I went there for trivia and ordered cheese curds and fish tacos. I enjoyed the cheese curds but I did not enjoy the fish tacos. Tried Hop Haus for the first time. I got the Cuban with sweet potato fries, and my girlfriend got the tacos al pastor with tater tots. For drinks, I got the Mexican lager, Staycation,and my girlfriend ordered the pineapple sour. The Cuban was great. I've had quite a lot of them at a lot of different places, as they're probably my favorite sandwich. The ratio of the ingredients was good, plenty of mustard, great flavor in the pork, and I really liked the bread they used. The sweet potato waffle fries were very good. Nicely crispy, and they use a flaky salt that I liked a lot. My beer was great too. Light and refreshing, with a hint of hops. I'm not usually a big fan of hoppy beers, but it worked well here. The pineapple sour wasn't my favorite from the sip I tried. It wasn't bad, but more sour and less fruity than I prefer. My girlfriend liked it a lot. I also got a bite of the tacos al pastor. I'm not usually a big fan of them, but I actually really liked these ones. I really enjoyed how they included chunks of the pineapple. Overall, the food and drinks were good. Service was great too.

We were staying locally to go to Mt. Southington and decided to go to Hop Haus for dinner. It’s a rustic looking tavern with a ski lodge town feel on the inside. The staff could not have been for friendly. They were cheerful and helpful with dinner suggestions and very attentive to our needs. I ordered an unseasonable drink that I love year round and it was made perfectly, accented with a dried slice of lime giving it the perfect look and taste. We started with the spinach artichoke dip which was delicious. I ordered the bacon brie burger that our waitress suggested and it did not disappoint. My husband and one of our kids ordered the bourbon bacon chicken sandwich which they said were awesome. Thanks so much we can’t wait to come back again when we are in town next!

The last few visits here have been very disappointing. A few months ago we had a large party. We were seated easily however the waitress told us they were not able to take our order and we had to write down our order. We wrote it down and gave it to the waitress. That was the first red flag.

The second was our visit last night. Party of 4, place was very empty. Waitress brought out food order for the parents at the table. 20 minutes later we asked the receptionist to check on our food as the waitress didn’t say anything about waiting on the other 2 orders, one being just a pretzel for a small child. The remaining order was eventually brought out after the parents were finished eating. No apology, no explanation. The food has always just been mediocre however after our visit last night and receiving such poor service we’ve decided to move on from this location.

Ate here for the first time recently, sat outside. They have an indoors that opens to the outdoors, which is really nice, though we were off to the side near the road so the ambiance there wasn't great. My son had the pork carnitas tacos and loved them. Both kids had slushees, which you don't ordinarily see at a pub. Only minor issue was the waitress brought the food out without utensils, so we're left staring at our food as it's cooling until she came back. But overall we enjoyed our meal and will be back.

Yardwork IPA was very good. The best part of the experience. The table needed a wipe down. The waitress offered us a new dirty table nearby. She said she would be back with a bar rag. We stopped by this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated immediately which was fantastic. Our server was fantastic! He provided great info on the menu drink and food options and was both friendly and attentive to our table. The wine choices were minimal but their specialty is Beer so that is to be expected. The drink options for craft cocktails are plentiful as they have a full service bar. Our meals were great! We had the Buttermilk Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich. This comes with a side, but we added appetizers too. (The truffle fries and cheese curds were outstanding). It was a lot of food. We left with boxes. I have to say that crispy chicken sandwiches are harder than people think to get right. I personally HATE soggy breading. I also HATE dried out overcooked meat.No worries on either of those things here. My chicken sandwich was perfection. The breading was flavorful and chrispy, yet the meat was tender. My side salad was large too for a side salad too. The prices ere great too given the value and quality overall. McTwindom LLC gives this place a 5 out of 5. We went there to celebrate family birthdays; what a mistake! First, and last, time for all six of us. First, it was a Tuesday night and, unbeknownst to us, trivia night. I Paid 43.00 dollars then gave the bartender a 20 dollar cash tip because I hadn’t been out in so long due to having a baby and was tipsy. I checked my bank statement and saw that they took it upon themselves to take another 13 dollars as a tip. I called and in the process of being refunded but at the end of the day they stole from me and I will be telling everyone I know. If I stole a 13.00 item from a store I would be arrested. The fact that you took advantage of someone like that is inexcusable.

Our party of 5 came in on a Saturday night, we were quickly seated and greeted by our server. They were great with answering questions and providing options. The cheese curds were on point, crispy coating and squeaky cheese. The menu offers WI favorites while also providing several options like Falafel Platter which was really quite good and plentiful. The burgers were really good but thicker than what I would consider “smash” style. The chicken Caesar wrap was full and flavorful as well. The cauliflower tacos held a welcomed hit of heat. Most recent visit - tried the steak salad. Steak was cooked perfectly! The Bleu cheese dressing was exceptional.

Update 1/12/23: the Cobb salad is beautifully composed. The dressing wasn't my favorite but not the worst. The current mango sour, papaya sour, and maple bourbon aged stout are all spectacular beers!

The fenced-in yard area is a gamechanger for families with children. It's a lovely place to sit outside and enjoy a meal and a brew. I ordered the special burger of the day and after 3 attempts they still couldnt bring the burger i ordered....Be prepared to wait on the waitstaff as they rarely check on tables and instead converse with each other at the bar. They USE to have fabulous salad options with actual greens (spinach, arugula, mixed, etc.) AND veggies (beets, cucumbers, beans, nuts, etc.). They were great withOUT the additional meat toppings. Of course, those were switched out to ceasar and taco salad. For a health conscious bike stop along the trail, they have one vegan option (I think the bean burger uses cheese as binder). I'm just sad they lost their creative veggie menu for beef, beef, pork.

Beer is pretty good. Rotation happens often. If you like one, go back quickly. I like most of the light, not-to-hoppy beers.

Tator tots and Sweet potato fries are "sides" for burgers, but you can't find them on the "appetizers." Ask and they will get it for you. They are cooked right: mushy inside, crunchy outside.

Space is great: Outside and inside, tables or bar seating, beer cooler for pick up, merch, and lots TVs. Ask for a menu if your phone can't read QR codes on a beer can curve.

Overall, it's good, but we won't be back until we can eat something. I can get the beer at a grocery store!

Beer was ok, not a lot of selections for a brew pub. Chicken sandwich was just ok as well, chicken only took up about half of the bun, and it wasn’t a big bun, plus it was way overcooked. You would think they would read the reviews and adjust their food service, but seems the same bad reviews forever.

Went for Drag bingo which I usually love, but me and the rest of my party ordered food as well, and they sat us at a tiny table, mind you all 4 of us got food&drinks. They handed food out in the middle of a bingo round, and because they put food on lunch trays for presentation, it took up all the space at the table, like we couldn’t even fit everyone’s food on the table because of the trays. They didn’t offer to move us to a bigger table, I ended up spilling my $12 drink everywhere and was still charged for it, and the staff just sat there and watched us try to clean up the mess, didn’t offer to help, nothing. Kept trying to hand us the rest of the trays instead of helping with the huge spill. Another customer ended up helping and staff never did. I get that events like this can be busy, but the customer service was just awful. Plus it was super overpriced 🙃 I plan on never returning after this awful experience 😡

Do you like IPAs, horrible service, and mediocre food?Those are the questions you should ask yourself before visiting Hop Haus' Fitchburg location.

Usually there a few non-IPA beers that are good on the menu, and some surprisingly good mixed drinks. However, past that, I can't think of anything else positive.

I've been here a total of four times, twice for just drinks (on the more expensive side, but good beers and cocktails), and I've eaten here twice.

The food is mediocre and bad value, over $10 for a Mac and cheese? Over $10 for a single 3" diameter burger? These things can be forgiven if the food is good. Readers, the food is not good. It is mediocre at best. My first time I had the burger, it was tiny, and barely tasted of meat under all the questionable toppings, the Mac and cheese tasted of Velveeta and sadness. We ordered truffle fries, because the serving sizes were so small, I didn't expect over a tablespoon of oil left in the basket from the fries.

Service was great, once. Two times it was ok, and most recently it was trash. The waitress ignored our table almost completely. We tried waiving her down, but she was too interested in talking to other employees to actually serve our table. One of the members of our table didn't receive his food till long after the rest of us, and they tried to charge use twice for his meal. I say "us" because we had to send our check back three times because it was incorrect (we were in a group that explicitly stated up front we'd need split checks). It included extra meals and extra drinks, after the third time we eventually paid an incorrect check just to end it.

I don't think we'll be coming here again, after funk's closed we wanted a close by place to grab drinks and food after work but this is definitely not it.

We've been here before and it has been good... but we went today and the portions were small, sad, and overpriced. Mac n cheese was small portion for the price, and we also got a Philly cheese steak sandwich which was mostly bread. My friend ordered cheeseburger/fries for $12 and it was basically a happy meal. Service and beer was fine. Not sure what is going on there right now, but today was depressing.

Tasty food. Really enjoyed the grilled cheese. Burgers looked good. Sweet potato waffle fries were delicious and fun! (Wasn’t informed there was an up charge for them) Service was so-so. Lots of open space for seating which was nice to not feel on top of other groups. Fun place for darts.
