The absolute friendliest staff, food was fantastic, and the atmosphere they've cultivated around the grounds was picturesque.

While vacationing in Spring Green this holiday weekend, we were searching online for a place to dine. Found Homecoming and called to see if we needed reservations and had a couple other questions. The lady who answered the phone was the sweetest! Many restaurants sound so rushed and can't get you off the phone fast enough. This kind gal patiently answered all of our questions and then proceeded to tell me about their specialty cocktail of the evening. It was a great first impression and we quickly made our way over for dinner. The wine selection was excellent, the ambiance so welcoming, and the pizza was delicious! When we finished eating, we relaxed and talked for a bit. One of the kitchen staff was making his way through the dining room and offered to remove our plates. He then chatted for a moment, sat down at our table (so sweet!!!) and told us some history of the restaurant. We were already so pleased with our dining experience, but to have this young man take time out of his busy workday to chat with us made our experience a definite 5+ stars! We later learned his name was Christian, the chef. From the initial kind voice on the telephone until our departure, every staff member we met was top notch! Keep up the great work!!!

Such a neat place. The food is SO GOOD - obviously made by talented, experienced chefs. It's a different concept in that you do all your ordering at the counter and they bring it out to your table. Grab your own plates and silverware and head outside in beautiful weather, or stay inside the old schoolhouse. The menu changes often depending on what local produce is available but their woodfired pizzas seem to be a staple (at least in the summer time). Picture is their Roasted Squash Toast.

The place could use some cleaning up, as the paint is chipping just about everywhere, but other than that it's a cute vibe. The food was good but over priced - 10 bucks for a single zucchini? Some of the pizza pieces had no cheese on them - I appreciate that they use real mozzarella, but that sucked when you grabbed a slice with no cheese at all! I'm sure this is a great spot if you are just dropping by for some drinks with friends. It was good food, but it's expensive for the dinner you get.
Also, the outdoor seating was kinda sad and gross looking. Someone's old plastic lawn chairs.

Playing Kenny Chesney outside almost lost them a star especially the cover of Tracy Chapman. The setting of eating outside was splendid. We were there for barbecue night. The collard greens were delicious. My companions loved the Mac and cheese side too. The smoked sausage, ribs, and chicken were all tasty. The refillable eclectic water krafts are nice. The lone bathroom seems inadequate but maybe there are more hidden somewhere.

Homecoming is such a special restaurant! I recently had my wedding rehearsal dinner there, and Kyle went out of his way to make sure the night was perfect. We were able to create a custom dinner menu, complete with their wood-fired pizzas that everyone enjoyed watching being made out back, and the food was beyond delicious. Honestly the best butternut squash ravioli I had ever had, and trust me I have had this dish many-a-time. Besides the amazing food, the drink selection was fantastic and the entire staff were top notch. I wished I lived in Spring Green to eat here all the time : )

We have been to Homecoming twice for brunch, experience both times was phenomenal! I had the shrimp and grits today, and my husband had the avocado toast and we split an amazing cinnamon roll. So impressed with the flavors and fresh ingredients, everything was seriously delicious (especially the shrimp and grits- just amazing). My only regret is that we ate everything so quickly I did get any pictures! Also impressed with the staff and how well run everything was. We plan to definitely try the lunch and dinner items next! We had the pleasure of trying Homecoming for the first time recently. The pasta, wood-fired pizza, and the turmeric chocolate cake we had were all phenomenal. Our hotel told us it’s common to see owners at the SG farmer’s market picking up what’s in season to incorporate into the menu. This place is a gem and makes SG even more special.

Our group of eight had an awesome time eating out back in a garden setting, that backed up to a walking trail and school (the kids were able buzz in and out between our table and the playground) . Just had brunch there and it was fantastic. We’ve been once before for dinner and loved it. The food is very well prepared and thought out. I think it’s ambitious for a small town setting, but I’m pleased they are cooking from the heart rather than trying to simply fall in line. I spoke to the owner, Kyle, and I’m impressed with his heart and dedication. I haven’t met his partner/wife yet, but I commend them for taking on this endeavor. I’m a 30 year plus restaurant veteran and former owner of 5 restaurants, so I’m always rooting for the little guys out there. But I’m a patron first, and I choose restaurants the way most people do—through quality experiences. We love the food, the simplicity and casual mood of the place and the overall vibe. We live 30 miles away and will continue to dine there frequently. People and restaurants like this are needed in our communities! When they go away only the big guys and chains will be standing. Support this place to keep them moving forward. You’ll be glad you did in more than one way.

Went up to Spring Green for the weekend from Chicago, and found this amazing restaurant by chance. Laid back atmosphere which makes it super cozy and extremely family friendly. Fabulous food, atmosphere, and service!
We were lucky enough to have perfect weather to sit outside amongst the butterfly garden and low-key music.
Between the 4 of us we had 2 bottles of wine, 2 cucumber salads, an olive dish, sausage cabbage appetizer, and 3 pizzas. We had leftovers, but everything was great!
Thank you so much to the staff for making our first visit so fantastic!
We look forward to returning soon and will also gladly sit inside the beautiful dinning room.
