Wonderful service and great recommendations for wine and food.
I had the portobella fries (large portion) and teres major steak which were both fantastic.

They had a wine special on Tuesday night so I tried a few different kinds and enjoyed the experience.

I was planning to watch the baseball game and they don’t have any TVs which is worth noting-but the atmosphere and staff were so great that I didn’t miss the TV once I got settled.

I will definitely come back and look forward to trying more items on the menu. :)

Very unique and cozy setting in Green Bay. The service was excellent. The courses arrived right on time and the drinks were timed perfectly as well. Nice rustic, low-key restaurant. The layout is unique with box cars on the perimeter, but makes for a larger gathering space around the bar so it's nice not to feel cramped until you get to your table. Excellent drinks!

I have celiac disease, which means I can not eat gluten or have any cross contact because gluten is toxic to me and can make me very sick. Caleb ( one of the cowners I've spoken with) and his staff have taken my condition very seriously, and have provided me with many safe meals. Many of the menu items like their Wisconsin deep fried cheese curds W/ 3 amazing dipping sauces that are all house made, already come gluten free . And everything gluten free that's fried, is fried in a gluten free frier.. Lots of delicious gluten free dishes to choose from as well. Oh!.. and did I mention they have gluten free desserts?! The gluten free desserts are phenomenal!! Whoever is doing the baking must know some sort of secret GF magic, because you would never know it was gluten free. The texture and flavor is just like regular bakery items. Non of my non GF friends could tell the difference. I'd even argue that it's better.
Also if you're like myself, and you don't drink alcohol but your frinds all do, the Iron Duck has a fantastic bar with top notch cocktails and mocktails for everyone to enjoy!
If you live in or around Howard WI (Green Bay) area, or if you're visiting the area and looking for some safe and amazing gluten free menu items, I highly recommend the Iron Duck. Even if it's just meeting up with friends for a drink to enjoy the unique atmosphere of this establishment along with it's friendly and attentive service.

My favorite restaurant when I'm in Green Bay! The food is always imaginative and delicious. I try different things, but I'm partial to the falafel dish with the quinoa powerbowl a close second. The lamb burger is my go-to if I'm having a meat dish. I can't think of anything I wouldn't try because they do such an excellent job with all of it. The drinks are expertly mixed and they have an acceptable wine list. On our last visit in June, Grayson at the front desk was so gracious and friendly, as was Jake at the bar. I love establishments that allow for having dinner while seated at the bar. Highly recommend!

Iron Duck is one of our favorite restaurants! We’ve always had amazing food, great drinks and top notch service (Evie is the best!!). The staff is so friendly and makes you feel like family. I recently came here for the first time and it was an amazing experience. The service was excellent. The owner, Caleb, is very well versed in wines and will come back to check on your table. It shows how much he cares about his customers and their experience. The food was delicious and the drinks did not disappoint. I would suggest trying the bone marrow appetizer and the chocolate bunt cake. Thank you so much to our server that recommended it! They truly made my anniversary special. Iron duck is a go-to place for us, with consistently excellent food and service at reasonable prices. We'd get food to go from here more often if it wasn't such a great place to sit, eat and drink. It's cozy in the bar area when it's cold out, and their patio is great in the summer time.

As a North Bend resident, I'm SO glad the Iron Duck has stayed in business through ups and downs - other restaurants have struggled in that location. Keep up the good work!

A must stop in Green Bay! The hospitality at the Iron Duck is top notch from the minute you walk in the door. Every time I stop in every detail is tended to. I have had client meetings over dinner, co-workers out for drinks and small plates, and celebrated an anniversary at the Iron Duck.

The food matches the atmosphere as well! The entrees are creative and delicious, the small plates are unique and a nice change from the typical choices, and I have never had a plate that was not consistent in delivering more than what I could hope for.

Lastly, but equally as important to the experience, the drink selection is top notch. The choices in variety and exclusivity of spirits, wine, beer, and complete cocktails rivals almost anywhere in Northeast Wisconsin.

Stop in at the Iron Duck. You will not regret it!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner with a large party of 41ish hosted here, and EVERYTHING about the experience was phenomonal. The drinks were amazing, the food was perfect, and the service from the owner, servers and bartenders was incredible. The booking experience, communication, and recommendations were all just top notch.

Early evening dinner experience on Friday was amazing! I've had fish tacos in Door County and Florida, but the Iron Ducks's were the best I've had. First time dining at Iron Duck. My husband and I and another couple decided to give it a try last night. The online information looked interesting, and they have the ability to make an online reservation, which was a positive in my book! When we got there, we were charmed by the train/boxcar design, which continued inside with subtle and classy train-themed decor inside. Overall, the ambiance inside is very warm and inviting. We were seated right away, even though we were about 15 minutes early for our reservation. Our waitress came right over with water and menus. Immediately my husband was enthralled with the unique cocktails available. He ordered their signature Post-Modern Margarita - it was phenomenal. Other cocktails enjoyed throughout the evening included the End Paragraph and The Gentleman. We all tried a sip of each and all agreed they were really good. We also had a nice bottle of an Italian Red Blend wine with dinner - very reasonably priced and also very good. Caleb, the owner, brought over his bourbon/spirits menu (we had asked to see it)...and that launched a very fun evening speaking with him about the restaurant, the alcohol options, his vision, etc. We learned a lot and really enjoyed our conversation with him. For food...we started with the bread service, bone marrow and caprese salad (this last one was a feature -- they have their own garden out back, and the heirloom tomatoes came from it...so good!). For dinner, our party had the chicken sandwich, filet, jambalaya and duck tacos with squash fritters (these last two were both appetizers, which my husband put together for his meal). Everything was delicious, with impecable flavors. It was honestly hard to chose what we wanted to eat, because everything on the menu looked very good. For dessert, we ordered all three available -- chocolate bundt cake, summer berries and gelato/cookie. All three were gluten free, which was nice to see -- in fact, the menu overall has a ton of gluten free options (I believe I heard the waitress say they have a separate GF fryer in the back, for things like the fried chicken sandwich, which was fantastic to hear). The only "criticism" I can offer on the food was I expected the jambalaya to have a little more sauce to it, which would be more in line with traditional jambalaya. This dish was more like the consistency of fried rice --- that being said, it was still very delicious. Just enough spice and very full of flavor. The summer berries were magnificent and the gelato was among the best we've every had. We also tried their signature barrel Whistle Pig (and each couple ended up leaving with a bottle to take home). All in all, we were delightfully surprised to find this hidden gem....we absolutely, 100% will be back!

Overall: A welcome addition to the area, especially compared to the abundance of Mexican restaurants (junk food).

Recommendation: If you're in the area, give Iron Duck a try. The duck pate is a must-try, and the drinks are good. However, be mindful of the prices and consider skipping the soup and ribeye.

We ordered duck tacos and bread service for appetizer. Duck tacos were amazing. The bread was super burnt and the honey cheddar was like cheez wiz from a can. My husband got a grilled chicken sandwich, the chicken was half the size of the bun it came in and it was black and burnt to a crisp. Fries were underdone. I had shrimp jambalaya and it was just okay. Didn’t taste like jambalaya but also didn’t taste particularly bad. Unfortunately we won’t be back on one of our Green Bay trips.

I was looking for a location to have a nice birthday dinner with a friend. Chives had a two and a half hour wait, so we picked another location we wanted to try, so we chose the Iron Duck. We were immediately seated. We chose their ribeye steak. When it came to the table, it looked good. When I cut into the steak, I realized the steak was sitting on potatoes and it was less than an inch thick. Ordering medium rare it was slightly picked, but because of its thickness was not juicy it also had a burnt taste to it. Overall this was a very disappointing experience.

First thoughts on the restaurant itself, it’s very unique and beautiful in its own way. We made a reservation at 6:00, and arrived 10 minutes early. The service was a little slow, but everyone is short staffed. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The duck liver arrived before the drinks, but they arrived a couple minutes afterwards. The liver was very good. We liked the jelly, but wished it was on the side so we could control the intensity. We both got a soup, one was the duck chili and the other was the carrot soup. Both were very tasty. Lastly for the main course we got the duck and lamb burger. I had the duck and it was so flavorful. There was so many interesting profiles that were on that plate. Absolutely delicious. The lamb burger was also very enjoyable. The only thing was that it did take a long time for the food to come out. We were there at 6:00 and left at 8:00. So plan accordingly if you are going to eat here and go somewhere else afterwards. Great experience and wonderful food.

Iron Duck is incredible. Food and the variety of options is terrific and delicious; very eclectic menu. Waitstaff and service is excellent! Lastly, you can't beat the atmosphere. Very impressive selection of wine and bourbon. Highly recommend Iron Duck Restaurant.

I had the Cuban sandwich. Great flavor and combination of ingredients. Only slight negative is that it was a bit greasy. But that wouldn't stop me from having it again. I tasted the shrimp jambalaya OMG that was good. Also tasted the seared pork belly... yummy 😋

A culinary experience! HIGHLY recommend this spot - super unique for the Green Bay Area.

The space. Felt like we were in a mountain town or something. Cozy, with lots of wood walls, decor, accents. Unique space because they up cycled shipping containers for dining areas - but you'd never know! It's definitely a dinner date vibe type place.

The drinks. I'm still day dreaming about the Moderne Margarita. There are literally no works for this drink. The server brought out the drink and I was confused as hell - it came with a large single nice cube, tahin rimmed glass - but it was CRYSTAL CLEAR. What is the sorcery is this magic?! I have never had a margarita that was crystal clear - it was confusingly wonderful. I was skeptical until my first sip. Wow. Just wow. Probably the best margarita I have ever had! It was refreshing, crisp and not sugary. I could have sipped on several more. All of their cocktails were super unique and I can't wait to go back and try more. Another awesome thing? They have a mocktail menu! And the mocktail my wife tried was DELICIOUS. You'd never know you weren't having a cocktail. If I had one word to describe their drinks - sophisticated.

The food. First and foremost - one of the most gluten friendly places in Green Bay! All of their fryers are GF. And they offer A TON of naturally GF menu items. Including a Wisconsin staple... cheese curds! They serve them with 3 different, delicious sauces. Highly recommend. We got the Teres Major Steak and the Pork Belly for dinner - both were delicious. Unique flavor combinations. Party in my mouth. The most disappointing part of the meal was dessert. I'm not sure if we got a bad batch, or if that's how they do it - we got the crème brûlée and it just disappointed on every level. First and foremost, the consistency of the crème brûlée was totally off. I'm used to a very smooth custard. This was curd-like, very firm. Plus, it was super chilled - I'm more used to not so cold custard part. I want to come back here to see if we got a bad batch, or that's just how they do it there. I'm hoping it was just a bad batch...

The food and service was excellent. Portobello fingers and duck pate were great appetizers. We all had the duck chowder, very tasty. The shrimp jambalaya was delicious as was the grilled Caesar salad. We greatly enjoyed our meal.

The team of the Iron Duck are the hostess with the mostess! Caleb and his staff provided a welcoming meal and each staff member was polite and accomodating. If you're looking for a place that offers a fine dinning cuisine and atmosphere experience, but with a splash of charismatic midwestern hospitality the Iron Duck is the place. We had a wonderful dining experience here at the Iron Duck. We enjoyed the bone marrow, teres major steak entree, and the pork belly entree. Each dish was clearly very thoughtfully crafted. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the pork belly was crispy on the outside, melt in your mouth awesomeness. The side pairings were phenomenal and all flavor profiles across the board were spot on. It was a fantastic journey for the taste buds. I really liked the sweetness of the fermented mustard seeds served with the bone marrow.

I did get a pic of the bone marrow, but we were so excited and hungry when the entrees came out that we dug right in. The presentation was nice.

Enough about the food.... We had a couple of the craft cocktails, in following this theme...they were excellent as well.

Service was 5 stars. We were there on a busy Saturday night. Staff didn't skip a beat.

Tempura fingers were unique and delicious the aioli that came with them was devine. Salmon cakes were also a hit the sweet potato purée they sit on was also amazing. I had the chicken sandwich which was lightly breaded and absolutely delicious. Everyone else in the party also loved their dishes. The only thing I was disappointed about is that they were out of the white pear sangria but I ended up going with some red wine anyway and wasn’t disappointed in their wine selection.
Will definitely be going again to try the Cuban.

Dined here at 7:00 PM on a Saturday, and was able to get seating right away despite a full house. The server was very friendly, and I received prompt service and attention. The server had helpful recommendations and answers to my questions and ensured I had everything I needed.

I ordered the jambalaya and it was quite good. The bread was particularly good; coupled with the sauce and rice it was a solid dish. The shrimp was cooked well, and it was a good portion size. The sausage had a good flavor and a rather loose and crumbly texture which I haven't experienced before in jambalaya. It was interesting. I ordered it with the highest level of spice and it was the perfect amount of heat; it reminded me of true NOLA jambalaya.

The atmosphere was casual but well done. I didn't have any cell reception inside, but their WiFi worked well enough that I could continue to work and read while I was there.

Had a 5-star business dinner. This place is really cool with the rail cars around the perimeter and Bar in the middle. We were able to get a table right away, and our server Evie was really something. She was on top of everything, very confident and effective, as well as friendly and professional.

Started with cheese curds for the table, which were good. The teres major steak was tender and tasty, and the potatoes were incredible. One guy had the shrimp jambalaya and couldn't get enough of it.

1st time at this fine establishment and was very impressed right when we walked in. Staff welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Enjoyed cocktails before with a very intriguing cocktails list, ( I STRONGLY RECOMMEND). From then on the evening was extremely enjoyable, with great conversations with staff and friends paired with wonderful libations. Will definitely return. Awesome, fantastic restaurant. Atmosphere is one of the best I've seen. I have a wheat allergy and I was not treated as an OTHER. It was amazing. Waitress went back and alerted the kitchen that there was a wheat allergy order coming in so they could be prepared. Completely gluten free fryer. Lots of GF choices. The cheese curds were so good. I had the filet and it was done to perfection. Highly recommend.

We had gluten free cheese curds (you must try all the sauces), gluten free duck tacos, the jerk salmon over risotto, and jambalaya. This food was top notch. Gluten free food can have weird textures but this was perfect.

The cheese curds were lightly breaded and enormous.

The duck tacos were seasoned well and tender. The pickled carrots on top were great.

The risotto and salmon was slightly over cooked but the flavors were a tasty pineapple, jalapeño.

The Jambalaya was actually pretty spicy!

We had a bunch of drinks and they were very unique in texture. A real delight to try.

The lavender ice cream and gluten free cookie were a great way to end the night.

This place is a hidden gem in Green Bay. They offer a unique rotating menu, including exceptional cocktails and a great beer selection. Most recently, we tried their summer hummus, which had radishes and peas from their garden in the back of the restaurant. They use quality ingredients in their dishes and it shows. The space and decor offer a unique, supper club vibe. Chloe offered great service on our last trip dining inside. We can't wait to come back and try more.

Food was alright I had the Rainbow Trout. It was cooked correctly but the flavoring was very bland along with the rice it was served on top of. It looked like their strength was presentation but they need to work on flavor. Customer service was slow and it took a long time for us to get our check or be followed up on. Most of the dining is in metal boxcars making cellphone signal very, very poor to the point your phone is almost unusable. For the price I expected more service and quality of food.

Decided to try this place which was new to us. Let me just say this place is very unique with some delicious food. We started out at the bar and had a drink and the bartender was very knowledgeable with the cocktail menu. We then moved to a cozy booth in on of the train cars. Super super cozy atmosphere here. Our server was Evie and let me say she is just amazing!!! Loved it! Started out with the duck corn chowder which was good but a tad spicy. Then moved onto the duck tacos with white rice pancake. So amazing. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with house fries. These fries are homemade which are my absolute favorite! Just like at the fair when I was a kid! The pickles are homemade and so delicious too! Hubby had the fish tacos which were also great! Would definitely go back to this unique and epic place again. There are so many great things on both the cocktail and food menu it's very difficult to choose!

This is an random restaurant on the side of the road that is a complete gem.

I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I have had in awhile. Everything pushes the envelope of creativity, while still staying approachable.

I had the Post modern Margarita, Duck tacos, Bone marrow, and Teres major steak. Each was absolutely amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop by for dinner sometime!
