This is real Mexican food, not Tex Mex. I tried the torta which was amazing! Service was fast and friendly. The bartender/owner brought out a few of his home-made salsas/hot sauces after talking to me about my love of spicey things. They were all very tasty. The flavors of my meal and the hot sauces are something you don't get in an American style Mexican restaurant. I will definitely stop by if I'm in the area again.

Whether it's just for a beer, a lunch, or dinner with my son, coming here is always fulfilling. Large portions, delicious options and flavors that are fresh authentic yet not over the top with spice or heat. The first week or so was a bit sluggish while they were getting the place opened and in order, but I've been back a bunch of times since, and I'm always more than satisfied. 10 out of 10 would eat here again. Just did a Google search for Mexican food near me, and this one popped up. Got a double shot of whiskey they gave me a triple at no extra charge. They were very attentive with drinks and chips & salsa. I'm a picky eater and can't do tomatoes and onions and ordered a burrito minus those, and it actually came without them. I've had many other restaurants that just tried and failed to pull them out of the pre-made filling. The staff were very nice and actually listened to you when you were talking. The menu is kinda small, but sometimes I think all the extra options at other mexican restaurants can be too much. Great place, great food, and great prices. Highly recommend.

After 10 minutes on a Saturday night the waitress gave us a menu, no one came back to wait on us or even get us anything to drink. After a total of 25 minutes we got up and proceeded to the door to leave. Some woman yelled have a nice night. We hadn't eaten since 6am and this was 7:30pm. Was too tired and hungry to complain. Bypassed stopping here 4 more times recently as we were unsure if we would be waited on.

My family has been going there for the entire 78 years of it's existence. Under new ownership, the new owners have not faltered in their management of the place. The food and drinks are priced very well. The food portions are great and if the cheese dip with vegtables could be bought I would buy it all. Majority of the time the food is cooked right on.
