We cannot thank Ashley Nysted enough for coordinating our wedding reception so seamlessly. Event planning is truly her thing. From the start, Ashley was so energetic, honest, responsive, and truly dedicated to make our vision come to life. We NEVER trusted someone so whole heartedly and there is no doubt you will have such a great experience like we did when working with Ashley. She made our day completely stress free and we knew we were in good hands the moment we started working with her. She was on top of providing all needed details to us throughout the wedding process, was extremely responsive to any questions, and was so flexible to accommodate to our requests given. There are no “hidden fees” anywhere and is straightforward with all aspects of what’s included in utilizing their facility. To top it all, the bridal suite room was a perfect space for myself as the bride and my bridesmaids to get our hair and makeup done, starting around 7am. Enough room for us all without feeling squished, and we were able to bring in our brunch food too! Ashley, and the Hawksview team are simply, wonderful, and so talented. Highly, highly recommend!

We don’t live too far from here, but this is the first time I’ve been here. We came here to hit a few balls on the driving range, and probably one of the prettiest driving ranges. I’ve seen in the area very picturesque. I haven’t played golf here yet, but I cannot wait to hopefully play some fall golf here as the course looks absolutely amazing. Staff very friendly and accommodating answered all my questions we visited the clubhouse/bar and enjoyed an old-fashioned. Definitely will be coming back to try the restaurant as well. I’ll continue to add updates to this post once I can add more experiences, but overall it seems like a great place.

Played the course Labor Day weekend. Extremely slow play. The Ranger stopped by while waiting on the tee and said "it's going to be a very slow round because of the holiday weekend.". Isn't that why you pay a ranger, to speed up play? When you schedule tee times every 10 mins, the round should not take 5 hrs. regardless of time of year.

My husband and I had our wedding here in June of 2025 and it was nothing short of a dream. Ashley & Matt (wedding coordinator and general manager) were with us every step of the way & made the experience easy and enjoyable. This course had all of the amenities and took great care of us. This course was beautiful and it was huge bummer that we got rained out after 9 holes. We had a group of 8 and the course blocked the tee time before and after us so we could enjoy ourselves. The pace was amazing and everyone was extremely friendly.

Dined here for their Easter Buffet. Reservations were required, and there were two seatings, a 10:30 am and a 12:30 pm. We had a party of 14 and found Hawksview to be professional and prompt. Quickly seated when we arrived, we had an extremely attentive waitress. The food was excellent, our group especially enjoyed the meats, like the carved beef tenderloin, ham, bacon, sausage, chicken, and fish. Would also like to mention the dessert table, which was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the homemade turtles. The environment is just beautiful, a rustic, elegant feel. Price was $59.00 per adult, plus 21% gratuity, and additional 5.5% sales tax. Well worth the price. Highly recommend.

Tonight, we went to Hawk's View for dinner. Website indicates open until 8:30pm. We arrived at 7:54pm, & we were eagerly approached by an elderly gentleman. We asked for a seat at the bar. He stated "the kitchen is closed." I stated, "the website states you are open until 8:30pm." He reinforced, "the kitchen is closed." We went elsewhere for dinner. We will not return.

I got married at Hawk's View June 2024 and it was the PERFECT place to get married! The views outside and photo ops were fantastic. Indoors had a rustic but elegant feel which was perfect for us! They have a bridal suite there to get ready day of which was very convenient. Matt and his entire staff day of were beyond helpful and great with communication. The food was delicious as well! My wife and I went to Hawk's View as we have in the past to have lunch on Saturday. We were the only two in the resturant and waited patiently for someone to acknowledge us. After several minutes one of the two waitstaff asked is we wanted menus. If that is what want to call it. Very limited shoices compared to the past menus. I asked is I could get a sinlge cheeseburger instead of the double one listed. I was told no. When waitress was putting in our order she asked if I would like cheese on the burger hense the term cheeseburger. My wife asked for a hot dog which was off the roller, Guess it would be too much to cooked on the grill to give it more flavor. Fries to go with the dog were extra as a hot dog is not a sandwich although it is listed under sandwiches, Finished our meal and was asked it we wanted a refill on our lemonade.
Sad way to start our day. Needless to say we will skip going there again. Sure has gone down hill over time. Only gave it one star in order to post. It was no wonder we were the only ones in the place.

The course was great, very pretty. It was a hot day with no clouds, not many trees until the back 9 for any shade. Drink Carts came around often and a food shack at the turn.

I understand rangers have to do their job and keep people up to speed but we were going at a fine pace, no one was waiting behind us but we were told to speed up 3 times. The last time we were asked to speed up, we were 1 entire hole ahead of the group behind us, they were not waiting.

I did appreciate the 10 minute gaps, some course try to cram more time slots in at like 7-8 minute increments, give some space.

We had our wedding at Hawk’s View on June 29th, 2024. We could not have asked for a better experience! We booked the venue June of 2023 and consistently worked with the coordinator leading up to our wedding day, when in May we were told she no longer works for the company. This did create some concern as we were a month out from our wedding day. Matt, the general manager, assured us everything would go as planned and to remain calm. He really was wonderful with meeting our needs and expectations for the wedding day. He was extremely responsive and reachable, constantly keeping us updated with anything we needed to know. He made sure that everything we expected was still honored from the previous coordinator. In fact, he even went out of his way to make improvements for us regarding multiple aspects of the wedding. For our actual wedding day, it could not have gone more perfect! There was not a single thing that went wrong that day. Matt, Jack, John and Ashley were all incredible with making sure everything went extremely smooth. They were so kind, personable, and accommodating to us to ensure we had the best day and we really did. Our guests had a great time and so did we, and we had so many compliments about the food. We could not have had a better wedding day!! We are so extremely appreciative of all of the staff members at Hawk’s View that ensured this happened for us in the way that it did. We’re still kind of in shock at how perfectly everything went, but are forever grateful for it. We wish we could do a round two and relive this day. We would recommend this venue to all moving forward! This venue will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to visit! P.S. We left our cake dish at the venue and our baker requested that we bring it back to her. We contacted Matt and asked if he could ship it to us so we could eventually bring it back because we live about an hour and a half away from both the venue and the bakery. He responded by literally bringing the dish to the bakery himself so we didn’t have to worry about it. Truly above and beyond. All our gratitude!

My wife and I had our wedding at Hawk’s View last Saturday, and we can’t say enough about the care, attention, and effort paid to us by Matt and his team. For example, we came up with a photo idea on a whim, and he jumped into action to help us make it happen while still ensuring we stayed on our timeline. Matt was in contact with us every day leading up to Friday rehearsal, got us in early on Saturday for decoration, helped us arrange nail down shuttle details, and crushed every detail that arose to make our wedding one that us, and our guests, will rave about forever. Played Hawk's View-Como Crossing for the first time today, November 15th. Even though the course closes for the season in a few days, it was in great shape, better then most I played during mid summer. The course layout is really fun and challenging. They have numerous elevated tee boxes, two of the par 3's have 25+ yards of elevation changes from tee to green. The Greens are somewhat small, with most having some type of undulations to them.. Bunkers are everywhere, but beware, I found numerous with large rocks in them. Had it not been for large rock damaging my 58⁰ wedge , I would have given this place 5 stars. I am looking forward to getting back out here during the peak season just so I can see what this place looks like!

Our group was in contact with the head pro after a previously poor experience. They took care of us for another round and I would like to say thank you. Our next experience went the way I wished our first would have. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and overall we had a great time. We even stayed for a bite to eat afterwards and the food was excellent.

**OLD** Our group had a pretty terrible experience with one of the rangers on hole 3. Really set the tone for the rest of the day. We stopped at the tee box where we met the beverage cart and ordered drinks. Ranger comes by and says "Hey you guys having a party?". Talked to us like he was the principle and we were going into time out. Told us we need to hurry or we will forfeit this hole and be moved to hole 4. Apparently you're not supposed to order drinks from the beverage cart here.... After this he sat up on the top of the hill and watched us all until we left the green, and would continue to pay extra attention to us all day. even the beverage girl was feeling awkward, she was doing her job and she was very nice. Honestly we felt completely unwelcomed, not the feeling you want for spending $100 for the round. Very disappointing, situation should have been handled in a much more professional way. Told the head pro about this situation after the round. He listened to us and nodded his head, that sums up our hawks view experience unfortunately.

You pay for what you get....and this course has a lot. Great pro shop. Specular staff. The course is a beauty with a nice mixture of nature, terrain, and layout to really work your game. Greens were in fabulous shape....pretty fast. The practice range was also pretty unique to see. Loved the scenic hole on the back 9. Carts had gps but were not electric....even gas carts struggled with this terrain. Fees were not cheap but this is a course where you pay and get a lot. Gotta play it again.

Weather makes all the difference and we couldn’t have picked a better day - in November! There was a frost delay which pushed everyone back, so much so we were a hole or two short of completing our 18th hole. Not a long course which made it more enjoyable and strategic. I worked the photobooth October 29 at Hawk's View for the Schaller wedding. It was a pleasure to work with Becky, the on-site coordinator, and the other vendors booked for the event. It made my job and experience the best it could be and I had a terrific time! The booth was packed the whole time it was open. Those guests really knew how to have a good time.
My drive through the property to the main building was picturesque, it was hard to focus on the road. Plenty of parking and easy to find the entrance. The patios and interior space were stunning.
Shoutout to wedding DJ Chris, from Moving N Grooving DJs, who did a fabulous job with not only the music but his connection with the audience.

Really interesting layout and memorable hole but the rangers are the absolute worst. Everyone wants a good pace of play but we played in close to 3.5 hours and had the guy "hawking" us the entire time while the groups ahead were dropping balls out of their pockets. Range is a converted ski hill with balls from the 1980's. With all the great golf to choose from in the area, I'd pass.

Great course. They started me on the back due to leagues. Greens, fairways, tee boxes all in great shape. Pace of play was good. GPS took a couple holes to sync up, I actually unplugged and replugged it back in. The GPS seemed off though, my Garmin watch and rangefinder would consistently give similar distances and the cart GPS would be waaaay different, 30 yards on one hole.

Played 18 holes on Barn Hollow with a 4:15 tee time with my 11 year old nephew on his birthday. Cost shocked me when I was told it was $84.42 to play 18 with a cart. I payed the price and we proceeded to the 1st tee box. In front of us was a group of five guys riding in three carts playing together. You would think they would have had the courtesy to let a twosome play thru but no. I am shocked that management would let a fivesome out on a weekend. I was glad to see they were not on the 10th tee box when we crossed over to the back 9. The other thing that was bothersome is the flags are all red. They should have colors that match the GPS. Red, White, & Blue.

Becky, our event coordinator, as well as the entire staff at Hawk’s View were instrumental in making our wedding perfect. Service was wonderful from start to finish, the course and grounds were immaculate, and the food and drinks were delicious! If you are in the market – I’d highly recommend them for any event!

By far the best fish fry I’ve ever had. Fish fried perfectly, fritters are to die for 😍 only thing was our bar drinks were ready and the waitress walked past them multiple times before bringing to our table. But over all would highly recommend and will definitely be back

A great, fun and challenging course! Playing well requires considerate thought about each shot. Very well maintained, beautiful carpet like fairways and immaculate greens. Great views and landscape to boot! Make sure you stand at the very top of 17 when you get there! Played the twilight rates and it was a great bargain. Can't speak for the clubhouse food but the cart beverage service on the course was great with a cantina for snacks and drinks at the turn. Only an hour from home and I am sure we will be back!

We went for the fish fry on Friday night. We made a reservation for 4:00 when they start the fish fry. We got there a little early and planned to get a beer at the bar before dinner. The bar was crowded, no surprise, it’s a golf course. Kind of loud at first. There was also a wedding reception about to start, we walked in the same time that the band was setting up, through the front door. We had to move out of their way, no biggie. We were seated at 4:00 and the hostess explained that 3 people called in sick, this oughta be fun! The only waiter, Nick was a little overwhelmed but we assured him we understood the situation and were in no hurry. There were mostly empty tables since it was still early but the drunk golfers were getting louder and were 3 deep with no one sitting down at the stool and my wife had to continue to watch out for the oblivious golfers and the prepubescent busboy traffic. We were clearly seated right in the pathway of traffic! In the meantime, the wedding guests were OVERFLOWING into the dining area and seating themselves at the tables. For some reason, they were not allowed to seat themselves in the set-up banquet area. Needless to say, in order to have any dialogue we had to shout across the table! The fish fry was very good and the portions were generous! Nick, our waiter handled the pressure very well and is to be commended. I would only go back maybe in winter when the golfers are not there. I think I’d also ask ahead if there is a wedding going on!

This is a very nice course. I enjoyed playing here. The fairways are wide open with very few trees to get lost in. Nevertheless, there are plenty of places to lose balls! Well kept and beautiful. There's a par 3 on the back 9 that overlooks the whole area, worth a walk to the top!
