I took my family here today, we all ordered breakfast. Everything came out cold, waffle wasn’t warm enough to even melt the butter, my wife’s crepes were cold, daughters gravy was room temp and when I asked for my half cooked bacon to be extra crispy like I ordered it came back burnt and rock hard. Our server was a very nice young lady and did the best she could with the situation. And on top of it all there was no manager on duty, they supposedly had to call them. Do not recommend.

We took the grandkids to the IHOP in New Berlin, WI for dinner. Our grandson ordered a cheeseburger and fruit. It didn't come with pickles, so we asked if he could have some pickles for his cheeseburger.

The waitress brought him some pickles, when we got the bill there was a charge of $.99 for jalapeño peppers. My wife told her we never had jalapeño peppers, she said that was for the pickles for the cheeseburger!!

First time I have ever heard of being charged for having pickles with your cheeseburger.

The food was good and the service excellent but the up-charge for the pickles was something else. I doubt we would eat there again after traveling 2 hours to get there.

I have been here 3 times before and never experienced the service I did today.
To describe it as “painful” is an understatement. The communication with the our waiter was extremely difficult and awkward.
Then to top it off he asks for our credit card before we see the receipt!! He tried giving us the reasoning, but at this point it was just pointless.
Then the payment receipt comes back and just says “dine in”.
No break down of the items ordered.
I couldn’t even see if I was charged for the hash browns I ordered and never received.
I’m sure if we had a different waiter. Our experience would’ve been completely different. But this young man needs to be retrained.

I'm not one to give bad reviews, I'm a pretty chill guy but here we go.

We walked in, took a few minutes to get seated. We were in a booth with menus and that was it.

We sat there for 15-20 mins and within that time there was no one coming to check on us. Not even glasses of water, nothing. And, it really wasn't busy at all.

The 2 hostesses were just standing there looking around. In fairness to the young blonde lady she didn't seat us, but the one who did didn't seem to alert anyone to come over to the table.

The food I can't rate cause we left. Not a typical move for me to just leave, but it was just not a good experience.

I’ve been to many IHOPs, this one is probably the best in Wisconsin. Tammy, our server, was incredible. Very kind, took amazing care and chatted/checked on us the perfect amount. Our first visit to this IHOP. It's been 10+years for me, since I've been in an IHOP.
It was a Friday morning at 930am - normally a very busy breakfast hour, but fairly quiet here. I do like a quiet spot though, for coffee and conversation so that's ok with me. The food is good(nothing 5 stars or amazing) but all it's all decent. My wife had a French Toast special that was only $6. My Eggs, Hash Browns, pancakes & Sirloin Tips with onions and mushrooms was $17. Good value. The Sirloin was tasty, done to order, and other elements of our breakfast meals were fine. If you're looking for a quieter, decent breakfast, to sip coffee, scroll on your phone or chat chat with your wife, partner, friend - this IHOP could be worth the trip.

Someone needs to remind the Spanish speaking staff that some English speakers understand Spansih as well. I can say that the atmosphere in that restaurant, from some employees perspective, is toxic. They complain about management, they complain about each other, they complain about customers. They complain in Spanish, but it's still vulgar speech and very unappealing to those of us who understand. Its actually pretty offensive if they think I don't understand just because I don't appear Hispanic.

Other than the foul language it wasn't too bad for an Ihop. around 830am on a Sunday and they place was pretty dead. Lazy staff still seated us right on top of the only other people in the restaurant. They also stood just 8 to 10 feet away and stared at us the whole time we were eating. I came to this New Berlin location expecting something other than the traditional "down market" Ihop experience... nope, this was just as bad if not worse. Go to Sunny Side Up Cafe in New Berlin instead. Better prices, better service, and much larger portions.

The food was ok for the price. Our service was good. Our waitress Connie was really nice and attentive. The problem with our visit was the 5 or 6 ihop ads that played on a constant loop over the speakers. No music, just the same ads on repeat. My kids, who are normally distracted by their electronics or the food, even complained about it. Other than that we enjoyed our visit. I will not go back unless they fix the ad issue.

I have been there twice now.
There is a male server. He must be related to a manager or owner. He walks around and does very little. Does not listen to what it is you order. And I would not categorize him as having customer service skills or experience or knowledge and how to be a server. He truly belongs at a McDonald's because he is nothing more than an order taker. Pancakes and ham are both wonderful. Atmospherics clean very nice Remodel. But this very young male server doesn't nothing for the restaurant.

I went to iHop on my Birthday and we had Devon as our server. He was beyond welcoming and kind to us the entire time and had the most amazing attitude the entire time despite being the only waiter on the floor at the time.

I have never EVER written a review before, but I just had to share the amazing experience I had when I came in, and you will definitely be seeing me again here and the other people that I recommend this iHop to.

Scrambled eggs so/so. Hash browns were not browned much at all and lacked flavor and no crisp. Bacon so overdone it was shriveled up. Toast (sourdough) was dry with no flavor. No jam at table. Seems as if food is done ahead and then warmed up? I don't know. If they could improve, I would love to come a lot because the place is attractive and staff is great.

IHOP seems to struggle here in Wisconsin. With 2 new locations on Moorland in Brookfield and New Berlin we decided to give it a shot. Our server walked us thru the menu. Pointed out the Happy Hour menu which is available 3pm - 9pm. With some decent choices we went that route. I fed my daughter and I for under $17. I can't do that at Taco Bell. Food came out quick. It was hot. Our server asked us to tell our friends. We went on a Saturday night. It wasn't busy at all.

So happy this place opened a while back...we frequent this location because it's closer than any other ihop. Food has never disappointed us (although sometimes the hashbrowns are more hashwhites and could stand to stay on the grill a little longer). That has never impacted our experience. Will still be stopping by after the new one in brookfield opens. [Update: this place still knocks it out of the park consistently. Morning of my child’s bday, I’m going to get her a happy face combo for breakfast, order online, drive 15-20 to pick it up, get there and they have a young girl up front who can’t make eye contact (weird) but ok, drive 15-20 back home, my order is wrong and the happy face combo was RAW! So I call and get Juan, Juan is very hard to speak to because of a dialect, I figure out he won’t give a refund until he sees the food, drive another 15-20 back, when I get there, Juan is so upset he’s physically shaking and upset (which was mildly scary). Another employee is preaching the Bible to me and the normal employees are all rolling their eyes. Juan couldn’t get me new food or a refund and I ended up losing money out of it but IHOP needs it more than I do, some very unhinged employees here, mainly Juan (he’s blading badly). It’s like the twighlight zone of breakfast places. Put Juan in the back, not fit to be around people.

I was very disappointed, with the services. I was very heated. My order was not completed, my order was not correctly taken. I had to wait for the second order to be completed, while the first order was siting in the front getting cold. Every other customers was being taken care of, before me. I couldn't even pay for my food, because no one could stop and even ask me if I had been taken care of completely. Manager didn't come to the front to apologize for the inconvenience. Just a note to the waitress, if a customer is pissed don't ask that person " YOUR STILL HERE!" in a joking manner. 😡😡

This was our third time giving them a try, and it was the worst experience out of the three. Tables that were seated after us received their food well before us, and the waitress finally noticed we had no food yet And went to check on our order. It still took about another 10 minutes until she came back with it, not sure if she never entered the order or if the kitchen over looked it. The hash browns were under cook and barely room temperature, the two pieces of bacon must have been from a very small pig, the wheat toast was white toast, but the eggs were ok. I let her know about the toast and she went to get the correct order but came back and said they were out of wheat. The mister orders Nashville hot chicken and waffles, but they had no Nashville hot sauce so it was just chicken and waffles. I do believe this will be out last meal at the I-hop, there are much better places to spend our money.

Ordered t-bone steak and eggs. The eggs were suppose to be scrambled easy but, were not. Eggs tasted like powdered eggs. Steak was way over cooked, very tough. I had to ask another waiter to get our waitress. He ended up taking care of the steak by getting me a new one. Second steak was cooked just like the first. I like mine medium rare,which I stressed both times, not over cooked. Our waitress never came over to see how the meal was. When I went to pay, they didn't like I was paying with cash. Wanted me to use debit card (don't have) or credit card. Because of the trouble using cash I will not be eating here in the future.
