We stopped into town on a whim, Saturday 27, hoping for a late lunch, and are SO GLAD we did! The atmosphere and music was sublime. The food was fresh, unique, and very delicious, with just the right portions and price points. Staff was delightful. We did not want to leave...lol! The bakery next door was also spectacular we bought some delicious breads to take home.. been enjoying it ever since! We did not imbibe, but their drinks looked delicious with fresh ingridients pucked from thier garden! Others were enjoying!! Stop in! Its worth it!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when we walked into this place. It’s an outdoor venue kind off the side of winding road in a really small town. There seemed to be only one person waiting on tables and at first he seemed a bit dismissive of us — to his credit we were a group of 6 college-age people clearly from out of town.

However, once we sat down and had a chance to look at the menu he seemed to be in a better mood. And the food was PHENOMENAL. An interesting selection of sandwiches and other items that, if I had the time and money, I would have tried everything. The fryer was off that day due to the heat, which limited some of our options, but that was okay. I ended up getting a veggie sandwich, which was good, but the highlight was by far the potato salad, which was served in this adorable lettuce wrap (see photo). Cute and very tasty.

Everything our party got was delicious. A highlight in particular is that the bread for the sandwiches come from the neighboring bakery (which I’ve heard is run by the owner’s girlfriend which is honestly adorable if true). All in all, a MUST if you are visiting Stockholm.

We drive over an hour to come to Hop Dish, and Vine. The food here is always in a league of its own. We absolutely love the local ingredients, the chef is amazing, and the owner, Matt, is a great guy. Make the trip here just to eat at this place. Second to none.

Soooo disappointing. We visit Stockholm often but had not tried Hop Dish yet. We stopped in on a Sunday late morning hoping to have brunch. Their online brunch menu looked so good. After being shown a table and a couple of menus tossed our way by a grumpy bartender, we realized they were only serving lunch. Upon inquiring about brunch, we were told they only serve brunch in the winter.?? Hate to say, but nothing on the menu appealed but my wife did have a mimosa. Probably the worst mimosa ever. Tasted like cheap vodka and some kind of orange drink.

Driven through Stockholm many times but never stopped. We decided on Hop Dish and Vine for lunch and we're thrilled with the meal. I had the Porchetta sandwich and Mrs. Erdelac had the Italian. The house chips are fantastic, a mild salt and vinegar that is very well executed. The bloody mary compliment the lovely late June meal. Highly recommend.

Everything is excellent! By far the absolute best eggs Benedict I have ever had! The eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was definitely done right! Over the moon for this dish.
And the bloody Mary's were so refreshing, and that's not something you usually say about a bloody! It was so good I had to have a second!! Kudos! Highly recommend this place!!

I went to this amazing restaurant yesterday. It is a very quaint, rustic surprise. The staff, food and the customers were all very friendly. There were even a few four-legged visitors stopping in to pet. The weather was beautiful so having the open air dining made it even better. There are a few tables indoors.

The menu is delivered on a clipboard with the offerings for the day. I included it in the photos. I enjoyed the Creamy Squash Sage Pasta. Which was absolutely amazing. My dining companion had the Mushroom Philly Sandwich with fries and the Marinated Herby and Fresh Feta as a starter. Since it was her birthday she topped it off with a Flourless Chocolate Torte w/ Spicy Orange Cardomom Bourbon Syrup. I enjoyed their Cheesecake w/ Apple Cider Caramel sauce. They were to die for. Absolutely delicious!

I am so thankful a very friend gifted me with a gift certificate to this amazing restaurant in this gem of a town because I would have never gone to the Pepin/Stockholm area. Will definitely be spending time there when they re-open in the spring. They will stay open as long as the weather cooperates. One of the servers said hoping to stay open until the middle of November.

Had a pleasant experience here. Chill atmosphere with very friendly and welcoming staff. I had the tostadas and they were delicious! I could tell the tomatoes were farm grown. We are former residents of Maiden Rock/Stockholm area, and during a visit to see friends, this restaurant was recommended for lunch. The space has housed other food venues, some very nice, but none of them could compare to the food we enjoyed on this day. I love the variety and the emphasis on local fresh products. The service was also excellent, I felt the price was very fair. Someone knows their way around a kitchen! Wish they would open a branch in River Falls, where we now live.

On our customary visit to area we decided to eat here. We divided the chicken sandwich, served with freshly made chips. The outdoor patio was relaxing. The food was fresh and great chips!. We observed that the water bottles on the tables were filled from an external faucet where one puts a garden hose on, a novel approach in our experience.

The staff was unfriendly… I stood at the bar for 10 mins trying to get a glass of wine because our server left us sit at table. 3 staff behind bar didn’t knowledge me. I had to say “hey” can I get a drink. No smile/no welcome.

Consider going on a little road trip down 10 to Stockholm. This restaurant is as good as anything I've had in the Twin Cities for similar fare. I had the pork belly Banh Mi sandwich. It had liver pate on it. The combo of flavors was brilliant. The richness of the two meats was cut by the pickled veggies. The Bloody Ceasar was the perfect compliment.
The space was charming with perfect Charlie Parr genre music flowing.
The staff were attentive but not hovering.

What a hidden gem! Tucked away off the Main Street you will find the best ambience, fresh food, and service. This might be my new favorite spot. If you like twinkling lights and being surrounded by plants and flowers, it might be yours too! Loved the weekly specials that incorporated rhubarb (flatbread and margaritas) and well as the chicken sandwich (best fries ever). We live about an hour away and can’t wait to come back!

We came in for a late lunch during a rainstorm. The owner welcomed us & we chose to sit at the outdoor bar under the overhang. Our lunch was incredible. Had the best Paloma I’ve had yet. The food and beverages were absolutely amazing! We were seated promptly and served in a timely manner. There was quite a long wait for our food and the music was a bit loud, but the wait staff and delicious food made up for it. This is a pretty restaurant with a nice setting in Stockholm. The food was very nice, although I do not think it lived up to the rather high prices. My only issue was that the server, who could be the owner, was using some questionable language. Even though I believe it was NOT intentional, it still was inappropriate. Great outdoor place to sit and relax in the shade while grabbing a bite to eat. We got drinks, burgers, and carrot cake. All were beyond amazing. The burger was hands down one of the best I've ever had. You can tell they care about the food they serve. The carrot cake was perfectly moist and had plenty of cream cheese layers throughout! i have never heard of Stockholm, WI before. however, i am incredibly happy to have discovered it.

if you are in the area for the day, or planning a trip to this area, i would highly recommend Hop Dish & Vine. everybody here is very warm and friendly. even their dog! i had their ham sandwich & watermelon mint feta salad. both this restaurant and the town it resides within, have made me excited about wisconsin again.

Sure it was the art fair saturday but lots of things could be improved upon... our cuban and panini sandwiches were either cold or dry, salads of marginal quality, rude waitress, but the worst was when she tried to cheat us by charging $142 for an $85 meal. I really wanted to like the place - the spot is nice and I can overlook everything else except larceny hence the review.

We had soup, salad, sandwhich w/multiple very complimentary meats, which sounds odd but not if you eat that awesome sandwhich, and a falafel sandwhich. I don't like much falafel and from what i tried it was very good. The atmosphere and service was also excellent. Had i known of this place beforehand I would have carved out more time to just be there, the patio was peaceful and beautiful. Flowers and herbs abound around and there is a m'f'n waterwheel!
