Met a friend at Hi-Way Harry's for lunch. Our server, Brook, was a sweetheart. Very attentive, but not a pest.
The food was delicious. We had an appetizer which was served before the meal we ordered and we had a good amount of time to enjoy it before our main meal.

Super sad and disappointing. There wasn't anyone to even discuss our service with, server never came back to check on us. Didn't know anything about the menu, wine list or beers on tap. The bartender was a prick also and stated, its not there responsibility to remember whats on tap as they change often, HILARIOUS! Food was warm, not hot. Cesar salad had ranch dressing and zero croutons. The best looking plate was a taco salad.

Sunday brunch: we used to love the Sunday brunch and cocktail menu. Now they've gone to the ever popular (shudder) buffet. For $26 a person (!), I expected good food and selection. There was a reasonably big selection, but over half was DINNER food. What we found to eat for breakfast food was below mediocre: pasty biscuits and gravy, tough sausage links, unflavorful bacon, and overall just barely edible items. Definitely not worth the price!! We have loved Harry's for 15+ years, and find it sad we might lose this as a go-to place.

Sunday lunch, in at 11:30 out at 1:00. Immediate seating but only two waitstaff. Waiter had a rip in his sleeve. Got waters but waited nearly 15 minutes for waiter to take order, we had to tell him what we wanted to drink. Ordered sodas and took another 10 minutes to get those. Then waited nearly 20 more minutes for soup. Then another 20 for dinners. Had the pork cutlet but it didn't come with steak knife just had dinner knife to cut the meat. Over all the food was quite tasty, but waiting that long for soda and soup is on waitstaff. The reasons restaurants are short waitstaff is either due to bad managers or angry chefs in kitchen. I would guess here it's the management. Won't be stopping here again until I see reviews about prompt waitstaff and faster service.

Very disappointing meal. Instead of soup or salad AND potato, you now get soup or salad OR potato with your $30+ entree (a policy the “new chef” implemented, according to our server)! Pretty sure the menu said 6 scallops were included in the dinner - i received 5 anemic scallops the size of a quarter. Spouse ordered pan-fried walleye - it arrived limp and fishy tasting, with potato pancakes that looked like hockey pucks - straight out of the freezer. This used to be one of our favorite places, with reliably great food - so disappointing.

I travel three or four times a year to the area and have been doing so for the past 15+ years. Since the very first time that I started travelling to the area, I have stopped at Hi-way Harry's at least once each time for dinner and always found the food, drinks and service to be amazing.
That said, in the process of looking at the menu online before my most recent trip this past week, I decided to check out the Google reviews and noticed a distinct shift that began about six months ago from 3+ stars to mostly 1 or 2 stars.
Knowing that often times bad reviews are more prevalent than good ones, I decided to give the recent bad reviews little credence and decided that I would once again go to my favorite eatery in Johnson Creek. That was a mistake.
I also noticed on the webpage that they use a picture of the bartender (Michelle) who hasn't worked there in a couple of years - and who BTW was amazing. I watched her serve a full bar all by herself along with making drinks for the waitresses serving tables (and never skipped a beat).
The drinks that I ordered were fine. I ordered the Sirloin medium-rare and a baked potato with a house salad. The salad came and it was also fine. When I was served my food, I received a medium done ribeye and a loaded baked potato. Some might say that I got a free upgrade, but the ribeye was fatty, barely warm & overdone for my taste and I do not like all the stuff they put on a loaded baked potato. I brought this to the attention of my server, and she brought me a normal baked potato and, as doing so asked if I was alright with the ribeye instead of the sirloin. At that point, I wasn't going to turn it into a big production but had already made up my mind that I was going to pay closer attention to the reviews and likely not return until I saw a shift for the better.
This was with only six or seven people at the bar and two groups of four and one group of six sitting at tables - I would be more understanding if the place was bustling like it was in the past.
Overall, not a very good experience.
I used to recommend this place all of the time to others that I knew would be travelling to the area and bring coworkers with me when I was there so they too could enjoy the food and ambience - not again.
What a shame.
(Oh, and the exterior could use a bit of "sprucing up" also.)

Went there on August 9th, 2025. Took forever to get our order taken and when she did take our order, took forever to get drinks. We should have left right after that as the table next to us complained about their meal and cost. They left full steaks on the table. Food was cold when we got our food. And never got our salads. Our bill was over $500 and didn’t get much of an apology from the so called manager. Very disappointing.

Took the girlfriend out for a "nice" 3 year anniversary. Uppon Arrival looked like a nice place waterfall upon entering, slight chlorine smell but too be expected with water inside, sat down to a ratty old torn booth, not a big deal as some of the best places have a lot of customers in and out furniture wears out. Menues were dirty, water glasses dirty, silverware had last spaghetti special still all over them. Ordered dinner and drinks before the fruit fly came to carry us away, felt bad asked the waitress if the food was getting prepared yet before putting a 20 on the table and walking out. Only positive of this place was the wait staff, as unnatentive as they were it wasn't there fault the other reasons. Went across the way to pine cone 5.0 stars there, pretty shitty when a truck stop is clealier than a fancy restaurant

The only reason why this place is getting a star is because I can't give it a 0. This place is so dirty. The tables, chairs, carpet, menus, silverware EVERYTHING. There is a funky smell and it feels like youre in a rainforest with how wet the air feels. We left before got our food because of how gross everything was. Including the 30 fruit flies around the table. First time there and we will not be back.

Do not eat here!!! Our lunch was served 45 minutes after we ordered. There was a bartender and 1waitress serving the entire restaurant! My breaded chicken pesto tasted rotten. This wasn’t the fault of our bartender server so we paid and left as it was so slow we couldn’t take the time to fix the bill. Food was kept under heat lamps with metal covers and then served on plastic cart hauled up from the kitchen.

I started with soup. It took awhile before it came, i don't know if that was because of the waitress, or the kitchen. The French onion soup had a good taste, but was only lukewarm. I had ordered a gyro. That came faster than the soup had. It was a lot of food and looked quite good. I immediately noticed the gyro was sitting in something. At first I thought it was juice from the pickle. I tried to pick it up, but there was alot of fillings. Also because it was soggy, it fell apart. I realized that the juice(?) on the plate was actually tallow from the lamb. I was disappointed.

We had 5 o’clock reservations for six people and seating was prompt. After that everything went downhill. Waitress did take our drink order. Never asked if we wanted any appetizers simply said can I take your order for dinner. Dinner took over 35 minutes to be served. Hamburger overcooked chicken sandwich was ridiculously small. Waitress never cleaned any plates off the table never came to ask if we wanted to drink refill till we were completed with our meal. Brought us the bill and never asked if we wanted a dessert when I asked That we may want a dessert she had to check to see what was available. Of all the desserts on the dessert menu she only had three available. Didn’t leave the restaurant till after 7:05. I wouldn’t go back there again.

This was a very disappointing experience. While the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and the ambiance was very nice, the food was bad. It took an hour for our food to come, and it arrived cold, dry, and underseasoned. Service was okay, though it came quite infrequently. I can't give bonus points for not messing up my Prime Rib, as I consider that a low bar.
I won't be coming again unless I'm trapped in Johnson Creek and bored to tears.

The service I recieved from tonights meal was unimaginable. My girlfriend and I were seated in a booth for 4+ and had to face the wall. Our waitress visited our table once when we ordered and a second time when we paid. Our water glasses were empty before we had received our main course. My girlfriends silverware had green flakes stuck to it and had a film covering it. I ordered a ravioli that was supposed to have lobster, salmon, crab, and shrimp. I received it with cold meat and no salmon. When I addressed the lack of salmon with our waitress, I was told that the dish did not entail salmon. I later addressed the issue with the resturant manager and she told us that she was aware of the issue and the best that they could do was a free desert or a $10 gift certificate. Along with my girlfriends sirloin, we paid $73 dollars for incorrect food and poor service.

On-line menu does not match actual restaurant menu. Web menu had many more vegetarian options and the restaurant menu had pasta only. Food was cold, ordered gourmet Mac & cheese and cheese was not melted. Kids menu Mac & cheese was so much better than the gourmet. Inconsistent between wait staff. Some tables have bread some not. Salads bland and boring. Just iceberg lettuce and a slice of tomato with cheese. Some other tables also had croutons but my table did not. Prices listed on menu were in pounds??? Do not recommend.

A little late in leaving this review but my husband and I had our wedding reception here October 5th 2024! It was everything I could have dreamed of and more. The food was incredible and the owner and her staff were beyond helpful. From the initial planning, to set up, to making sure the night ran smoothly - they were on it! We couldn’t be more grateful! We still come to Harry’s often for dinner and the live music and have enjoyed each visit <3

Menus say 1 price & they charge you a higher price & say the menu is wrong. Service was horrible bc they forgot 2 many things 2 list. They ask u if you want soup or salad with your fish dinner & charge you $4 dollars for half filled bowl when you are thinking it comes with the dinner bc of the way its said. The wait is unbelievable long very long. This is the 3rd time we went & definitely the worst & last! The only thing good was the fish is some what decent. Also clean the black mold from around all your ceiling vents on lower level that had dripping water on & around them, should be shut down just for that safety infraction!

Cooks can not cook a steak and we tried two rounds. They can not make a prime rib that not well done. Ribeye had so much pepper it was hard to eat.

When you enter this restaurant it has a beautiful water structure. Then when you sit down you notice the lack of cleanliness, rough tables, and dirty carpet. The Sunday menu didn’t offer a lot. As we waited for our drinks a Silverfish bug attempt to crawl across the table but I killed it with my napkin. I had a waffles and sausage. They were over cooked and zero flavor. I did order an egg but that never came. My guy friend ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with a salad. The lettuce was brown, had a tomato slice and a sprinkle of cheese. The sandwich was not good. The two of us figure we will need to find a bathroom in less than 20 minutes. I’m wondering if the inspector should come out. Our bill was $36.00 and not worth a dime.

Had a wonderful lunch today. Was able to be seated immediately and drinks were brought out quickly. We ordered the Gyro, Berry grilled chicken salad & a chicken sandwich. Everything was great! Food took a little bit, but nothing crazy. Atmosphere is nice and seats are comfy. To top it off we ordered the carrot cake. OMG - SO good!!!!! I wish I would have taken a photo. The biggest complaint was the bathroom. A few toilets didn’t flush and it could’ve been cleaner. Otherwise - a great experience. There are so many bad reviews lately I wanted to share some good 😊

A quirky atmosphere with retro decor. The food is a little elevated and has some interesting spins (ex. Blueberry chicken flatbread pizza). My table had an assortment of entrees. The sirlpin steak was slightly chewy but had good flavor. The baby red potatoes and steamed vegetables looked very lovely. The shrimp pasta was very good and quite large. The crab cake sliders were delicious, although messy. The sweet potato fries were some of the best ever. The salads were iceberg, but the Italian dressing was quite good. The complimentary bread was a little dry, but ok. The carrot cake slice was huge, although $12. Our waitress was perhaps a little new, but made sure that we had everything that we wanted. All in all, we had a very nice time and will definitely return.

Don’t let the curb appeal and fancy fountain fool you. I have nothing positive to say and I had high hopes. Service was slow. My husband’s food was cold. My Reuben was a mix of crunchy corned beef and under cooked corned beef and was incredibly salty. My fries were overdone. The only decent plate of food was my son’s quesadillas they were rather spicy though. Our waitress was slow and our food took forever and then it sucked when it finally arrived. They were completely out of crepes by noon.

Bartender was attentive and tap beer selection was relatively nice. Ordered mac n cheese with chicken and that was just not done correctly. Watery base with unmelted cheese throughout the entree. Flavor had potential but no sort of cheese sauce/bechamel consistency. Chicken was tasty for being over cooked. Loaded potato soup tasted like something was burnt and it overpowered every bite. A gentleman return a steak due to it being well done and ordered medium rare and 2 different customers tried ordering drinks the bar couldn’t fulfill. Wasn’t busy and I understand why after a first experience. Really cool building layout and that was the staple of experience.

After many years of driving past Hi-way Harry’s and never stopping we decided to give it a try. Made a reservation as it was a Friday night. Arrived right on time and waited at reception area for what seemed like longer than average before someone acknowledged us. We were seated at a comfortable booth and were told our waitress would be with us soon. Waitress arrived and took our drink order and then the waiting began. As other tables were receiving their meals we were still waiting for our cocktails to arrive. Very slow service with not much knowledge about the menu. My salad arrived, and we were told my husband’s would be right out. 10 minutes went by before my husband’s salad arrived. Food was ok, but not worth the money. Seemed like we had to ask for every little thing (salad dressing, butter, etc). For the price, would not go back.

This place looks great, very promising when we walked in, sat at the bar, we were not approached/greeted for at least 20minutes while we played bar games in the meantime. We ordered our drinks, got one within 5mintues and didn’t get the other for an additional 10minutes. Once we got the second drink we ordered food, a while later, food came out, the fish fry was decent(even though we had to wait for ketchup) but the ahi tower wasn’t even edible. I took two bites and spit both into my napkin. I let the bartender know the menu did not mention anything about wasabi and the dish was completely covered in it. (If you have ever had wasabi, you know a little goes along way). After I let her know, I ordered a fish fry instead, 20 minutes later a cook comes out and asks what I ordered. I told him to not even worry about it. Finally after an additional 20minutes with empty drinks and no food, the bartender comes up and we ask for our bill. While there were two people behind the bar, I understand she may have been busy(even though the bar was not full) but it does not negate the poor service we experienced. Will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone.

We had a 515 Sun reservation via OpenTable.com via the restaurant web site. Got there at 515 and we were told they were closed even tho door was open. No warning no apology - no texts from OpenTable (which texted me multiple times to remind me of the reservation). Really sucks. I'm guessing the service is all around bad if this is the way they treat people. We won't be back.

My family had reservations for brunch Easter day. I have been there previously and enjoyed the food, the wait staff, and the atmosphere. Today was completely opposite. The food was served family style. It was cold andvery limited on amounts. The restaurant was understaffed and overbooked. In the future I will look somewhere else. They should have stayed with the regular brunch.

Terrible experience for Easter brunch. There was no buffet (no food left), they lost our reservations, and seated us at a table without a tablecloth. and they served food “family style”. It was a large plate of scrambled eggs, hash browns with a few sausages and some bacon that the three of us were supposed to share.. I asked for ham and they found three pieces. Along with some cold undercooked chicken. I asked for fruit and they brought a small plate of sad looking fruit that looked like leftovers from other diners. No salad. No cheese plate. And charged $33 a plate- full price for a buffet that didn’t exist. I asked to talk to the manager, waited a long time but no one showed up and we finally left.

Went for Easter brunch. Seemed very disorganized. Some food on the menu wasn’t even available. Promised eggs Benedict, ham, waffles, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables, salad bar was just one large bowl of salad, nothing fancy. Our group of 13 made reservations for Easter Day Buffet. We got there and they lost our reservation. It took them another 40 mins to be seated. Once seated, we do not get any server for 30 minutes. It was a family style Buffet. We never got any service. There was no food at the self-service area. We ended up leaving. A VERY VERY Poor Easter Day.

Absolute disaster! Had reservations for 1130 and we waited 40min before asking if empty table in bar was available. They clearly didn’t plan accordingly for reservations or having enough food on buffet…when I say not enough it was literally that- Chafing pans empty,1 pasta salad, frozen dessert items and 1 person attempting to make omelets another table completely void of food. Buffet was not as advertised nor would it have been worth the cost. We literally walked out as did others. Extremely disorganized and many staff running around without direction. If you’re going to take reservations then honor them and plan for enough food to keep buffet full and available. Will not return.

Made a reservation for 11:30 (brunch started at 10:30), waited 30 minutes for a table before pointing out there was one to the hostess who had no idea. We took the table and our plates up to the buffet to find out there was basically no food. One piece of prime rib, pastries, a pasta salad, a vegetable salad, and an omelet bar. That’s it. And that’s for a brunch buffet that had only been running for an hour and a half. Two completely empty tables and 5 out of 6 food warmers empty. What a mess!

We went there on a Thursday evening. We had heard it was good and wanted to try someplace we hadn't been before. It's deceptively nice inside!! There is a waterfall in the main lobby and the interior makes you feel like you stepped into a different place altogether, not a restaurant just off interstate 94. We had Jeremiah as a server. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and checked on us numerous times throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed to make our meal perfect. We started with the mushroom chips with marinara. Highly recommend. There was a very generous helping served and just the right amount od breading on the portabella mushroom slices. I felt maybe a ranch or smoky cajun ranch might go better with the mushroom texture and flavor. I ordered the cowboy burger. It was juicy and cooked just to my liking. The barbecue sauce was a bit to heavy and sweet and overshadowed the burger. The fries were typical beer battered fries and were seasoned nicely and served nice and crisp and hot. My companion ordered the 5 cheese gourmet mac and cheese. It was tasty and obviously made from scratch. However the bechamel was slight lumpy and the texture coarse for a sauce. Still, the flavor of the sauce was outstanding and the texture of the macaroni was perfect. It was served with soup or salad, and my companion ordered chicken noodle soup. He liked it so much he drank the last bit of it. We shared the chocolate peanut butter torte for dessert. It was tasty and the peanut butter mousse was on point along with the chocolate chips in the dessert. The cake portion in the middle was slightly dry and I would have liked to see some freshly whipped cream on top with a chocolate leaf garnish perhaps. Definitely add whipped cream.

I took my Family out tonight to treat them, especially my Wife as She's been down with a cold lately. We both agreed that the Baby Back Ribs sounded fantastic and each of us ordered a full rack. All was good until we received the bill. I specifically remembered the full rack being $36, but we were each charged $40. I know, I know, it's $8, but damnit, prices are high enough and they should charge what the menu says. I brought to the attention of the Waitress and She simply did a Yoda and said $40 was correct. She even said She'd go check and came back confirming we were billed correctly. I asked about what I saw on the menu and she said she didn't know, but she said they did update their menus lately. Not sure what that means, but this is crap that I paid $8 more than the menu said, not to mention them forgetting to mention the $1.56 charge for loading the potato which they offered to me. I'm not comfortable with this outfit anymore as it always seems to be something with them. They must have plenty of Customers and don't care about repeat business. Look at the total!!!! This isn't a fish sandwich and a coke..... Very Disappointed!

The ambiance is wonderful. There's a lovely waterfall at the entrance which you can hear during your meal, lots of nice green plants above you and a huge cozy 4 way fireplace to heat you. Wonderful service. Jeremiah was fun and attentive.
We had appetizers: wings and Artichoke & Spinach dip with housemade chips (ask for the tortilla chips vs the standard flour chips). They make an incredible Grasshopper (Adult milkshake).

The restaurant was beautiful and when we finally got our food, 1 1/2 hours after being seated , and we had a reservation for 4, the food was great, baked French onion soup was Luke warm, and it was $6.00 extra, which the server never told us it would be extra, I had to go ask if we were forgotten cuz everyone around us that sat later than us got their food and ate then left before our soup and salads even came . Very disappointed since we brought guests and told them how great this place was. We may try back another time.

I called this restaurant for a large party after my elopement and they said they would accommodate it 2 weeks prior to the event. It was set, I got confirmation and I was excited because the inside is lovely looking. The day of the event, while we are about to leave to get to the venue from the courthouse, I got a call saying that I could only choose 3 meals and that I should have picked sooner (accusing me of neglecting to do so) though this was the first time ANYONE had brought this to my attention between the confirmation (2 weeks prior) and the day of the event. Getting there, the service was slow and, even with our 25 people being there for at least 2 hours, we were only seen for drinks twice and our food took approximately 1 hour to get to the table and was cold. I would not recommend this place for a large party, the staffing does not seem to accommodate that ability well and to call me as we’re on the way to the venue was frustrating for a party of 25. If it’s just yourself and one other person, maybe it will be different but, if it’s any larger I’d call ahead and ensure that you ask further questions.

I thought this was a truck stop my entire life until recently, we met some friends there for dinner. Essentially, this is your typical wisconsin supper club with great food, drinks, and service! The mozzarella sticks were uniquely delightful. Such a pleasant surprise, and I definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

Driven by this so many times. Today we decided to stop. Very cool place. Service was not great though. Lunch took over two hours. They were understaffed but that seems to be a reoccurring theme in reviews. They had two big parties of ten plus each. Seven tables in the bar area and eight people at the bar. There was only one bartender and one server. Both were busy which is why service was lacking. Food was decent. We got the croquettes which were good once we got the correct sauce for them. I also had to ask for the sauce that came with my sandwich. It made me wonder if anyone was on expo. We had to take our meals to go because everything took so long. It’s worth checking out if only the once just to see the waterfalls. If you go in with low expectations and a lot time you won’t be disappointed.

I went there with my significant other for Valentine day dinner. Dinner was complete fiasco and disappointment. Quality of food was below zero. For upscale restaurant they didn’t deliver promised quality. Mozzarella cheese with tomato and basil leaves was not fresh and looked like someone very unprofessional made it at home kitchen; dish with scallops and potatoes was low quality; scallops were small and potato was runny and soaked in butter. I have never walked out of a restaurant until today. We decided to come here for my wifes birthday as we pass it frequently. First impression we walk in the door and nobody is at the desk to check us in. A minute or so later we were seated and given water by our server. We waited 20 minutes and our server was nowhere to been seen. She couldn't even take our drink order or ask if we wanted appetizers. Meanwhile a table to our right had their order served and nobody came to check on us. Terrible I will never be back here.

Came in for dinner last night. Our server was newer but sweet and super attentive. Management however was very lacking. The manger followed her around yelling and being honestly quite rude to all the staff. This went on a long time, why wasn't she helping? We felt bad for our server honestly. She stayed calm and kept her work up dispise the poor management. The food was mediocre honestly ordered a sirloin and it was about 2 bites of overcooked beef. We later found out that manager was actually the owner. How very shameful. Our server tried to get us a new steak but honestly we did not want that manager at our table. Do better! We have a family gathering coming up in a few weeks and will be cancelling that reservation. What a circus!

Our organization had a monthly luncheon for 30 in November, 2024 after 4 of us went out, had lunch and spoke with manager re menu, date and time and our service needs the month before and called in entree numbers a week before.The event was a disaster. 1. Pounded on door to get in in morning, room not ready or heated, 2. Food not ready at agreed time. 3. Not enough of 1 entree as ordered so some had to change and wait. 4. Food was cold and most inedible--coconut shrimp fried to a blackened crisp, pork like hockey pucks, baked potatoes cold etc. Etc. 5. No help clearing tables so guests had to do most. 6. 1 person tripped (not restaurants fault) and got cut and bleeding requiring bandaid, clean up with no first aid kit.6. It was the worst experience we've had at any restaurant and not 1 person said they'd ever go back.

New Year's Eve dinner disaster! Cafe style table set with no silverware, napkins or water glasses. Cigarette lighter falls out of a wrapper silverware napkin. Two(2) hours after being seated, searching for management. Instead, I found several servers/bussers vaping off the lobby area. Entrees arrive cold and undercooked. Waitress had no idea who got what, it was a “switch of the dinners” game. Found a piece of hair in one of the dinners. Again, looking for management, found him at the bar enjoying his dinner. Showed him a picture of the hair in the food. He said, “I’ll make a note of that.” Turned away from me and continued with his dinner. Terrible management, service, and food. Highly disappointed after coming here today...we had a party of 15 and just about everybody's food was served cold/luke warm at best. The "sliced lamb" on the gyro is the same pressed meat log that comes off the back of every u s foods/Sysco truck. Burgers tasted alright but all in all this restaurant was expensive and most of the food tasted or looked like it came out a microwave. Not even sure how they are in business yet if this is the norm.

My husband and I had reservations on Thanksgiving. We were seated on time. Server was very friendly. The dining room was very cold, I'm not even sure the heat was on. When it came to the food from the buffet NOTHING was hot. Therefore somethings were like cardboard making it hard to even cut. The food did have good flavor for most items. The only thing that was hot thankfully was my coffee. So disappointed!!!! Received our bill and had noticed we had a charge for ice "on the rock", how tacky! Don't plan on eating here again!!! Me and my party got the $30 thanksgiving buffet and i have to say i am completely disappointed. Food wasnt very good, the food was cold, and there wasnt much variety. It seemed like the most generic buffet ever. Definitely not worth $30, the most id pay is $10. On top of that, one of the toilets was full and wouldn't flush when i tried to use it because the sensor wasnt working and the toilet didn't have a manual button to flush so i had to wait for the other toilet for about 20 minutes.

Never again will I go here. My wife and I came here today and ordered a hamburger for.
$16, and a portabella sandwich for $17. Both came with a small cup of soup. The soup was fine,but nothing special. My burger was very ordinary.And was very high price for what I got. my wife's sandwich on the other hand was terrible. Extremely salty and it made her sick, (one small bite). They comped us for the sandwich, but charge us five dollars for the soup. Not good if you ask me. I'll get my burgers from Culver's from now on.

Our reservation was misplaced (apparently because I made it online) but the staff cheerfully and promptly accommodated our party of seven. We had an excellent brunch, and everyone fully enjoyed their dish. Our server was friendly, polite, and willing to check on information she didn't know: gluten free and vegetarian options. I would not recommend this place. Our waitress did not bring us water or offer it. We wanted the Philly steak sandwich. The waitress said they didn’t have any peppers. My sister ordered it anyway. When she got it, it had peppers in it. I ordered the Reuben. The meat was so tough I had to open up the sandwich and cut it with my fork. We ordered a side salad. We asked for ranch dressing. It tasted like mayonnaise. The croutons were so big it was difficult to pick it up with my fork. I had asked for extra dressing and had to wait to get it. Our waitress never asked if we wanted refillls on our drinks. We had to flag her down. She was not at all friendly. The accustics was poor. Had to shout in order to hear each other. We arrived on Friday night , about 6pm.
Was not terribly busy, but busy enough.
I ordered the mango coconut shrimp , steamed veggies (broc, Cali, lemon and spinach) and a baked potato.

1. When we entered there was a waitstaff at the host stand, putting in an order- we waited to not disturb. After 5 minutes (no joke) of not being acknowledged, we were somewhat seated- wandered us around for a bit.
2. All the food was like warm. We asked the veggies be warmed again, they came back new veggies- not done and lukewarm.
3.The FF were bathed in salt. Some might like this, but my salt loving other half couldn’t even eat them.
3 . My shrimp and the steak did taste good. The fish was -well, sat in grease so it was mushy and again like warm. .
I did explain to the waiter the food was all luke warm, but did taste good. Just wanted him to know. He did offer a dessert or drink on the house, and we did decline. We ate our meals, again 2 of the 3 did taste good.

This was our first time here. Beautiful restaurant with fireplace, LED lights, comfortable seating, decor, etc. The food was also great. The only disappointment was the service. Super friendly staff, but our waitress took a long time to bring food, ask for refills and give us the bill. The pace of service was slower than we desired. We had to wait a long time (45 minutes for food and 20 minutes to pay at the completion of our dinner). Plan on a 1.5 hour meal for dinner, with a child we found that to be quite challenging. Our child expressed disappointment in waiting for food and finalizing our stay. No other staff member could help us pay our bill sooner.

As you approach you see worn out and dilapidated hanging planters. Inside these planters, weeds overflow. In general the exterior of the property is not well maintained.
As you enter you will notice the doors are worn down and in need of refinishing.
The restaurant interior is interesting. Not exactly bright and inviting but not horrible dark as well. The dark color palette on the walls is offset by the openness of the building.
You will notice the seats and benches are worn and ripped. The interior is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. There is a significant amount of dust and detrituson on surfaces, especially near air return vents and horizontal surfaces.
The house salad was mediocre at best, just iceberg lettuce with a few toppings. The Cesar salad came with tomatoes, which I have never seen before but was at least made with romaine lettuce.
I ordered the pork loin and it was cooked well done and dry.
For the expense, skip this dining establishment.

There were only five people in our table and we all got breakfast food which should be the fastest to cook.
The crab benedict was a no go since they were out. Which happens. No biggie.
Two people got the strawberry crepes. The strawberry filling was obviously from a can. The food was warm at best. Definitely not hot.

I've never sent food back in my life but as 3/4 of the food was so cold it was inedible, I did. My dad, who eats everything, finished his. I honestly don't know how he did it.
It's obvious what's happened. The front of house is stacked. The back of house is lacking. They either microwave things and forgot to microwave my food or it sat on a shelf by a refrigerator for a long time as there's no way that food should be cold to the touch.
Highway Harrys used to have decent-ish food and a nice buffet. The past couple times we've been it's been experiences similar to this. My parents are creatures of habit who continue to go there but I'm never going back.
Stop making your FOH heavy and hiring terrible cooks. Spend some money, hire decent cooks, and you'll have customers again. Having a dining room 1/4 full at a breakfast place after church services should be a sign it's time to change things.

Appetizers were pretty bland and soggy, others in my group enjoyed their entrees, I got the special: blackened salmon with fettuccine Alfredo, it was so salty it was inedible. Unique and beautiful restaurant on the inside. Perch was delicious, potato pancakes were great. Old fashion with walnut bitters was really good, bartender had to go outside to cut the mint for my refreshing mojito. Highly recommend and we will be back!
