Waited 40 min for a 30 min wait (with children) and the “kitchen was overwhelmed” so they closed the kitchen 5 min after we put in for a table. We learned this after asking about our table 40 min later. No one walked the 20 feet to tell us that they weren’t serving food. She proceeded to tell us that she could seat us but it will take over an hr for food because the kitchen “might” reopen in 15 min. When the manager came she said “we will take you off the wait list…goodbye”. Skip the hassle, go to Fox harbor. Better food, better service and better atmosphere .

Full disclosure: Karen rant coming. With all the great meals I've had here - I truly disappointed by how my daughter and her friends were treated, when trying to make a Homecoming dinner reservation. During the first attempt to schedule, my daughter was told the restaurant could accommodate her group so long as they would be willing to sit at two separate tables. When she checks with her friends and calls back, she's told the restaurant is full....even though she WAS able to make that exact reservation online? Over speaker phone, my daughter called to confirm that the two-table reservation was valid - only to be told by the individual who answered, that it WAS possible to reserve a table for the entire group at a single table. Daughter is placed on hold until another staff member picks up the call - and says that the restaurant is completely full and there is no room for any reservations....because of the Packer game - EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE BYE WEEK. I get that the staff probably doesn't prefer a large group of high school students, during a peak weekend dinner hour. Can also understand if there is a policy around minors dining, and the staff would have just stated as much. Instead, I just heard a staff member judge an entire group of kids and turn them away. Just extremely disappointing, seeing as the restaurant was recommended by parents who are business lunch/dinner regulars.

We recently visited Hagemeister Park, and the setting could not have been more beautiful. Located along the Fox River in historic downtown, the restaurant sits perfectly between two drawbridges, offering stunning views. The outdoor patio is a highlight, with cozy firepits and heaters that make it enjoyable even on cooler nights.

The food was attractively plated, and the steak easily stole the show. Perfectly tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right—it was one of those meals you remember. The Brussels sprouts were another win, cooked just right (though a little more glaze would have made them even better). On the flip side, the broccoli lacked any real flavor, and the garlic asparagus didn’t leave much of an impression.

Where the experience fell short was the service. While polite, it felt average at best. The staff didn’t seem very familiar with the menu, and when asked about dishes, the answers weren’t very helpful. It didn’t ruin the evening, but it definitely stood out compared to the otherwise great atmosphere.

All in all, Hagemeister Park is worth visiting for the views, the vibe, and especially that unforgettable steak. With some improvements in service and consistency on the sides, it could be a truly outstanding dining experience.

I love trying new places to eat and hate leaving bad reviews. This was my first time here and I can’t say I’ll ever go back.

I ordered a garlic parmesan steak medium and it came out rare and it was too tough to even eat. Lots of fat and sinew. Very disappointed for $38.

After dropping the food our server never came back so by the time I flagged her down to point out the problem everyone else had finished eating. So by that point I didn’t want to wait for another steak because my party was ready to leave.

The server was nice and apologized and the item was removed from my bill.

Finally there was a random 3% “restaurant fee” on the bill. It wasn’t a credit card fee just a fee to sit and eat? It bothered me to see it at the end of a bad experience.

The outdoor area was a neat place to eat but the service seemed better inside.

This place is extremely over rated. Ive been here 3 times and each time I've been disappointed besides their outdoor seating area which is right on the boardwalk walk giving then the 2 stars i gave them. The food is way too overpriced for being so mediocre. Ive had the wings, a wrap the fries and the friday fish special. Im sure their might be other more desired food there I haven't tried but everything I had was nothing special. In fact the fries were almost cold like and had a microwave unfrozen kind of plain taste. The service was terrible. I never had to leave anywhere a bad tip in my life. A no tip may have helped then more then anything. Maybe they would open their eyes and pay attention more next time now. I wasn't sure who my server was as multiple different ones were here and there. We told 3 different people it was a split bill then still got it together and had to get it fixed. They are running around with their heads cut off in there but cant get anything right. Slow down focus on what you are doing one customer at a time. Friend Ordered extra Cole slaw and they gave it to me and added it on my bill after we had to separate it. I just accepted it because I was so done with their mistakes at this point. I would ask for bill then they would dissappear then someone else would come 5-10 min later so I asked them for the bill then they go do it then the other guy came back to get the bill. My friend left a tip on the table and a bartender, waitress or cook whatever they he'll they were took it?? Never even did anything for us besides grabbed 1 drink earlier. Like my godd. They had 4 bartenders and maybe 20 people in there with waitresses all over the place. Ive been at places with 1 bartender and 20 people with better service.

Great friendly staff, I had the elk burger. It had smoked gouda and a garlic aioli with some greens and tomato too. My mom had the BLT supreme, basically a BLT on steroids 😂. And her coworker we were with had the buffalo chicken wrap.
The outside seating is beautiful. If the weather permits, you're right on the water and you can watch boats come in and out.
They also have indoor seating and bar seating.
If you are in the Green Bay area, I highly recommend this place if you can find some parking. I've heard that it's more busy later in the day.

We make it a tradition every time we come back to Green Bay, to go to Hagemeister Park! I got the Cheese Tortellini Carbonara with Chicken, and it was incredible! The bread roll that came with it was also super super good- I wish I got more of those!! My girlfriend got the pretzel, which she loves, and my friends got the Pork Mac Burger, and the CBLT without tomatoes, and they super enjoyed their meals!! My friend gets the Pork Mac burger every time she comes- never disappoints!! We also are OBSESSED with the pink starburst drink (not pictured). Tastes exactly like a pink starburst! Our server was so awesome, and overall, everything about our visit was fantastic. Thanks for a great meal experience, Hagemeister!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I set for more than 15 minutes to be serviced on a Thursday afternoon. I was the only brown person there & I watched as the waitresses looked over at me & ignored me. Finally I got up & spoke with a manager that really didn’t seem to care. I’m happy I didn’t eat there they would have probably did something to my food. I uploaded the video to my YouTube channel. Two of our meals came out late, one due to the seagulls who took it right off the tray when the waitress brought out the food. The seagulls were so annoying that we couldn't enjoy our meal in peace. Strange being on the outlet to Lake Michigan and they only serve Canadian Walleye on Fridays??? Odd indeed. So Ordered an (Not sure how the cook accomplished this type of food wizardry) overcooked cap with an undercooked eye. Not sure if I can do the same... Nonetheless, the asparagus was nothing to write home about as they were not crispy or flavorful but the mashed potatoes were real gold and all topped on onion rings that came from a bag of greenbean casserole onion topper. Next ordered the hockey puck of a Lava Cake that was both chalky and dry, so why bother. As far as sevice was next to top notch and deserve more than the food and desert have to offer. Final kicker not Military/ Veteran supporting like many other locations are with better food and deserts. So why 3 stars? Police presence allowed me to relaxed and take in the atmosphere, along with assistance from parking enforcement. Hats off to you folks and thank you for your service. Otherwise, an easy 2 star review from this 2 Maj Conflict Vet.

Went with a group of 17. Staff seemed like they couldn't handle it. The inside was empty, except maybe 3 tables. Outside area was fairly busy. Food was subpar for the price. I was in the bathroom with a couple others when drink orders were taken. When we got to the table the waitress took the other people's orders and walked away. When she came back almost q0 minutes later, I asked if I could get a drink. I recieved incorrect order. Waitress never came around to ask how are food was. When I informed her after everyone was done eating, she walked away not saying anything. She came back over 5 minutes later and said, next time let us know and we can replace it and wasn't very nice about it. Others complained of steak not being cooked correctly and chewy. I would not eat here again.

Service and server were the best part of experience but still could have been better. Kitchen really dropped the ball! I ordered an Elk burger I was given some sort of chicken sandwich 1st, then they replaced it with a turkey burger 2nd, I waited an extra 25mins for my Elk burger. I thought maybe I would have received a discount on my almost 100$ bill for my wait and the fact I was given 2 wrong meals before my own but not nothing offered. In fact I was actually charged for sauces and sides I didn’t order and specifically said no to! I guess here the servers and kitchen just give you and charge you for whatever they want. Food was bland with no flavor and I could have cooked it much better on my own grill.

We were really excited to try Hagemeister Park, my husband and I stopped for a late lunch, I ordered the steak salad and my husband ordered the wagyu burger. The only thing that was good on my salad was the steak. The bacon had an off cardboard taste to it, almost like it was freezer burnt. I also received no dressing. The only thing I ate was the steak. My husbands burger was okay. The meat itself was good but he asked for regular frys and he got sweet potato frys. The staff only came to the table once, I am sad to put this review because the atmosphere was very nice. I won’t be back. There are better places in Green Bay that are priced appropriately and better serve you.

We've all seen the pictures, so I'm here to talk about the staff. I hosted a retirement party on the 31st of January. I cannot say anything but wonderful and amazing things about the staff. The tables were ready for 30 people, they allowed us to decorate, the hostess helped find extra tables for the cake etc, our servers were beyond attentive, the bartender was amazing, Corey added in an igloo at no extra charge, - and the igloo gal was so amazing. I wish I could remember the names to give proper credit. All I can say is if you're looking for a place to host this is it. Individual bills were no trouble for the tasty meals. Dinner was on time without any extra effort. All of the staff truly took care of us. The party was a hit!

Me and my wife found out that our son has been going in here and being served alcohol and he is under age. He was in there this past Saturday night, and we found out about it. Not only had they been serving him for hours, but he was obviously drunk. My parents owned a bar in Green Bay for 35 years, and we wanted to let the management know so they can correct this issue. My wife called on Sunday to just let them know that this has been going on, and the manager acted like he didn't care and was verbally rude to my wife and was irritated with her for calling. When my wife explained that it was better us calling then the police, he said the police couldn't do anything. They are obviously fine with serving minors.

Amazing Experience at Hagemeister Park!

If you’re looking for a place that offers incredible food, drinks, and atmosphere, Hagemeister Park is a must-visit! It’s a charming German restaurant and brewery with so much to offer.

We visited on a Monday and had their special Wagyu Burger with aioli sauce—absolutely fantastic! We also tried the French Onion Soup, which was rich and flavorful. The food was top-notch, and the beer selection was impressive, with something for every taste.

The design of the place is both cozy and stylish, with great music adding to the vibe. Sydney, our server, was exceptional! She was friendly, attentive, and polite—an absolute joy to interact with.

Outside, there’s a wonderful area with Christmas lights and igloos that are perfect for small parties (minimum spend is $100 per party for groups of 12). There’s also a large hall available for bigger events and games machines for some added fun.

The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and great pricing makes Hagemeister Park an absolute gem. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Admittedly this was not my choice for the night. So I went down the road and thankfully their kitchen was still open at 7:30 PM. I had no issue getting a table but it took a bit for me to have someone come to my table. In their defense there was one server for about seven tables so they were spread way too thin. But I made my order (this place has my biggest ICK of a restaurant with no physical menus) but I got the Monday special of a burger and it was fine. Fell more in line with a char broil than a good grill. But had decent taste. Thinking about it I was not asked how I would like my burger done. But it was fine for what I was expecting. The place is a standard brewery so just know it’s dark and loud.

I rented the igloo tonight. The heater went out, our waitress forgot about us or just took an extra long time… our dip was just about frozen. We didn’t have silverware to serve ur food. Things looked very cheap for the price they charged for the igloo. I rented this for my husband and I’m very disappointed with the overall service and appearance of everything. I WOULD HIGHLY ***NOT*** RECOMMEND THIS FOR A DATE OR ANYTHING. And the waitress came into the igloo and stuck a pen cap inside of the heater so that it would stay on. That alone had me frantic that I was going to go up in flames because the heater was set at an angle and was not flat on the ground. HUGE FIRE HAZARD.. I don’t complain much but if I could get e refund once I seen everything I definitely would have done so….

Visited this past Saturday 12/14/24 and the food was great! Very clean restaurant with a festive and friendly atmosphere.

Only complaint would be that our server would not accommodate when my friend asked if the tuna could be cooked a little longer than normal on the Poke bowl. He said if they 'did that for one person they would have to do it for all', but he would ask. He said the chef said no. Seemed weird since steaks and other meats can be cooked to the customer's liking. She changed her order.

We reserved an igloo and a lot of aspects of it didn’t make any sense.

1: we were told to show up early (15 minutes per the email). We came 10 minutes early and they asked us to either wait until our exact reservation time or go in early and leave 10 minutes early. They came in to end the reservation 11 minutes early. They literally counted the minutes lol. Very bizarre.
2: you can’t order food or drinks from the igloo? Guys, set up a QR code at the table where I can place an order from the menu. It’s cumbersome that you have to order ahead of time and have such a limited menu.
3: there was trash from the previous party when we got in there and not enough cups for our reservation.
4: the garnishes that were supposed to come with our drinks weren’t there.
5: the music. Lots of downer songs, but they did let us request 2 songs, which was nice.
6: it was really expensive for what you get. Wouldn’t recommend unless you get more than this for the price. $163 got us exactly 85 minutes in the igloo and some hot Apple cider
7: it was super cold in there (37 °f). I’ve done other igloos and this was much colder.

Conclusion: it’s a little too expensive and cumbersome that you have to reserve everything in advance. Was expecting a little higher class for how much preparation went into reserving/ordering, but it just missed the mark.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner here. The location was perfect and allowed our guests to stay downtime all night if they wished. The service was phenomenal - like for real; I think my drink was refilled 5 times. The food was great - we ended up doing a nacho/fajita bar. Big shoutout to chef Christian. My order was not flagged as gluten free on accident as I had ordered through a 3rd party food delivery app. I have celiac and will have severe symptoms if I ingest any so when I opened my box I was rather upset. After calling a couple times I was able to speak with chef Christian who was able to walk me through their gluten free process in the kitchen, different colored cutting boards, changing gloves, and a dedicated gluten free fryer. He went above and beyond and had my food remade and delivered to my workplace at no extra cost. He was incredibly helpful and I will be a customer for life!

We go in on a Wednesday afternoon, pretty slow, get it. Greeted immediately and very friendly which was nice. Seated and we sat for probably 5 minutes with no menus. Finally another employee said something to the effect of that they don’t have actual menus to use a QR code. So look to the table or placemats and the QR codes are all faded. Tried to get the code and had no luck. My friend did, tried to text me (which I got like 2 hours later, literally). Ridiculous. Waitress finally came back and I simply ordered the same as my friend. Total joke. No more real menus to look at? What if I for some reason did not have my phone? And by the way food was ok. It did come out quickly but by then I was so irritated that I didn’t care anymore. No old fashioned service at all. Not impressed at all. It was pretty dead and I felt like they could have given two shits if we were there or not. I’m probably too old at 60 for this type place.

Whenever we are up in Green Bay we visit for lunch or dinner. Love visiting in summer when we can eat outside and often there is a band. I've never had to weight for a table. They are prompt and service is good. Sometimes out on the patio service seems a bit slower, but we are there to talk and listen to the band as well. I have no doubt if you told your server you were in a hurry they wouldn't speed it up. There are good burger options that are dressed up, as well as other sandwiches. I've also had great dinners here as well. Right now I'm on a bit of a bruschetta kick, so I got the bruschetta appetizer for myself. My picky 10 year old enjoyed his burger from the kids menu.

Had the peach and cantaloupe gazpacho and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! Great on a hot summer day! The bourbon barrel tart cherry wheat beer is also delicious and I highly recommend! Great atmosphere and perfect location for an enjoyable walk along the fox river! Thank you!!

Had lunch with a group of 5. First ones at the restaurant when it opened, so, ALL the tables were available. Asked to sit closest to the water (outside patio). All tables were set up for 4. Asked if we could move two tables together, OR add a 5th chair to one of the tables. Was told that they couldn't/wouldn't accommodate our request. We asked to talk to the manager. Was told that the manager would say the same. Why couldn't they accommodate if we were the ONLY ones there?! Good food. Not so good service!

We were there on July 4th. The staff was outstanding. The bartenders, waitstaff and the support staff were constantly cleaning things, emptying trash cans. Even saw a bartender crawl under the bar to assist a women with tying her shoe. Our dinner was awesome and service was amazing fast even with as busy as they were. Kudos to all!

Me and my friend stopped here for a nice lunch, and it truly did not disappoint. The staff we interacted with were great, and we had a 3-5 minute wait. The food was lovely, along with how our meal (which was for two people) was approximately $30. I would recommend going there, as it was a highlight of my day.

We get there and are told there is a 45 minute wait. We decided to wait and have a drink. 25 minutes later I receive a text telling me that we need to report to the hostess because we are up next. I report to the hostess and she is very confused as to how I received a text. She told me to ignore it and she would text me when our table was really ready. We eventually get seated. We start to order food. Our waitress (first initial N) has no idea what things are on the menu as I ask what "Alabama sauce" is. She give me a look of I" I have no idea" and tells me she is new and doesn't know but she could find out if I wanted her to (with a little giggle). We finish the order and finally get our food. I understand being a new employee, but you served my daughter chicken strips that were dark brown! Being new doesn't mean you don't know when food is not prepared correctly. YOU DO NOT SERVE IT! My wife was also served a salad. It would have been very nice if our new waitress understood that people need utensils to eat. Instead we got up and got our own. And when she asked if we wanted another beverage , it was very strange to see that the two drinks we did order came out 5 minutes apart since they were both from the bar. We spent over $200 !!!

Everything was perfect. Wait staff was attentive. The food was very good. My husband had the NY strip Flatbread Pizza and I had the chicken pecan cranberry salad with raspberry vinaigrette. For an appetizer we had chips with vadillia onion dip. Within walking distance to Meyer Theater if you want to get dinner before a concert.

The bartender, Jess was very hands on and knowledgeable with her craft! The manager on duty, Max introduced me to my new favorite beer, perky porter, and recommended the steakhouse salad, which was delicious!

Nice place to stop for a beer, and well we didn't eat It appeared there was a lot of good food going out to the patrons that were. We did have some very good beer choices and enjoyed the ability to pick from multiple breweries. There were probably 25 to 30 different tap choices. This included even vodka based opportunities. It was a fun stop. It's located right along the Riverwalk which made it very easy to get to by walk. It's not that far from the Neville Museum which is where we were planning to visit but we're early and hadn't opened yet.

It’s odd they‘re billed here as a burger joint, because they “don’t do temps on burgers.” Once I asked enough questions to translate that, it seems they do not allow you to request a specific doneness for your burger, which seems odd since they sell a nearly $20 wagyu beef burger. But, nope, you can’t request that medium rare or even medium. It will “most likely be medium well - to well done.”

And don’t bother ordering a cocktail. They know neither martini nor manhattan. Stick to their fine selection of beers.

Ordered takeout lunch for my daughter’s birthday today (2/2/24) It was ready when we got there to pick it up. I asked the person at the checkout to please check to make sure nothing was missing from the order. She walked away. We ordered a burger & fries, a Reuben & fries , ultimate BLT & fries and the cranberry pecan salad. Burger & Reuben were fine. The Ultimate BLT was pathetic. Had it in the restaurant once and it was double the size. The salad I always ordered as I loved it-not anymore. Lots of spinach& onion- very little pecans, cheese and crasins. The chicken was so tough and dry it was not edible. They must have thrown in a microwave and nuked the —- out of it. Most of the salad and all of the chicken went in the trash.Total cost was $67.61: I called to ask for a manager and the gal who answered said she would help. I explained the above. The end result was” I will let the chef know.” I said I normally I don’t complain but when spending this much on lunch I had to. I told her if she wanted to make this right they had a name and phone number for us on this order - they can look it up and correct this. Very disappointed. Won’t go back.

First time in Green Bay and Hagemeister Park. The wagyu burger was delicious and the meat was tasty and juicy. The onions soup was terrific, covered with the right amount of cheese. Plus excellent service and friendly staff. Highly recommended. If I visit Green Bay again, I’ll stop by for sure.
