I primarily come for the buffet, which is excellent. The staff is always super nice and helpful and welcoming, it's just a really great experience having a meal here.

This is also a very kid-friendly place. They have always been so nice to my kids, and it makes me feel very welcome. It's also my kids favourite restaurant, iddlies and fish pakoras please!

The two times we had dinner there the food was absolutely fantastic, they even made mine extra extra spicy like I asked! Most places assume you don't really mean it, even if you're really insistent, and it's nice to find somewhere that believes me when I say make it extra extra spicy :)

This is my all time favourite Indian place in town, so for whatever it's worth I think you should try it.

Have been coming here for about 6 months, and the food is always delicious. The dinners for two are a great value, and the menu is vast with many options for all dietary types. Definitely worth exploring some unfamiliar dishes.
The ambiance is warm and intimate while still being a larger dining room with seating to accommodate large families or parties. The fireplace is a lovely touch, as well as the decor and beautiful music.
The service is always exceptional, and the staff friendly. Reshma especially always goes above and beyond and recognizes us upon entering the building.
Overall, probably the best indian food in the milwaukee area and well worth the visit.

We go to India Garden for special occasions. Last time we went the food was horrible. We ordered only basic items like fried rice and curry. When asked they said the main chef was not available. We gave them the benefit of doubt and went again yesterday and ordered Veg Fried rice and Chilli Paneer. The vegetables in the fried rice were not cooked and the chilli paneer was red in color (food coloring) and had diluted schezwan sauce with some half cooked paneer and veggies. Both items tasted very bad and we were unable to eat. It tasted as if someone who has no idea about cooking has made it. I do not recommend India Garden for anyone, at least do not go on Tuesdays. Looks like the back up chef is not trained. They should consider keeping the restaurant closed if the main chef is not available.

recently had the pleasure of dining at India Garden, and words can hardly capture how delightful the experience was. We ordered a combo meal, initially expecting modest portions since it was labeled for two. To our surprise, it was more than enough to satisfy three of us with plenty left over.

The generous portions were complemented by the delicious flavors, though some dishes could have used a touch more salt. The ambiance of the restaurant was captivating, featuring calming ambient lighting and soothing background music that added to the overall pleasant atmosphere.

Service was exceptional—attentive and friendly staff made us feel truly welcome. However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the Rasmalai. It was, without exaggeration, one of the best I’ve ever had, leaving a lasting impression.

Also we had all this food for 60$ which is really good prices!

I now understand why this restaurant comes so highly recommended on Reddit and by others. If you're looking for not just a meal but a memorable dining experience, I strongly encourage you to support this fantastic establishment!

I just wanted to thank you for the delicious take out we picked up this evening to celebrate my Mom's 72nd birthday.  We have not had many Indian dishes in the past but are adventurous when trying new things.  We got the Lamb Moglai and the Goat Malabar along with some appetizers.  We are hooked!!!! I had the Malai Kabob, which is chicken with vegetables. It was delicious. The chicken was so tender and seasoned so well that it barely even tasted like chicken, which to me, was a very good thing.

The service, from what i can remember, was fine. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Nothing special about the service, though. Nothing terrible about it either so I can't really dock them for that.

The atmosphere was lovely. It was more formal than I was expecting. It was also a little on the dark side, which I like. I think this restaurant deserves more business than it appears to get. It's in kind of a low-traffic location. I'd definitely go back. Give it a try sometime!

We wanted a nice place, with good food, good service and a nice atmosphere, a quiet place where we could talk and enjoy our time together as we celebrated.

India Garden immediately came to mind.

Their food is delicious, their servers are excellent and very friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant and conducive to conversation.

We made a reservation for and were given a cozy booth.

Our waiter Ash did a great job taking care of us.

and the non-vegetarian combo was delicious.

and the background music was lovely.

What a great restaurant :-) Large selection of food and a great selection of vegetarian dishes. The food was tasty with fresh ingredients and the naan bread was soft,fluffy and piping hot. The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Will be returning :-)

So insanely nice inside. Didn't know what to expect from the quality of food. Was recommended to get the butter chicken. It did not disappoint. This place is above 5 stars. Food is unmatched. Atmosphere is above and beyond.

Our whole family loves this place. My 8 year old requests it for special occasions and everyone says "this is so good, mom" as they eat. A great place that even though you might leave the buffet stuffed, you don't leave with that icky feeling when eating junk. Everything is fresh and the flavors are on point.

I have been here and had take out a number of times. The food is great. They have portions large enough that you will have extra to take home. Fantastic flavor and nice people working here. 10/10 would recommend. As another note, one of our family members was an elder with a walker. There was a nice ramp and enough space to navigate. It was very welcoming.
