Tried out the sashimi chef special, and we think it’s the best fresh sashimi in the area. Juan stopped by to check on our order and experience, and shared his desire to continue to have the best fresh fish flown in multiple times a week, which is hard to come by in the Midwest. He was very caring to check on all the guests- way to go! We’ll be back again and again to try new items. Great cocktail list, with wine and sake too. Many many unique rolls and traditional options outside of rolls. Even vegan and veggie! Bartenders Brian and Pepe were great and entertaining hosts 😊.

The vibe of this place is super cool and they have an extensive cocktail menu as well as happy hour and lunch specials.

The presentation of the food was lovely, however, the taste (for me) was kind of MEH. It was fine, nothing special. The mushroom soup had very mushrooms and the sushi was OK.

I think the prices are a little too high comparatively.

I just recently tried Hot Sake for the first time and it was a wonderful experience.
To start the staff was very friendly and accomodating and the location is very nice and relaxing.
The menu has items for everybody, so it is also great for families.
I personally tried a few different types of sushi and some skewers of beef and it was an absolute joy. You can see the love of the craft in their dishes with fresh high quality ingredients and a presentation that lures you through your eyes.
I recommend Hot Sushi to everyone and will return for sure, it is my favorite sushi restaurant in the area EASILY!

We were greated and taken to our table by a VERY friendly gentleman. He later asked our and other tables how everything was. Later we found out he was the owner. I have been searching so long for a Sushi spot that hit the spot! After living in San Diego and having endless Sushi options there just hasn't been anything that has been as fresh and fun as the sushi on the west coast until now.
I have had everything from small quiet lunches with my toddler, large group events, to take-out and have been greatly accommodated each time. Current favorite roll is of course, the Hot Sake Roll.

Awesome place! It is not an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, but the quality is outstanding. Their amazing service perfectly complements their exotic and modern fusion flavors.

I had a salmon dish with a miso glaze sauce—it felt like a continental explosion of flavors. They also offer a selection of sushi rolls; in my case, I ordered the new The King Shrimp, which was an indescribable delight with the crispy touch of fried shrimp.

Wow! I didn't expect to love this place as much as I do! I've been burned by pay-by-the-roll places before where it's expensive and I don't leave full. I still wanted to try Hot Sake because they're a local business for me. While the prices are on par with other places, the amount of food, the taste, and the presentation blow those other restaurants out of the water. I was only there for a quick lunch, but I **highly** recommend the Hot Sake roll!

The staff was very friendly with the right amount of service. I'm pretty sure the owner was there too, asking how our experience was. He was so friendly and wanted us to have a good meal.

I remember when this location used to be the Townline Pub and Grill - you would never know it now. The inside is very elegant, modern, and obviously well maintained.

Our sever Alicia was amazing! It was our first time at Hot Sake tonight and she was very friendly announcing all the fan favorites and her personal favorite sushi item. We ordered 5 sushi rolls: Ichiban, Veracruz, surf and turf, Smokey salmon, and the hot sake roll. All were amazing. My husband’s number 1 pick was the Ichiban. Stopped by for a dinner on Thursday night. First, manager was reluctant to seat us since they were not busy and was going to close in about 40min. After sitting us at the bar, we order sashimi and add’l items a la carte.
EXTREMELY overpriced place!
The fish wasn’t fresh. $7 for sushi rice, $9 for small sheets of seaweed, and tiny pieces of sashimi. The bartender girl was nice, but it seems the owner wanted to make up the register balance at the expense of late-night customers. It left a bad taste! I won’t be coming back."

I've been to this restaurant 3 times now, it has become my favorite restaurant in Green Bay! The sushi is fantastic, the fish quality is amazing. The fish is delivered in small quantities twice a week, and it shows because the flavor is so fresh and good. The fish doesn't taste fishy at all, just really good; I highly recommend the hamachi. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and comfortable; there's great lighting, a bar area, a sushi bar area, and two dining areas with booths. The staff is friendly and you can tell that the owner really cares about the quality and experience of the guests. The owner was telling me that he spent many years on the East Coast learning how to make sushi and has taken his knowledge to Green Bay to start this restaurant. I'm glad they did! I love this restaurant and I plan on coming back often!

Every sushi roll we ordered was excellent! Ichiban roll was especially good. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable. The manger/owner made sure to check on us more than once without feeling forced or overt. I would highly recommend checking them out now during the construction as it was easy to get a table. This is by far the best Sushi in the entire Green Bay/Fox Valley Area hands down. A friend and I were there this evening and not only was the food fresh and amazing, but the owner Juan and his entire staff went above and beyond. We were at the bar and Juan came by and introduced himself after we had our dinner, which was the best ever. He bought us one of his famous margarita's which was incredible. I know that there is construction in the area and many people who are visiting Green Bay, WI are in the stadium district. I promise you the drive to this place is worth it. By far the absolute worst Asian food in the area. I have no idea what people are talking about in these reviews. The food was tasteless and greasy. The prices they charge for the quality you get is insane. Go to little Tokyo or even festivals sushi and you will have by far a better taste experience.

We ordered sake, they gave us wine and when we declined because it was wrong they fought us to pay for it. Also, they have tacos on the menu, I’m a fool for that not being an immediate red flag.

Such an amazing experience! The owner is so involved and is great at customer service. The presentation is everything! The service is beyond incredible! As someone with celiac disease I cannot say how amazing it is to have their gluten free menu and have such attention to detail. The owner knew I was gluten free and even brought me a gluten free sauce. The food is fresh, beautiful, and delightfully flavorful. This was our third time there and each time keeps getting better. We had a party of 10 for a birthday party and we had refills and anything else we needed within minutes. Exceptional!

In case you were like us, wondering if there’s an all you can eat price like at other sushi places, there is not. We ended up paying over 100 dollars for only 4 rolls of sushi. Cozy new spot in Howard. The restaurant has a warm and inviting feel to it. There is traditional seating, and the option for the sushi bar seating. Full bar a nice plus. My husband and I had reservations at another local restaurant, which were cancelled last minute by the restaurant due to overbooking for Valentine’s Day. We decided to check out Hot Sake instead.

Although the restaurant was very busy, we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was very nice - upscale casual. Place was clean, lighting was appropriate, decor fit the theme.

Our server was very friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly, and our sushi rolls had excellent combinations of flavors. Price was in line with what we expect from a decent sushi place.

The only two “complaints” I have were the mushroom soup lacked salt/flavor, and our table was close to the door so it was often cold as people came in and out. VERY minor things. Overall, excellent experience. We will be back!

I’ve done every sushi place in Green Bay, Ashwaubenon and Depere… this is HANDS DOWN the best sushi in the area. SO fresh and you can tell they spend time on each roll. Not only was it amazing, but the service too! The owner even came and spent time with us, he is so kind and has a passion for his product he receives in and his customers. Highly recommend the Ichiban roll and the Veracruz roll.

Was very busy and loud we waited like 10 minutes before anyone even stopped at our table to even ask if someone had helped us yet we then finally got drinks and a appetizer which was pretty good kinda pricey then we ordered 2 different sushi rolls which took about and hour to get and it was a very small portion and my husbands roll looked nothing like other pictures I’ve seen it was good but not good for as long as we had to wait

It’s a shame that I couldn’t rate based on price because that was the only down fall, but it was a big one. My friend and I enjoy a couple glasses of wine with dinner, but $14 a glass for a nice, not great light pour is a bit steep. Also, the “good” rolls were $20 plus and my husband can eat 2 rolls. Again, the food was great but the prices made this a special occasion only place. Unfortunate because we were excited to have a good sushi place that we could visit a times a month.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this sushi haven, and it was fantastic! The service was excellent, with very friendly staff and attentive management. The food was delicious; you could tell right away the freshness of the ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised by the “Surf and Turf Roll” I've never had tenderloin and scallops in sushi before, and this roll did not disappoint. It was well-balanced, and I wasn't expecting it to be so delicious. By far, my favorite roll ever. If you're a sushi enthusiast seeking a memorable dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Good for Green Bay area. When compared to sushi places elsewhere does not justify the price. Too much rice, too little fish. Please have your buyer look for a better tasting rice. I added a picture. Is that rice inside rice? I'm a bit spoiled by large cities competitive atmosphere, but when you charge $20 for sushi, elsewhere, you can count on top of the line thing.
