We went to Hawk's Resort in New Auburn and enjoyed two large burgers as well as a delicious pizza. The atmosphere, food, and view were spectacular. The owners were working and provided great service and were very personable. There is a reason they have been in business so long! 5 stars!

We stopped in with 6 adults and a 2 year. There was not one other customer in place and the female owner was extremely rude and told us if anyone else came in we would need to leave because they would be disturbed by the 2 year old who just wanted to play with video games. We ask again if it was going to be okay to eat with the 2 year old and she then said “they are trainable you know.” We left and went to Max’s which had amazing service and good food. I would avoid Hawks at all costs and go Max’s.

We had some great bloody Mary's when we stopped by on a busy Saturday afternoon. My daughter had a really yummy strawberry milk shake, too. Service & drinks were great!!

Sorry, this review is for Max's Sport Bar & Grill on Hwy 49...They have awesome outdoor sitting in front of lower long lake. They have indoor sittings as well. People ar friendly. Perch fish fried on Friday night is delicious. Oh! They have boat docks too

Amazing resort! My band The Hollywood Rockstarz have played there. Great drinks, delicious food and awesome fun loving patrons. Hawk and Debbie are the best Excellent fireworks for 4th of July. 🤘😍🤘

Deb and Hawk are very great bartenders, cooks, and people. They are always willing to help with anything needed up north. They have turned the heat on for customers in their seasonal camper if there coming up for the night snowmobiling, towed people out of the ditch, any much more. The bar has burgers and pizza, WIFI, buck hunter, pull tabs, and a public boat landing. It's a great place to stop into when spending the day on the lake or ice for a beer. Theres also several docks for boat parking.

The staff is super friendly. I love watching the lake from the bar. Free WiFi, too, if you don’t get cell service. I think there are five taps, a bottle selection, and plenty of liquor.

Wonderful little bar with local beer on tap and a pizza and burger menu. The owners-who also bartend and run the campground, Hawk and Deb, are very friendly and personable. The well-maintained 10-site seasonal campground makes for a quaint and quiet weekend getaway. Another reviewer mentions cabins, this campground does not have cabins. We love this place, and plan to keep coming for years to come!
