Who would've expected to find a quant little restaurant tucked away inside a Kwik Trip!?

The waitress (Sharry) is second to none, she's the fastest and friendliest server I have ever met. I'm pretty sure she basically has my families order memorized already.

Don't sleep on this place. You need to stop by and try it out at least once.

I was here for 2 days on a reset. Breakfast lunch and dinner were good. Prime rib sandwich was great. The staff was super nice too. Reminds me of an old school truckstop in all the best ways. Clean showers and laundry too. Oh and the soups were good too.

I've read GREAT reviews with this place.
However... they were closed due to remodeling.
I've never had any type of experience due to remodeling.
I pulled up today & they were OPEN!
I was sooo excited! I walked in. Sat at the counter... and NOTHING!
Just a bunch of chatter in the kitchen. I was the only customer in the place. I sat there ONE too many minutes too long!
This is not a good look for a remodel/ "NEW LOOK/SERVICE"

I finally jus walked out bcuz obviously... the employees were more focused on hanging out in the kitchen, rather than taking care of their customers.

I'm in the area at least once a month & I visit this location because I love KT!
I hope I can have a great experience next time but Iam so doubtful & disappointed!

Generally 2nd & 3rd shift jus don't gaf!

Usually the Supervisor/GM works 1st shift.

So my son had a car accident on Hwy 29. Car wrecked, broken glass everywhere and physically he was ok. However, he was really shook up. The tow truck company dropped him off here while he waited for me to pick him up. All he got was a soda while he waited. But he was noticeably shook up. A waitress took note of his jolted condition, asked if he was alright and even took time out to sit down with him to ease his anxiety. To this unnamed individual, I just want to say thank you. And to let all know that there are still hero's and people out there that genuinely care. Thank you!

I know I shouldn't expect much from the younger generation but it still bothers me.
Waitress brought me my menu and started to walk off I stopped her and I'll take a Pepsi..she brought me a Pepsi. I ordered my food before she left because she seemed to not want to be here. Ordered my food and it was the last time I seen her until she brought the check.
The cook had to bring my food out to me, and after 30 mins of sitting there I finally got up and refilled my own drink. ..NOT GOOD.
I'm usually a 30% to 50% tipper but not this time it was 0%
And the place was not busy, only one other table was there eating.

The Hearty Platter is a hidden secret! Tucked away in the Bonduel Kwik Trip located just off Hwy 29 you can get a fantastic breakfast, lunch or dinner! Portions are generous and service is quick and friendly! Breakfast is our favorite! Omelets served with choice of potato and pancakes or toast!

Was excited because I was told this place was really good. My family stopped in on 3/16/23 a table of 4. Food and prices was alright, but the service was below average. Our waitress Terri had a horrible aditude! No smile, eye roll every time we asked her something or for something. She stood behind the counter an just stared at our table. That was uncomfortable. We was the only table in the restaurant at the time. Then before we left my sister asked for a refill to go and Terri told her she can purchase any size drink ftom the gas station starting at 1.29. I hope Terri finds a job where she can be happy cause I don't think this is the one for you.

Not for us. After eating breakfast there last week my wife had to go to the emergency room due to unexpected extremely high blood pressure and a very high pulse rate. We won't be back! We did not eat anywhere else between breakfast and the trip to the hospital six hours later.

Closed during the day today because no folks willing to cook, serve, or do the cleanup duties. Their sign at the entrance says they'll be open at 10pm tonite for the 3rd shift....I'd call them ahead of time just to make sure everyone showed up to keep the place operational!
