito is massive. Of course I filled up on chips and some of the guac, so I ate half the burrito and a third of the enchilada plate. Had the rest for lunch yesterday. Everything I had was just delicious and the meats were all very tender. The guacamole was whipped very smooth and made fresh. The person who ordered it said "it's missing something" but I did not find that to be true. The chips that were served with it were a little soft. It was a little weird, still tasted good, but maybe not fried quite long enough? The only issue was the person who ordered the tilapia didn't get what she expected. It was apparently one of the two (maybe 3) tilapia items that didn't explicitly say "fried." So what she received was not what she was expecting. She didn't complain, nor send it back, but it threw off her meal. It came with a LOT of shrimp, and she had also ordered a soup which came with shrimp, plus the rice and salad, so she far from went hungry. Just be aware it is deep fried tilapia, not pan fried.

I would certainly go back.

I did include photos of their extensive menu as the only other ones I could find were on an online order website. Not descriptive at all.

I do not recommend this place. We were a party of seven yesterday and two plates of the food. The meat was spoiled. This place is way overpriced. They have no rail drinks. And the drinks they do have start at $12 and are made very weak. I asked for paper towel for the women’s bathroom twice not sure if they ever got any in there either. I drove over an hour to go here but never again and then to top it off they added a $47 gratuity to our bill.🤬🤬🤬

Where do I begin...The food was flavorless. I ordered guacamole for an appetizer. It was basically a bowl of onions and cilantro for $8. Large seating area, but I guess too big to be able to heat it up. I had to wear my coat while eating my flavorless food. The salsa for the chips was half frozen. Our waiter stood having a conversation with friends instead of asking how things were. I definitely won't be returning.

Don't go here if you don't speak spanish. Our waitress did not speak any English. We were the only six people in the restaurant. We came for lunch, for our food that was then lukewarm. Our waitress did not get my food or drink order right because she didn'tspeak english. I ordered the steak fajitas, which normally come on a sizzling hot plate. My cast iron skillet was barely warm, and the steak was so grizzly and sitting in a pile of grease. The other orders were also barely warm. Again, we were the only customers. Our waitress spent the whole time in the kitchen. Another person finally came out to ask how our order was, and that was it.

To start with, the food was good. So there's that. But everything else-- I'm only giving 3 stars.

Menu: The menu is over the top. An absolutely ridiciulous amount of choices; several of which are just stupidly expensive. Many of the menu items don't have a detailed description of what the item is, exactly, for example half of the shrimp dishes. No clue. Overall for a mexican restaurant, the entire menu is in my opinion a bit pricy. (including that any extra chips/salsa incurs a $4 charge... seriously?)

Decor: It appears to me that apart from painting the ceiling beams orange and replacing the tables&chairs, not much else has been done. There's a half dozen huge televisions going, and a little-bit-too-loud mexican music blaring from the huge speakers in the corner. So... is this place.. a sports bar? A casual restaurant? A fancy dining room? (see the old Carls glass chandeliers....). To me, the decor is basically thrown together without much thought at all. Those ugly stone walls should have been changed, and I reallly could do without the loud annoying music.

Service: There was hardly anyone here the night we were there (see photos), yet we barely saw our waitress. When we were ready to leave, we asked for boxes. That took TEN MINUTES. No clue what she was spending the rest of her time doing.

As I said... yes, the food was good. But between the ovepriced/overwhelming menu and the poor service, I doubt that we'll return.
