Our visit started off fine. The bartender was attentive and nice. They were out of Leberkase which was disappointing as that was one of the reasons we stopped by but no big deal. This is where it took a turn… a woman with blondish hair shows up who I can assume is either another bartender or server and literally stuck her finger into a customers beer. Not sure if she was checking the temperature or trying to get the foam down but I watched it with my own eyes and the beer was then sent out. There’s no way that was the first time she did it. Didn’t even check around to see if anyone saw. Hard to want to come back after that one. 2 stars since the original bartender we had was pleasant.

I expected a lot more from the name of this business. It seemed that there wasn't enough staff. Seating inside was poor. I didn't like metal high chairs with no backs. The music that was playing was a techno music. I would have thought they would have a German flair. Nope! Food cost was really over priced for what was presented.

Decided to walk in downtown before heading out for dinner and came across this cute German garden and the coziness caught our attention. Lenna and Butz made our experience even better. We got the Bavarian pretzel and we each got a beer (mine was Abro Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime
(Jordgubb-Lime) and it was sooo good. I like sweet drinks and it was perfect). Great suggestion Lenna! Nice backyard with games and nice music. Definitely going back and if you’re in town, you should definitely stop by.

we really enjoyed the area and the kids had a great time but when it came to dinner, it was highly disappointing. We ordered the meat and cheese for everybody to share. They were out of hummus so they substituted marinara for our cucumbers and crackers in what world does that sound good ?? That is the worst substitute. I didn’t touch it. The cheese was growing white fuzz (only cheddar chunks were given, along with green olives and grey salami) I was still charged $18 for it. The kids hotdog was cut in half and the bun was double the size …bees were everywhere. I think it needs some attention and management.

I was impressed with the beer menu, and was excited to see an authentic German menu. I don’t know what to say except it was very disappointing. Mushy, bland potato pancakes served with syrup, not sour cream or applesauce. Couldn’t eat more than two bites. The brat seemed ok, but after a few bites I noticed the sauerkraut and mustard were doing all the work. One taste on its own and something was definitely off. Also atmosphere was inconsistent. Not many German restaurants with pink ceilings and pop music. Added a star, the staff was great and they didn’t make the food, and if you just want a beer the selection was great! But don’t expect authentic German experience. Take it from someone married to a German haha.

Sorry to say we had a pretty poor experience. There was a large group there already and only one cook (on Saturday night!). It took over an hour to even get our pretzel, which was not hot. (the cheese dip was hot and delicious.)
The schnitzel was "bland" and the leberkase sandwich was just ham on a store bought hamburger bun. They ran out of spinach for the spinach salad. It was just a comically bad experience, like they had no idea people were going to show up at the restaurant wanting food.
After all that they offered nothing off the bill and only mild apologies.

Also there is no air conditioning in the bar where we had to sit. 😅

The atmosphere was pretty cool, especially the outdoor, while indoor was nice, but not special.

The food was mediocre, so that was disappointing. The potato pancakes were tasty, but seemed not fully cooked. They were more like a casserole than a pancake. The schnitzel sandwich was good, but nothing to write home about. The biggest disappointment was the Donner kebab, which was supposed to come in a pita, yet showed up on a bun with no explanation.

And this was not quick food either. It took at least 30 minutes for the food to get to the table from ordering (including the bavarian pretzel appetizer... Which was very good). And this was at lunch time and it wasn't very busy.

About the only thing thing that is from Deutchland is some of the beer and the knick knacks in the restaurant. Otherwise, so far the food is not very German. Its nothing special. Potato salad is american potato salad from a regular grocery store. The waitress appears to know nothing about German food or the language. They didn't know what hot or cold potato salad was or curry ketchup was like I asked for something in ancient Sumerian.

Maybe it was the waitress' first day but they honestly didn't know anything. She was not aware of the menu or the drafts. The restaurant was hot inside. No A/C going. No one was disrespectful. The restaurant was really clean. I don't suspect that the food was not cooked right or something like it. It was not expensive but not cheap. I was honestly disappointed. Would I recommend this place, honestly no.

Overall it was quite pricey for pretty disappointing german food. The pretzel and cheese curds were the only things I could recommend. Several schnitzel were burnt, the potato salad was slimy and flavorless, and the chips appetizer was just a handful of Ruffles with a sauce that was not the French onion bacon dip that was advertised. The jagerschnitzel and spatzle was amazing!!! Like rolling my eyes in the back of your head of say oh my gosh good. Best german food I have had and I’ve grown up around a lot of german food. Would 100% go again.

Would not recommend the turkish dumpings. We wanted to try something new so we gave them a go. Was not very fond of them, but we did go back and forth between the turkish dumpings and jagerschnitzel and it made every bite of the jagerschnitzel amazing!

The food was amazing. The aesthetic was enjoyable, but not what I would consider a german aesthetic. Highly recommend. Next time we are in the area we will definitely go there again!

The best Bavarian pretzel I have ever had at a restaurant. The chicken snitzle was excellent, I just wish there was more. It was pan-fried perfectly. The spatzle was nice, again wish there was more. Attention foodies if you’re looking for something unique, you need to check this place out. It used to be a German restaurant however it’s under new ownership and they offer a Mediterranean menu since the owners are both from Turkey. I was excited to try this with our group tonight because I’ve never had Turkish before, and I tried myself on being a foodie and trying all food from all over the world. I must say everything on the menu is delicious. We all tried different things and shared each other‘s plates. I highly recommend the chicken kebab And the meatballs which actually looks like mini sliders absolutely to die for everything was super delicious yummy and decadent. Their rice is made absolutely fluffy and perfect. We also had a side order of falafel and preserved. We topped it off with their baklava and homemade goat ice cream all to die for I could’ve just kept eating. I was in Turkish cuisine heaven Amigos. We walked into Biergarten thinking we’d get a beer and a pretzel. We did get beers and a great assortment of what you’d expect. What we didn’t expect was fresh, homemade recipes of tremendous Mediterranean food. Chicken marinated for two days and fresh olives pickles and tomatoes next to some of the best hummus I’ve ever had. We came because of the reviews of really yummy GERMAN food….and found an incredibly limited Mediterranean menu????? We would have left if not for the fact that we had our beers so we decided to stay and just order appetizers. We got Dolmades and a hummus plate. Now the Dolmades were ok, kind of bland, but passable. The $13 hummus plate…well let’s just say what they gave us what was maybe $5 worth of. With all the positive reviews we stopped in over the summer, the schnitzel was absolutely terrible. It had to have been the 3rd or 4th time reheated in a microwave. Could be used as a dog frisbee. Absolutely delicious food. We started with the falafel which was perfectly crisp, I had the dumplings and they were absolutely fantastic, topped with a tasty creamy yogurt garlic sauce. My husband had the butcher style grilled meatballs(they were more of a patty than a meatball). They were grilled to perfection with a mix of wagyu and lamb and seasoned with Turkish spices. Surprised upon ordering that it's being converted to a Turkish Mediterranean style menu after new management taking over, but pleasantly surprised as the kabob was outstanding and super reasonably priced. Meat was super tender and not fatty. Beers were still of German decent and again priced much lower than a $9 spotted cow draft purchased at the Kalahari earlier in the day. Customer service was top notch, would most definitely go back when we are in the area. Server stated they are trying to merge the German and Mediterranean flair so eager to see how that turns out. I hope this new management is a success and wish them the very best!

We were just there. Nice and big selection of German beers on tap. Authentic looking place but as we were sitting outside drinking some German beer people kept walking by and not stopping. They said the samething my wife and I said, nobody's gonna wanna come and drink good German beer and listen to hard rock, pop rock, etc, when they should be playing German music and not all the music we have partyed to and listen to all the time !

Awesome addition to Wisconsin Dells! We stopped by three times during our 3 day visit. Twice in the bar and once in the bier garten.
Super fun and authentic! Nice variety of food and venues. Amazing bier list.
We had great servers each time we stopped, but I only got the name of our last biertainer, Vanessa. She was very knowledgeable and made our time in the bar extra fun!
Prost to the team! Well done!
We will be back in November!

Loved the place. The Jamacian gentleman was very friendly and let us do lots of taste testing. The strawberry lime cider was amazing. In the Dells stop here for sure and bring your smile and laughter.

Such a beautiful venue! We stopped on a sunny warm day in the Dells. Hubby tried their Strawberry Lime Cider! OMG! It was to die for! I don't even care for ciders (I'm a dark beer girl) but had one. A refreshing summer beverage. Stop in!

Honestly very disappointing. Local of 20 years walked down with my son. First off they don’t have prices on the Jamaican truck which is a red flag right there. Second I order chicken jerk meal. They Hand me a to go container one meal $24 for a food truck meal no drink?? Wow! On top of it I ran 3 dif credit cards that there stupid machine didn’t work. Then very unprofessional how they said u obviously don’t have money on there u have to go to atm.
Rude and very disappointing. We actually liked the spot and music. But after our first experience there we will be sticking to elm street plaza. Very friendly people over there and not being belittled because of a credit machine that didn’t work 👎🏼

My party of three enjoyed our time here. The German decor was fun without being excessive. The curd appetizers were great - very light and flaky, with a thick cheese center. I personally got the house burger. It wasn't made as ordered(Medium rare, came out well with no notice it's cooked that way), and tasted a bit oversalted, but the flavor was still there and it was edible. The tater keg side was absolutely delicious.

I think my only big complaint was the service from apps to dinner was pretty long, despite it being very slow. I still wanted to rate it a bit higher because it is a new establishment, and Moose, our waiter, was very pleasant.

Good German Food and Beer! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The music playing (German Pop) puts a modern twist on the place! I would highly recommend it. We had the spinach salad, the pretzel, and cheese curds. All were great.

Awesome new place in the Dells! Amazing selection of German brews on tap. Staff was knowledgeable on a lot of them and service was excellent. The Biergarten was still coming together but had plenty of tables available. Definitely worth a stop while in the area. Prost!
