We ordered a burger that came with chips as the side. Unfortunately, the chips were too hard to bite into, so we informed our waiter. After some time, he brought out fries instead.
When the bill arrived, we noticed an extra $5 charge for the fries. We explained that we had only requested the substitution because the original side was inedible, not because we wanted an upgrade. However, the waiter insisted on keeping the charge, maintaining it was an "upgrade" rather than acknowledging that we were simply asking for a replacement due to poor quality.
It seems unreasonable to charge extra when the issue was with their food quality in the first place. We won't be returning.

Host would not sit our party of 2 despite there being open tables and no reservations for them. She wanted us to sit at the bar where there were no 2 seats together. Wound up here when the hoity toity restaurant was full up with a long waitlist and their outdoor seating was referenced as available but soaking wet. Harpoon Willie's was perfect.had the chest curd w/ ranch and two pizzas. Cheese curds were a solid yup and the crust on the pizza was classy and crisp not too hard not soggy. Made for a great breakfast snack the next morning which is what a good pizza does best!

We came at PEAK food time. There was no table available yet they found a way for us to sit at the bar! Amazing atmosphere! I suggest sitting at the bar the first time you are there because you can really take in the uniqueness of this place! Our bartender was amazing! She ran that bar by HERSELF while making drinks for tables and was 100%! Food- OH MY GOD yes! We tried two different chicken sandwiches and they both were great! Homemade chips are a must. My daughter and I took my husband out for lunch Father’s Day. We hadn’t been to Williams Bay for a few years and wanted to surprise him.
The reason for one star rating was the fact that my husband and I ordered sandwiches with sweet potato fries as a side. Our daughter ordered a salad and asked to have chicken breast added to it. We had to wait for quite a long time for our food. A table near us with people who came in 10-15 minutes after us got their food before us.
A different server brought our sandwiches and fries, but they ICE COLD! Like someone had taken them out of the fridge. He said he’d take care of it. We waited for quite awhile and he finally brought them out. They were definitely hot. So hot they burned both of our mouths.
Our daughter’s salad had come with no chicken meat on it, so he eventually brought that out as well. By that time she was practically done with the salad so we got a To Go box for the meat.
Our original server finally decided to check on us and we mentioned the ice cold fries and missing chicken meat. She offered no apologies at all. Didn’t even blink. No remorse.
I don’t know what changed with this restaurant, but the many times we’ve eaten here in the past, it’s always been very enjoyable. Needless to say, we will not be back. We should have asked to see the manager, but it is what it is.

I had a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and every part of it was delicious. A great, perfectly cooked burger, and some of the best sweet potato fries I've had in a long time. My wife and daughter were very impressed with their food too. The interior decor is a lot of fun - a sort of boating garage aesthetic while still being clean. And we had a table with a nice view of the lake which is nice. Would 100% recommend this place.

This is a late review as we had lunch here on December 7th. It was crowded and were able to get a table right away and, it was in the porch area so we had a view of the lake. Not so spectacular in the winter, but as close as you get to dining outdoors in the winter. Great food, great service.

I came to lake Geneva for winter fest so I decided to stop at harpoon Willie’s. From the get go the service was terrible. My mother ordered coffee and they brought her old cold coffee. Then they were out of a particular item and the server insulted me since I asked about the item. I definitely will never be coming here again or would I recommend this place to anyone. Service was adequate. Atmosphere is great. Food was not bad but nothing to write home about. I found it lacked in flavor. It looked great, but just didn't really deliver and I left feeling unsatisfied. We had fish tacos, a burger, and calamari. The calamari was pretty good and I would order that again. The burger and fish tacos kind of blah. The fries with the burger tasted like the oil was old. We will probably try them again but so far they get a C+ with me.

When Mars is full-up, this is a good back-up option. Their wings *used* to be so good, but they're no longer worth ordering. Even after asking them to be made 'well done', they come out not-so-great. Sure, they're "big" wings, but they have no crisp. But, this is an easy place for kids and medium-sized groups. Usually decent shot at getting a parking spot in their lot, too.

Don’t stop here if it’s during Packer game. Our food was left under warmers for like 45 minutes. All of our food arrived to the table extremely cold. The Fish taco's we had was Delicious. My Wife had the Mahi, Mahi Cajun was a little spicy but fantastic. I had the Cod fish fry taco's mine excellent. But I did favor hers more than mine. The Atmosphere is good, we sat in patio enclosed. The Service she was pleasant, and down to earth. I forgot her name Sorry. First time we ever been to this place. We drove over an hour here to try something new. It’s right across the street from the lake and there is an outdoor enclosed patio to eat in. There was a car show going on across the street and looking at the old cars was fun. The atmosphere is nautical with lake fun decore such as old water skis and surfboards and ship stuff all around.

Our waitress Breanna was very kind and attentive.

We decided to try this place for a late lunch and the food was not great. The hamburger we got for our daughter was a little dry. The broasted chicken sandwich supposedly had a Chipotle Aioli didn't get any Chipotle. My broasted chicken was good but small pieces for the most part. The homemade chips were very good but I had asked for chips with my chicken and got fries. This place was about 15 to 20 minutes from our hotel and wasn't worth driving back to get this fixed.

Was told there was a party of 70 when we arrived but they were still taking other patrons. Tables were sticky and we were asked to move tables 10 minutes after arriving. Electronic menus were filthy also. Took over an hour for some easy and quick lunch which was at best decent. The chicken and tuna sandwiches were pretty cold. The people who came at the same time as us had already left by the time we got our food. There were tables who arrived after us that received their food quickly and had paid and left before we received ours. No drinks (soda) until about 25 minutes after ordering, and appetizer didn’t come with napkins, utensils, or plates. Waitress came about 10 minutes later after we asked for them and gave us plastic plates. Door to patio seating scratched my back on the way out-slams quickly behind you, be aware. Very disappointing overall. Looked like a cute place to eat with good view of the lake. Came on the way home from visiting family and now won’t return.

I love the restaurant but since they went from 8 wings to the bigger 6 wings, I can’t get the cook to make the wings crispy! I’ve tried over and over and asked the waitress to tell the cook,and I even sent one back 1 time and can’t get the cook to make the chicken wings crispy!! You used to have the best wings( they’re still good) I don’t think I will order wings there any more, since for the last 2 years your cook sucks! And will not get the wings crispy!! Everything else is good and the same with calamari caffe ! But if you want crispy wings-go somewhere else , because their cook is not capable of getting your wings crisp!!!!! A few weeks ago we got Isaac to finally get us some crisp wings-so we ended up ordering 5 orders and they were the best! But today 9/19/2024 I drove 45 minutes to get some wings and a beer and asked for extra crispy wings-and got slimy under cooked wings again! So I asked who the cook was and was told Aron!!!! If I come back and order wings again-I will tell them extra crisp or I’m sending them back!! Someone needs to teach this autistic cook what it means when you ask for crispy wings!!!!!! Not slimy skin wings! I hope someone reads this and gets this fixed!!!

I got food poisoning last night eating here. Never been so sick in my life. Ate the shrimp salad and the shrimp was cold, never cooked. Sat with a party of 5 on the screen porch looking out at the lake. Atmosphere cannot be beat inside or out. Staff so wonderful. Helping knowledgeable and Courteous. We probably could have used our waters filled a couple more times but really nothing to complain about. While the breaded cod fish tacos were a little too sweet for me they were fresh and cooked very well. The calamari, waffle fries, onion rings and hamburgers were out of this world! Amazing selection of great beers on tap too! I didn't have any cocktails but saw many happy people sitting at the bar. We went early in the day before they were busy and worried as the Sun left the porch that we may get chilly but, Before it even became a concern they had their overhead heaters on! Can't wait to go back and have some cocktails some more calamari and try some of their other bar fare! Overall a lovely experience.

A nautical themed restaurant with busy but entertaining decor staffed by cheerful and friendly servers and serving up some solid dishes. Service and atmosphere were great - orders were taken promptly and food arrived quickly all the while with plenty to check out within the restaurant. A great location to watch the beach traffic out the window as well. We thought the food looked better than it tasted, with the presentation being great. The chips and guac were unfortunately bland but the pulled pork tacos had a good balance between heat and sweet with a pineapple topper. Overall a good option for lunch around Geneva Lake!

Went to try this restaurant out after several recommendations. I was left disappointed. It was a bit stuffy, service was slow and the waitress training in a new waiter was slightly rude. On top of that my food didn’t come as described and when asked she said I would add a side of the sauce…. Seemed weird because it was listed as part of the fish tacos and didn’t come with it.
