The staff at Hotel Marshfield are incredibly kind and considerate people. We stayed here for a week while my girlfriend’s dad recovered from surgery and they were extremely accommodating when we had to extend our stay repeatedly. One night, the hotel was entirely booked up and when we returned the following night, they remembered us and made sure to get us ground floor rooms next to each other like we had previously had. We had two dogs with us and they were kind to the dogs as well. Cannot say enough good things about the incredible staff here.

This is a really great hotel. It's very clean & even though the building is older, the renovations were very well done. Way better than most.
The courtyard is great, 2 hot tubs with water features & a pool(the pool was closed when i was there, which makes sense, it's April). The sauna, however, is mostly for looks. It just doesn't get hot & has a snarky warning on the door about not letting it "cool down" between uses.
The only other thing that was less than ideal was the elevator. The building is a big open square & there's one elevator at the far end from the front desk. I just took the stairs.
Other than those minor things, it's great & I enjoyed my time there.

The Hotel Marshfield was a pleasant place to stay while we were in the area. I’ve seen another review that mentioned a smell they couldn’t place - I noticed a smell too but I looked at my husband and said it smells clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious, including the continental breakfast. Each and everyone of the staff was friendly and kind. The water Friday was infused with pineapple and strawberries and was so flavorful and refreshing. We LOVED the poem in honor of Lula the elevator! Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

It's way out in the middle of nowhere. I was there for a workshop on the coldest days of the year. They can't change the location but this is an amazing little hotel that understands the value of his customer service! The room was clean, comfy, and well equipped. The staff was friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you were taken care of. Even my service dog was feeling at home and treated with dignity.. I would definitely go here again if I'm ever way out in no-man's-land!

The water in the lobby don't really taste like anything. Even with the fruit in it. The shower chairs for disabled needs to be more sturdy and adjustable. I was in so much pain by time I got done using it because it was tiny and hurting my back. The pool area outside. Is not really usable in the winter?
Maybe close it in so snow can get in. And make the handicap accessible rooms only one bed instead of 2. So there's more room to move around.

Just returned home from a weekend trip to that hotel. The room was spacious and fairly updated. It had a distinct odor that after 3 days I still can’t identify.
The pool had a bunch of dirt in it.
The hotel restaurant/bar were NOT open all of Sunday. What? I have never heard of a hotel restaurant or bar being closed on a weekend day. Not convenient at all. Also not hardly any guests but surprisingly we were mostly all lumped together in rooms at the same side/part of the hotel. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast.

What a wonderful experience we recently had at Hotel Marshfield. We were just passing through the area and needed a pet friendly hotel. Not only did they graciously accept our giant breed but all the human amenities were fabulous too. The service we experienced at the front desk and ordering room service was friendly and efficient. The food was tasty (we particularly enjoyed the cheese curds, quesedilla and caramel white russians!) Our room was very clean and spacious, as well as updated. This hotel was a pleasant surprise tucked in the outskirts of Marshfield. Everything was beyond our expectation.
Room, Bathroom: clean, comfortable & spacious. Loved the bar soap!
Restaurant: free morning breakfast was good, and included some healthy options.
Lunch & Dinner: offered a nice variety of meals. My fav lunch was chicken quesadilla. Service was good - Danielle was our fav. Ask for her table. We enjoyed the live music (one night each week.) Bar: great service with a smile! Juan loves bartending and it shows. He will take good care of you.
Pool & Hot tubs: what a surprise. Beautiful, relaxing, pool/patio area. Was a little chilly during our extended stay so didn't use the pool, but hot tubs with waterfalls were nice. Oh, & there's an outdoor sauna.
Washer with soap, Dryer provided. A real plus! We used it several times. And there's no cost.
Staff: The Best!! We want to extend a special thank you to the front desk staff: Rick, Vickie &: Kevin who went out of their way to help make our extended stay much easier. They always greeted us by name, helped celebrate my husband's birthday, gave recommendations for restaurants, grocery & clothes shopping, alternate transportation, directions, computer & printing help, and so much more. Than you.
Housekeeping was very good. Just remember to put tag on door if you want bed made up, fresh towels. We appreciated the hotel's effort to go green.

We can't say enough about this hotel. Please make it your choice when staying in the Marshfield area, or planning an event (they have nice event spaces.)

Roehl…. Everything was good there were no issues. But there was this one woman I think she was a room attendant with short black curly hair, possible streaks of white, short, skinny. Possible 60s or more older she was a little rude to me on my last day there, seems she had a little attitude. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Marshfield. I enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast that had plenty of variety. I used the hot tub and sauna which was great. As it was winter the outdoor pool was closed for the season. They also had a complimentary laundry room where I could wash items before heading out to my next location which was very convenient and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the front desk staff was very helpful in resolving a small issue with my room that came up. The hotel was very busy with holiday events the days I was there, but the event space was turned over quickly and all of the staff were in good spirits. I would happily stay here again next time I come to town.

Let me start by saying, I'm not a person who typically writes a lot of reviews, but Hotel Marshfield's service was above and beyond. If I could could give 10/5 stars, I absolutely would. We had our out of state reception here and the staff (HUGE shout out to Jessica) was absolutely wonderful. I cannot say enough about them.
They made the entire process a breeze. And with doing everything almost entirely remote, that was such a blessing.
Jessica was a delight to work with and answered all of our questions. And her turnaround time was fantastic. EVERY email was answered in under 2 hours. She was able to make any accommodations we needed and was so helpful with all of our requests.
The reception space itself looked so beautiful and we were able to customize the layout to exactly how we wanted it to look. They even let us set up our decorations the day before the wedding.
And they were so kind by giving me the wedding suite for the whole week of the wedding.
On top of that, for our friends and family coming into town, they even extended the block rate to anyone staying longer than the day of the rehearsal and wedding. SO generous. They absolutely went out of their way to make sure all of our guests were taken care of.
When my husband and I got back to our room after the reception, they had left champagne and strawberries for us with a note of congratulations. They are just the kindest and so thoughtful. That really meant a lot to us.
If you are looking for a wedding or reception space in central WI, this is your place. It was beautiful, fun, and very reasonably priced for all that you get.

What a gem! I can not wait to visit Hotel Marshfield again. My son, daughter & I drove my husband up there from Illinois to start his training with Roehl Transport. We were nervous not knowing what to expect, however we were treated so wonderfully that our fears were eased & we left 2 days later knowing that my husband was in good hands. The kids (grown kids lol) absolutely loved the hotel. It is a really beautiful hotel! You don’t expect it before you walk in, but what a lovely surprise! The kids were very comfortable & got some much needed rest. They loved the room service!

There aren't any fast food places within walking distance in an area consisting of mostly businesses, but a high quality restaurant is located conveniently within the hotel. The beds were hard as a rock. Very uncomfortable. We did not sleep well at all. Our fridge didn't work. We told the front desk. Someone was supposed to come look at it and replace it. No one ever did. We had to throw away all the yogurt and ranch dip we bought. Had to put veggies in my mom's fridge next door. The only reason we stayed here was because of my cousin's wedding. Will not stay here again in our next trip to town. Oh, and the food served at the wedding was DREADFUL! For the price they paid, it should've been much higher quality. Dry pasta with no sauce really and the pasta was all hard and rubbery. The Cesar salad was over dressed and the the dressing was disgusting. Straight mayo is all you could taste. Not impressed at all. Only have your wedding here if you hate your guests!
