I would NOT recommend this place. I’m sorry but it was bad. The beans seemed old and the food was not good.

I'm a seasoned Mexican food lover & will admit, most Mexican restaurants are the same as the others. But this one is NOT. This place has some of the best food I've ever tried. Their homemade chorizo is fantastic. Their salsa is warm & excellente. Give it a try

We came at and odd time so maybe that was the issue. But we were one of two tables in there. Srvices was very slow considering the places was dead. The carne asda was not seasoned very well, and worst of all the margaritas tasted like a remixed margarita.

Never again first off the two ladies seemed stuck up and snobby and seemed irritated we were there had to ask for silverware my mom’s chicken burrito had a bone in it the salsa was warm my mom burnt her tongue on it. We were going to leave a tip but they said they have to take the tip out since there was 5 of us or 6 of us if you count my baby. My mom asked for a blueberry margarita took for ever to make and you didn’t taste blueberry it was mostly alcohol and the counter In front of the window when you walk in was a sharp knife that’s not safe a kid could of got ahold of it. Didn’t feel welcomed and for the mixed fajita you should get more food for that price I know you do in Iowa

The tacos are authentic if you ask for Cilantro and onion only on them. The chicken is tender, seasoned perfectly, and the appropriate seasoning. Salsa is great, even though it's warm. I finally found tacos I will be returning for. Muchas gracias!

Had a fabulous lunch at Hacienda San Miguel with friends today. It was our first time there. The dining room is rustic and adorned with incredible hand painted murals that depict the love and passion of the Mexican Caballeros.
Started with an assortment of hand crafted margaritas for the table. I had the pomegranate. Very refreshing with the right amount of tequila. Then we went on to the food.
We had a large group and the kitchen did a 5 course tasting meal for us. Started with fresh made chips and guacamole, salsas, and jalapeño queso blanco. All were delicious. Next was a traditional coctel de camarone. It reminded me of being back in Puerta Vallarta. The shrimp was fresh and the salsa was vibrant and flavorful.
Chicken Mole followed. The Mole sauce had a subtle sweetness and complex spice over perfectly cooked rotisserie chicken. Then beef fajitas with tri-color peppers and onions which was tender and delicious served with corn tortillas and guacamole.
The last of the main dishes was a house specialty - quesabirrias. Shredded beef, with melted cheese, cilantro, and onion served in a grilled tortilla dipped in ibirrias style broth. This was a favorite of the group and even ordered extra to take home.
We finished up with Tres Leches cake. Can’t leave without something sweet. It was moist and delicious as I expected it would be.
5 stars all around for Hacienda San Miguel! Can’t wait to go back.

Went here on a whim with a friend and was so happy to stumble upon this gem of a restaurant. Great service, awesome atmosphere if you love beautiful murals you will absolutely love the design. The food was delicious and the margaritas were perfection. We will definitely be coming back!

Seeing good reviews, we tried the Enchilada Mole and Steak Tacos. Both were pretty good, but the atmosphere was lacking a warm friendly vibe. The warm salsa and chips were a nice touch.

Without a doubt the best Mexican restaurant in Beloit, if not the state line area. We stopped for the first time during the biggest snowstorm of the year, they were beyond welcoming and wouldn’t let us take our food to go. The restaurant was meticulously clean and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The food was a 10/10! Warm salsa( which we had never had.) was amazing! Burrito was HUGE! And the American style steak tacos were 🔥🔥10/10! This is going to be our new go to. We also learned they have karaoke and music on the weekends. Let’s support this hidden gem

Just found this place! The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. The murals on the wall are absolutely stunning. We were told they were recently painted by an artist originally from Mexico. My friends and I both chose the quesabirria lunch special. It was so delicious! The salsa was house made and served warmed. That was new for me but it was excellent as well! The special came with a bowl of chicken tortilla soup, which had huge pieces of chicken breast, vecorn, beans, and strips of tortillas still crispy. And for drinks, my friend had the pomegranate margarita and I had the cantarito. 😋
Highly recommend ALL of the above. The service was fast and extremely considerate. And the prices of the specials are really good deals. Taco Tuesday - 5 tacos for $10 - I'm looking at you! I'll be back!

My husband and I recently discovered the little jewel tucked between the Pig and Dulce Vida, and now we are hooked! Their food is not only authentic, but it is skillfully prepared from scratch. They take no shortcuts here.
Enjoy a hot cup of Chicken Tortilla Soup, while the chef prepares your meal.
The array of homemade salsas are nothing short of amazing!
Daily specials and super affordable prices. The staff is warm and friendly.
I just can't say enough good things about Hacienda San Miguel! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at the Hacienda San Miguel. The moment we walked in the door we were welcomed. Our waiter made certain that we were seated in a comfortable spot that met our needs. He was solicitors throughout. The food was excellent and very Authentic. The only minor quibble was that the music was loud, but the waiter turned it down upon request. The ice cream parlor next-door was also Fantastic. Would recommend without reservations.

This place was absolutely phenomenal! I unfortunately do not remember the name of the wonderful woman who served me and my family, but she was an amazing hostess.
The food is very flavorful and balanced. The warmth of the spice complimented the flavor of the food without compromising the overall taste of it.
The service was the best we have ever had anywhere in terms of a traditional family dine-in experience. She kept checking on us regularly, and she offered us a sample of the tortilla soup, and following that, after we paid, she still continued to check on us drink wise until we were ready to leave! (You rarely have servers checking in on you after you've already paid and tipped)
The atmosphere was great. It was air-conditioned, very professional, with great music, and overall vibes. (And as I was dancing to the music, our server joined in and was also singing along)
Price wise, this place is a tad on the more expensive side, but it is definitely worth it!
Overall, this place is a 10/10 in my book, and I will definitely be coming back here with my family again, as well as reccomending this place to others!
I've also attached some pictures from our experience.
Enchiladas, Burrito Mexico, Steak Torta, and some chips with salsa.

Never saw this restaurant until tonight when I was driving by. Decided to stop in and see what it was like. Quite a lot of seating but only other customers was a family of 4. Seated right away with clean menus which had a very good selection of meals and options. Separate drink menu of alcoholic drinks and beer. Chips and warmed salsa served right away. Ordered al pastor tacos with cilantro and onion. Forgot to choose flour tortillas (vs. corn tortillas) as did the waitress. For only having one other set of customers in the restaurant (who had already been served), it took a relatively long time to receive the meal. 3 very full tacos as ordered. The pork was not shredded - it was ground up. Meal was very good; came with a green and a red salsa for the tacos along with 4 lime wedges. Could only finish 2 tacos. Brought home the 3rd taco along with a slice of tres leches cake.
The check finally arrived. $12.99 for the tacos (no Mexican rice or refried beans), $3.10 for Pepsi (free refills), and $6.20 for the cake. Next time (because I will go back) will just be the main course and water. Check had a cash price and a credit price based on payment. I was already going to pay with cash anyway and will remember that for next time too. However, the waitress disappeared for 30 minutes when all I wanted to do was pay. Finally found another employee to take my payment.
Interior decorating, floors, and walls were all very tasteful and appropriate. Not overdone or garish - I really liked it! All of the furniture was brand new too (not repurposed). Different types of seating too - booths, pub/bar height chairs, group tables, etc. Either electronic game or slot machines were located on the bar side of the restaurant.
Waitress said they've been open for 4 months. I may not drive by this area everyday but it's not been 4 months. They should really do more advertising especially when on a Saturday evening, there were only 2 customers in the place. I'd like to see them stay because I will want to return for more tacos, and to try out quesadillas or one of their other dishes. Thank you.
