I am very delighted to have chose this place as my after church Sunday lunch. The buffet has everything that I totally enjoyed. I knew this was all vegetarian, so I knew that going in, and I still had 2 full plates. Yummy yummy. If I was to ever become a vegetarian, this would be the way id do it.

I don’t know what happened here, but this restaurant has gone from “five-star feast” to “mystery box challenge.” A year or two ago, I’d brag about this place to friends...“best Indian food in town!” But lately? Not so much.
The last three times I ordered, it felt like the chef just shrugged and said, “Eh, good enough.” Spoiled sauce container (you know it’s bad when it blows up like a balloon 🎈), food that tastes like it’s been sitting a long time, and zero love in the cooking. I kept ordering anyway like a toxic relationship...hoping it would go back to the good old days. Spoiler: it hasn’t.

Very disappointed with the halwa I bought. It had a strong smell and taste of onions — completely ruined the dessert. It seems like the same utensils were used for cooking savory dishes. Total waste of money and definitely not coming back.

Recently, I ordered dosa over the phone and they said it will take 15-20 minutes. I went there in 25 minutes and the lady at the counter asked me to wait for another 10 minutes since the food was not ready. I waited there for another 15 minutes and then they said that they don't have a person to cook dosa and told me to order something else. I didn't order anything and came back. I'm not saying any bad thing about the food, but please respect other's time and don't lie.

So we had lunch buffet here and every curry is bland, the salt on the table is rock hard, i agree there is a full course i.e, curries, naans, fryums, rice and desserts, but the harsh truth is EVERYTHING IS BLAND, desserts are better, without good food there is no point of good atmosphere and service as per me🫡

Love that they are a vegetarian only restaurant! Took a recommendation from the host to get the Peanut Butter Masala (comes with rice), Garlic naan, Mango lassi, & a Pistachio sweet treat.
The reason 5 stars wasn’t given, is solely because I felt the Masala was missing something along with the Pistachio dessert (I might just have a sweeter tooth) but I’ll definitely be returning to try other dishes because they do have a lunch buffet & I saw they have Kulfi which I didn’t get to order this time. Also, the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous… the outside does not do it justice but once you walk in… beautiful!

had lunch buffet and it was all vegetarian food (good for us). liked the so much variety in food, indian pickle was so tasty but all curry were bland in taste. looks like they were short staffed as no one came to clean the plates but i liked the restaurant vibe and pleasant ambiance… find it clean and hygienic… and loved the fresh sweets… the whole indian sweets stacks up reminded me of india….

Best stuffed parathas!
We have tried almost all type of parathas from their menu. We love Muli, Aaloo, Onion, and Gobhi the most. Now it’s our go to place for stuffed parathas. Chhole Bhature was delicious too.
Try once and you will go back again for it 😋

Vegetarian buffet -- I found it expensive when you can get a full buffet including fish, different meats, soup, desserts, for the same price at many other Indian restaurants in the area. Having said that, the dishes I tried were tasty. Service was indifferent at best, they don't even put a napkin and silverware on the table for you, you have to pick it up at the buffet and juggle it along with your food. People (owners? managers?) standing right in front of the lady's room so you cannot get in and out without negotiating a crowd of people. Decor decidedly lacking. Very cold temperature in the restaurant. I will not be returning.

Chaats are typically made with Kabuli chana (garbanzo beans), especially when ordered from restaurants. However, when I ordered recently, they used kala chana (black chickpeas) instead. I find this really frustrating—why do some places cut corners to save money rather than offering good quality food to their customers?

A couple of us went on Sunday and had the buffet. It's kind of an odd location in a strip mall just north of Drexel. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful in explaining the difference options available and how to use them together. I'm not usually a fan of a pure vegetarian buffet but they did the food justice and there were some going flavors. It's not that I dislike vegetarian dishes I just like having the options open. My friends seemed to like it even more than I did.

Been here many times. The food is reallly good, and is the best Indian restaurant in Milwaukee according to me. I have deep respect for the owner, to open a Pure Vegetarian Indian restaurant in Milwaukee, with amazing quality, a lot of quantity, and ranging from snacks to a full delicious meal. One highlight not mention in the options below is Paneer Tikka( reaaaly good). Almost everything here is good, and their buffet is just unbelievable. They also make fresh paneer and curd as well as make sure that what they serve is eggless. I hope this restaurant some day becomes a hub for Indian food in Milwaukee , but for me and my family, it’s already a favorite.

This is a neat little veg only family run Indian restaurant. Inside the restaurant, they have fresh mango lassi, fresh Dahi, several different namkeen and sweets behind a glass counter Indian style. We have ordered the South IndianThali several times, and it is super tasty and homely. Lunch buffet is also very good. They also have a small tent at the Drexel Square summer farmers market on Saturdays.

Went there on 5/19/24. The place was busy. Had to wait a while to get the menu. Only one menu was provided for two people.
We ordered vegetable Chow Mein (medium spice level) and a Special Thali.
Took a long time for the first item (Cow Mein) to come out.
It turned out to be extra spicy and we could eat only half of it.
Thali took a lot longer and only the naan wax warm. Everything else was cold.
When we complained about the spices of the Chow Mein, the server gave us flimsy reasons.
Overall not a good experience

One of the BEST PLACES I ever ate. I come from Washington DC and have been to hundreds of Indian restaurants but not a match with this restaurant which beats Quality, Taste, Simplicity and Fresh food !!
Delicious , Fresh, just like Home food. When I say home food it’s light, not heavy or greasy but still has restaurant taste.
Ordered Thali, Buttermilk, Dosa, Paratas. All of them were excellent !!

I'll start by saying I am NOT vegetarian, but because of my wife's love of Eastern Indian cuisine I decided (was forced) to give it a try. And man, am I glad WE did!!
We went on a Sunday for the buffet and I was pleasantly surprised!! The buffet was sufficiently supplied but not overly packed. Each entree was seasoned well but not over the top spicy, for someone like me who is not a spicy eater. Each item I tried was prepared to perfection. Prepared so well that I did not even miss the chicken in the buttered chicken!
The dining area was nice as well. Looks like a relatively new seating area and very accommodating.
Will definitely be back again!

The lunch buffet at this Indian vegetarian restaurant offered a decent variety of dishes. The flavors were generally good, with some standout items that were flavorful and well-spiced like the paneer butter masala and the mixed veg. However, there were a few dishes that fell short in terms of taste and freshness mostly in the desert selections, the jelebi was mostly sugary and not upto the mark. The service was good, with the staff being courteous. Overall, while there were hits and misses and selections of dishes could have been improved considering being only vegetarian, the lunch buffet provided a satisfactory dining experience.

Hands down the best Indian food I have had in the MKE area. Quite possibly the best Indian food I’ve had, ever. The service and the owner were top notch in hospitality! Don’t forget to get some delicious sweets from the case to take home!

We reached around 8:15 pm on Feb 11th. They said it closing time. Will you guys make it around 9 pm . We said yes and ordered mango Lassi , Garlic Nan, Paneer butter masala & veg biryani.
Plates are not hygienic. It's contains water stains.
1. In magao, Lassi contains only water, ice, and no sugar no mango juice.
2. Garlic Nan is very yummy .
3. Panner butter masala curry should be thick gravy but its sambar gravy. 4. Vegetables biryani is only peace and colorful rice .
Total we paid almost 40 $, including tip.
Its a very special day. We feel like eat our county food and feel like in hometown. that's why we went to this restaurant on special days, but it's not worth it.
Bathrooms also not clean at all.

BEWARE: They make unlock their doors at 11am: but don't actually open until after noonish. Buffet is not keeping temp, most hot foods are cold in the center.
They did not have napkins out, told us AFTER we paid to wait 5-10 minutes for them to finish preparing for customers. But then... forgot to do any prep or tell us that we could start eating?
The food was bland, strangely seasoned (chana masala that tastes like Busch's baked beans). Half of the buffet dishes were empty or from the prior night. The pakoras were cold in the center, also old and super dense. Weird, gross egg rolls.
The chai masala tea was watered down and sad (only hot thing in the place!), the rice pudding was just milk and old rice, no sugar or spices.
Possibly the worst restaurant I've eaten at in Wisconsin. Expensive for the small selection of poorly made food.

Food is good but ASK to see what's on the buffet BEFORE you pay. I expected some goat or chicken dishes, but none. Staff are friendly

It was just okay.
Maybe that's because I arrived at 1:30 pm, and the lunch buffet ends at 3 pm? Naan was great, but everything else was sub-par. Items on the buffet were dried and depleted. The server was filling some carryout orders from the buffet.
My water glass was all spotted. I questioned its cleanliness and the cleanliness of the bathroom.
You have to pay and tip before sitting down. After adding a 15% tip, my lunch buffet was over $20.

I personally love ordering off the menu more than having the buffet. As a born and raised Indian, I would say that the buffet just seems more catered to impress general crowd who are still introducing themselves to Indian food.
My wife and I have been together for 6 years, and she is Caucasian. Since she is used to variety of Indian flavors, she did not get that authentic taste from the buffet she was expecting as well.
Overall, great experience with a very friendly and diligent staff!

Indian Delight on Howell in Oak Creek was a really wonderful discovery!!! The restaurant was spotless, the staff kind & knowledgeable and the food authentic and FABULOUS!! And $ reasonable! I have access to a lot of Indian food in a major US city and Indian Delight’s food blew those away! The butter massala, curry potatoes & cauliflower, garlic naan bread….yummmm! Trust me, you will love this new Oak Creek spot for authentic Indian cuisine .

This is a review of the lunch buffet. Experiences with their takeout service may vary. Note this is a VEGETARIAN restraunt, which I have no problem with.
The Good:
Good ambience, a good upgrade from their previous location. Much more space now.
The Bad:
Quality and taste of the food is fair, but the selection seemed limiting. It was mainly only bean/lentil curries, and rice, the typical Indian buffet dishes like simosas, coconut based curries, or masalas we're not present. Naan is available, but served by the waiter. I would have liked to see more variety. The worst part of the experience was the cold food. The heaters on the buffet line were not turned on. The waiter was notified twice, who seemed to be confused with our notice. The heaters were eventually turned on, we waited 15 minutes and the food remained cold. Because most of the foods on the buffet are wet foods, it made it very hard to eat.
I understand this is a new establishment, but for now I cannot recommend. If I revisit this restraunt again I will update this review if things have improved.
