I normally don’t leave reviews like this but I want to love this course, I just can’t. I played quite a lot last season and really enjoyed the course. I felt like the value was great last season. This season however, things have changed. For starters the tee times are way too close together and on hole 3 we had a 4 card backup and had to have a solo join our twosome just to try and have a somewhat bearable pace of play. The greens and tee boxes are not maintained well. The tee boxes are very uneven and the green had patches of sand that we had to work around. The price of range balls has gone up significantly even though nothing has changed from last year and the course prices have gone up and the conditions have been laughable. I really hope this course gets things figured out because I love the hole layouts and think it has potential to be a hidden gem. For now save your money and go somewhere else until things turn around.

Lucky enough for a beautiful morning. The course is pretty decent. Some holes are long and challenging, some are not terribly hard. Par 3's are nice. Just the right amount of difficulty. Has a driving range, practice putt area. Pro shop, bar with food and bathrooms. Real nice outdoor seating area.

He was always there when we needed him. Thanks! Update 10-22-23: Course is excellent condition tee to green. Leaves have been just a very small issue. Bigger issue is people not repairing their ball marks on the greens. C'mon! Help out the greens keeper! It's good golf etiquette and the right thing to do. Update 5-10-25: Again, course is in pretty good shape, except tee boxes are getting beat up already, and greens have many unrepaired ball marks. C'mon golfers, repair your ball marks!

The price you pay for what the course is not a good deal. $27 for 9 holes is expensive consider the quality of other courses around the area. It has terribly up kept tee boxes and greens. Some of the greens were literally putting over mud. I had to take relief from the middle of fairways. On top of that the pace of place was the slowest I have ever seen. I will never consider this course ever again. You are better off going somewhere else or staying home and not playing golf. If I could give 0/5 I would. If you are a hack and horrible golfer who doesn’t mind playing 2.5 - 3 hours for 9 holes this is the perfect place for you as you will not have to fix and divots and beaver tails!

Just got back from this course. We had a group of 8 and played a round. Some of us stayed to replay. We paid for replay. When we finished 9 and we’re going to start the other 9, a male staff in black top came out and yelled at us that if we wanted to play another, we have to pay again. We were trying to explain to him that we are replaying. But he didn’t want to here our explanation and said that we are just going to argue and went back to the clubhouse. We played there before and had replayed at replay rate (half). If there’s no more replay, he could have explained to us that there were replays in the past with lower rate but we don’t have that anymore, we would have understood.

Greens fees are too high in comparison to others in the area. You can play much nicer courses for less money. Don't ask for any discount, senior rates..disability rate etc...you'll get a flat out NO sarcastic response. I tried to get a senior rate, I'm 71, and was told I should have come before 9 am, or on a different day when the rates are cheaper, so I paid the same as my 26 year old grandson.
Golfed there in league for many years, not anymore.

This was the first time golfing this course. I loved it. I golf a lot of different courses and I will definitely be back. Course was in great shape. Staff was friendly and etiquette was great as I played alone and was able to play through when needed. People that are looking for good prices should be aware of the promo they have for the three days following packer games. I asked the pro shop what the normal rates were and $40 for 18 with cart is very reasonable. Pretty standard for most courses in the area, and this one is in as good of if not better shape then the rest of them.

I used to love Irish and would play it all the time. Now, they want extremely high rates, no coupons or discounts avail, yet the course is poorly maintained. I can get a Golf Green Card and go play Royal St. Patricks for $10 less a round and have a much better course experience. Management needs to get the course up to par and then do coupons and promotions to get people back. I used to play it 5 times a year. I only played it once in the last 2 and that is sad. I really loved that course, but not for $43 a round. Not when I can play most courses for much less around here and most are better than this one.

So, their "twilight" special is $20 for 9 holes with a cart. Hardly a special. Especially since when we got out on the course, it was in terrible shape. The greens were beyond bad. Sand traps aren't cared for. Fairways are already brown in May. And the teeboxes have always been awful. Uneven and poorly taken care of. Kills me to say these things about the course because I played my high school golf here years ago.

The course itself is decent, but the tee boxes are torn up beyond belief. It can be a challenging course for beginners and intermediate players, but if you are advanced, you'll find the course too easy. I will say that this course has terrible management and cannot understand the need for tee times. My wife and I went golfing recently, and the clubhouse allowed a group of 8 and another group of 7 to golf in front of us. It wasn't until another couple informed the beverage cart person that something was done. Because of this, the pace of play was awful. It took us 5 hours to golf 18 holes when it usually takes us 4. The two large groups weren't just large either. They were obnoxious and holding up everyone else. The ranger and the management did nothing about it except tell them to break up their groups around holes 14 or 15. It didn't do much good. We can honestly say that we will probably never go back to Irish Waters because of the terrible service and management. For the price we paid to golf, the management should understand proper golf etiquette and pace of play, but no, they just let kids come and party at the expense of paying customers who want to enjoy the game of golf. The course is decent, but it needs better management that would actually care and respect golf and the course they have. Until someone else buys it, we won't be back.

Irish Waters was a huge disappointment today, 6/23/2016.
We had made tee times earlier this week, and had to change them to a later time. 2:15 pm. We all arrived early and were told we could only golf nine do to a league. Wish they would have told us so we could have went some where else. Cody was very unprofessional in handling the situation.
Course was in absolute terrible shape.
Will avoid this course!

Saw the beer cart only once, and that was after hole 6.
