I'm a regular customer every Friday night. Love the food. Usually don't mind the wait, even though sometimes it takes 15-20 minutes. Tonight however, I waited over 45 minutes for the food to come to my table. My friend got hers plus her take out order in 10 minutes. I finally had to ask for my money back because I couldn't wait anymore. I'm going to have to find a new place to go because the lengthy waits have been happening too much lately.

I took my son with me to celebrate. We had seaweed salad, edamame, and split a sunshine roll, spicy tuna roll, and eel roll. Everything tasted great, and the restaurant was really cute and cozy. Next time, we'll order some hibachi too. Highly recommended.

VERY displeased from our service tonight. We called to get an order to go since we had our two littles to get home. We were told 30min. for 2 orders of Volcano Rolls and 1 Chicken Hibachi. Arrived 10min after pick up time and had to wait another 15min to get our food. SMALL amount of chicken for $13.00, to top it off food was cold after waiting an hour.

Ordered takeout. Super easy to order online. Unfortunately the food was awful. Placed order at 454, picked up at 520 (exactly when I received the text saying it was ready). By the time I was home at 530 the shrimp hibachi and rangoons were cold. When I opened the bag a strong fishy smell wafted out.... Not a good sign. The hibachi rice was hard and had an odd taste. The sushi was not very good. I've had better grocery store sushi. The Japanese soup was just water, tofu and so much fishy seaweed. This was a waste of $60 and most of it ended up in the trash.

Went in tonight for an early dinner with my mom. We've been here many times but it's been a while.
Entered right away at 4:30. We were first to order. Our food was good, vegetable fried rice, chicken hibachi, and the Janesville roll. Our one sushi roll took quite a long time to arrive at our table. I think there is only one person who makes rolls and they were already working on online orders? It surprised us both that it took twice as long to receive the roll as it did to get our main dishes.
Front dining area was fine but the bathroom looked a little gross. The toilet/sink were clean but the floor, walls, and door all looked nasty.
The food was good enough that I would order again but I would rather eat at home than in the restaurant.
My favorites are the super crunch roll and cheese crab roll.

I'll start off by saying I love hibachi food. The service was mediocre they expected a tip when we have to put away our own dishes I had the vegetable Hibachi or should I say onion hibachi 90% of the vegetables were onions with some scattered zucchini and broccoli. For the price I pay I would expect more vegetables other than onions definitely will not be eating here again they should do better for what they charge...

Been coming to this place for years. Always been delicious and haven’t had a single problem with anything. It’s usually a 20 minute wait to get food, I typically order carry out and end up coming a little early to get my food. The inside is nice as well, not extravagant, but it has its own style of decoration which compliments the atmosphere well. Not only is the hibachi outstanding, but as is the sushi, though I typically only get a salmon roll. Usually spend up to 40 bucks for my wife and I. It may seem pricey, but the taste is worth it.

A great spot, very unassuming in a plaza surround with a mish-mash of other businesses. Small place but wonderfully decorated, the gentleman taking your order is very courteous and funny, and delivers your food to the table. The food is really good; we had the Janesville Roll(#22), Spicy Shrimp Roll (#20), the spicy yellowfin roll and crab rangoons. All were excellent and the presentation was fantastic. (Sorry, forgot photos!) Very urban Japanese express feel, good food and excellent service, small place great for a lunch meeting or a quick evening date when you only have half an hour between carting the kids around! And prices are very reasonable. 9/10, would definitely try!

The sushi was incredible! I got the steak hibachi and the steak was also delicious. My boyfriend got the steak and shrimp hibachi and agreed it was delicious. The only complaint that we both had is that the rice that came with the hibachi was less than impressive, otherwise it was a great experience!

Food is always good. I suggest that you add some sashimi options to your menu. I recently began to count carbs because of a health issue and find it very difficult to eat there now because there is far too much rice in the dishes offered. Otherwise, we love it!

I love this little place. They have a cozy intimate setting but the hibachi and sushi looks and tastes like a higher end place does it. I'd rather eat sushi here than other places in town because you can actually see then making it. Plus, I have NEVER had warm sushi come from here like I have at other places in town. I had the shrimp and steak hibachi and cru crab roll and asked for it with cream cheese. First, for being hibachi the flavors were not all the way there, quite bland but the steak and shrimp was decent, although for $15 there wasn't much. The rice is literally white rice, no flavor and was kinda hard. Truly helps to have the teriyaki sauce. The sushi.. I'm sorry but I didn't think the tempura flakes (soggy) and Mayo was going in the roll. Compared to the pictures I thought it was going ontop. So the combination of it all in the roll made it soggy and was not very appetizing and could only eat 1.. I don't know if the roll and the ginger in the container was old but it just gave me a unsettling feeling. I did have this delivered and maybe they can look into different to go containers as a lot of juice spilled into the bag and the food was not warm when arrived. And the steam made my sushi warmer than I'd like it to be. Nothing seemed fresh and I ordered 30 minutes after they opened. Overall I will try something else next time and maybe eat there. maybe it was just made incorrectly. Idk but all the sauces are delicious though!

Everyone that knows me knows I expect a lot when it comes to customer service. I don't give out reviews really ever. But I have never had a more positive experience than tonight at H&S. For whatever reason our way street order got cancelled. Eatstreet basically told us that we were out of luck for the money, wouldn't resend thorder without paying for it again, and would receive our refund next week. After talking to the manager, Jason, this guy took it upon himself to solve our problem and make sure we got our food right there and then. He did it with a smile and I left the while situation laughing with no regrets. I will always support H&S as long as they remain open. You should too because the people that work there are true human beings. Thank you all again for helping us out and making our night!
