We were visiting the area while on vacation. We had been traveling and hitting some attraction on out way to the area. We wanted something quick and casual. The service was fairly quick and food OK. I got the Italian Beef. I was surprised that the charge extra for the peppers and onions. It didn't quite stack up to the Italian beef sandwich that we have back home but it wasn't bad and it was a large sandwich.

Food is always great!! Love the dogs and burgers. Normally I’d give the service a 5 but the last time I was there in July they were closing at 8:00!! One of the busiest tourist locations in the country and you close at 8:00?? A couple groups came in at 7:45 and they wouldn’t open up the front seating area because it had been cleaned so people were standing to eat. I rushed my food down so a family with kids could sit down. Staff seemed quite annoyed they would be late getting out that night. Sorry but I’m pretty sure they lost all the standing customers forever. I guess that’s today’s attitude. Stay late!!!! It won’t kill you to serve your paying customers an extra 15 minutes!!

Not worth the price in my opinion. At glance it is cheap. But once you order, I don't know if it was just the person that we got who does not know how to combine stuff so it is all in meals but EVERYTHING is paid for separately. We paid $0.40 for a Mayo pack..... in the end it was 20 bucks a person for something that does not taste as good as even mcdonalds... edit to the reply, we did not order 3 appetizers. Honestly it is expensive and the quality just was not there. I am 1000% willing to fork out money on good food but this just was not it. Maybe it was a bad batch of fries 🤷‍♀️ I see you have a lot of good reviews and that is why we went! We wish you well.

We went here around noon on our way back to Illinois. We got threw orders of the gyro meals and one cheese burger meal. The gyros were absolutely delicious and not grease like most places. We got a significant amount of meat, which was awesome, and the fries were pretty good too. My little shared the burger as it was pretty big. Dad and I stole a little bite and it was just as good as Portillos if you know you KNOW. I love small places like this, chill, always coming in clutch with amazing food and the cashier was an absolute sweetheart. I almost wanna make the trip just for the gyros 🤤

Watch out for being overcharged. They tried to charge my senior citizen brother $15 for a $9.25 sandwich. When he asked why a $10 sandwich was $15 the girl didn't know what to say. So he said cancel it. He had ordered an italian beef sandwich, "just the sandwich" and with no extras. Restaurant tax rate is 6.75% in the Dells, not 50%. And $14.57 isn't enough $ for their italian beef sandwich "meal" either - so it couldn't have been a simple mistake like that.
This was the 2nd Dells business that tried overcharging us today so they didn't get much chance to fix it.

The max well polish is not the same polish from Maxwell and the onions on it doesn’t take like nor look the part either, the gyro is a H NO, the Italian bee combo tasted like the sausage only, the fee has no flavor or salt to it and the sausage was not charred with flavor.. cheese sticks are frozen but yet lack taste. We are here for automotion and we legit just parked, a go cart guy and a guy guarding the parking lot saw us park and we just looked at the street to see the cars before we were going inside to eat. Ordered the Green Bay Dog expecting it to be topped with melted cheddar cheese like the menu claims. Received a ridiculously soggy hot dog overflowing with nacho cheese. Requested a refund for the two hot dogs we ordered and the girl at the counter insisted nacho cheese was the same thing as cheddar cheese (despite nacho cheese being listed as a separate condiment on the menu) and refused to give us a refund. They are killing it at Hot Dog Avenue. We've been in the Dells for a week and Hot Dog Avenue & Monk's are the only places who have their shit together. They check all the boxes. I had Itailian beef, I lived in Chicago for a time and I was very happy with it. My husband had the Chicago dog and was very happy and satisfied, he's a big boy.
