Enjoyed another Friday night fish. The grilled cod with the seasoning is the best in the area. $2 Old Style taps and excellent Old Fashions with a friendly owner and staff. Highly recommend

They were short handed, but our server did an excellent job managing it. I had ribs and they were fantastic, fell off the bone and just the right seasoning/sauce mix. My fiance had prime rib. He liked it very much. A must try is the funnel cake cheese curds, amazing!

Google fish fry. Scolled down found Hilltop tavern. Walked in, nice place, servers welcoming.
Ordered 3 fish dinners and drinks. Bill came to $45. Im stuffed. Kids happy and wife loves it. Subway sandwiches come to 45 dollars. GREAT PLACE GREAT FOOD GREAT PRICE. I will be back

We were there during supper hour. They were busy with all chairs full. The server was in perpetual motion. It did take longer than usual to get our meal and the fish was marginal done. (Could have been fried a few minutes longer.) It was still very good and pieces were large. We took 3 1/2 pieces home and warmed them the next day which completed the cooking.

One of those out of the way places but great staff, great food (especially the fish dinners) and place to hang and have some bev-ies 🍺🍹. 15 min drive from Holmen, on the corner in Stevenstown. (Between Holmen/ melrose- mindoro)

I must say the food was excellent. Not so much in regard to the poor service. I maybe could understand if it were busy. Only 3 tables of folks in there while we were there. Had to ask several times for silverware and never did get the cheese curd appetizer that we ordered. God help this place if they ever get a rush of customers!

Freaking love this place. My friend had her baby shower here it was a nice little bar in the middle of quiet country hills. Not a large bar but big enough for a decent crowd service was spot on definitely a place I will come back to thanks for the memories

Service at this location was great. Received a nice warm welcome upon arrival with a touch of humor. It's safe to say not many minorities frequent this bar/restaurant due to the number of stares I received. Nonetheless, my visit was great and the Swiss Steak, mash potatoes and gravy with corn was awesome. Would definitely visit again.
