A least one a month have visited the store for something like the bulk teas, spices, flat breads and olive oil. Always super friendly people working there. The store looks good after the remodel and only disappointment was there was no lamb to order for shish kabobs (had only beef) that time. The made to order food has always been tasty too. My wife and I made a Saturday date out of checking out Levantine grocery stores in the Milwaukee area. We had three stops on our list: Breadhouse, Holy Lands Grocery and Attari grocery.

Our second stop was Holy Lands. When we walked in I was tempted to buy a couple of their baked goods but we’d already placed an order at Bread House. The baked goods looked fantastic but we didn’t try. Next time for sure.

They had a grill on site where they were cooking up kabobs, mixed grill and a variety of other plates. We didn’t try anything so my rating is simply on looks, smells and options.

We tried the mix grill plate, which consists of beef kofta, beef kabob, chicken shish tawook, Hummus, salad and rice. There was also a large piece of warm delightful bread included. The food was absolutely delicious and was ready in under 15 minutes.

The grocery store is a bit chaotic, dusty and needs some updates, but don't let that deter you from trying the food. They're working some serious magic on the grill. The meat was so ridiculously tender and seasoned well.

By far the best in the business when it comes to quality food whether it’s grocery’s or a ready meal, you will not be disappointed….whenever I’m in Milwaukee to visit my family members I have to stop here to buy my aunt a gift as they have many to choose from….I had also just used the butcher shop for a huge party and was surprised by the compliments I received from my family members on the quality and cuts of Lamb

I had never been here before and was looking to try something new. Wow! This food is absolutely delicious! My wife and I had the combination plates. I had never had hummus this good. Loved This little authentic place. We orders a kabob it was made while we shopped in the grocery store. We didn’t know what all Of things items were but bought the baklava.

This place came recommended as the best spot in Milwaukee for fresh and authentic falafel. After visiting on a Saturday afternoon, I have to say, I agree. Dine-in seating is limited but, there were only two other diners there at the same time as us and we did not have to wait for a table. The place is looks grungy, but you can always take the food to go. It is worth it! It took about 10 mins for our food to be prepared after ordering. The falafel was packed with authentic middle eastern flavors & sauces and cost $3.99. The hummus appetizer was huge – we had to take more than half of it to go. The fries were piping hot and a nice compliment to the spiciness of the chicken shawarma. We did not have to pay before eating. To pay, we went over to the checkout in the grocery side of the place and let the cashier know what we had. We even received two complimentary packets of instant cappuccino mix.

Great food at great price. I got beef/lamb and chicken Shwarma over hummus, each $7-8. Great price, and you get a lot of food. Shwarma is made in the house, and it is delicious. You a container with hummus topped with plenty of meat, sprinkled with fresh greens and roasted almonds.
Unfortunately, in the evening the meat was served cold, but it works well for a takeout. Next time i will ask to have meet separately, so i can warm it at home.
There is a wait to get food ready. Their arabik coffee is spiced and tasty, and it is much smoother since it is not drip-coffee you dont get coffeine overdoze.
