Wow! What great food and good prices! Parents and 3 kids got out of there with two appetizers (an awesome huge pretzel, and tasty cheese curds) and meals for $100. Youngest kids enjoyed the mac&cheese bites, older kid had the Whiskey burgee with regular fries (I tasted it and it was phenomenal-better than a similar Red Robin burger), I had the fried cod (it was Friday) and that was so good, and my wife had Chicken Ceasar wrap with sweet potatoe fries. Not one thing made us say "Eh, that's alright." Everything was perfect. Great outside atmosphere next to the river with a great selection of music. No, I don't work here or own the place...it was just that great of a first time there. If only we had a boat to pull up to the dock next time we are there.

If Jimmy Buffett and Guy Fieri had a baby and raised it on a pontoon boat—Island Bar & Grill would be its daycare.

First off, the food? Next level. I ordered a burger so juicy it had me questioning all my past relationships. The fries were crispier than my ex’s texts, and the cheese curds? Let’s just say I’d trade my left shoe and half my dignity for another basket.

The music? Absolute bangers. I walked in and immediately felt like I was in a summer montage. By the second chorus, strangers were singing together like it was karaoke night at Margaritaville. I don’t know if it was the band or the rum runners, but I almost proposed to a bartender named Chad (shoutout to Chad for politely declining).

Now let’s talk about those views. Water as far as the eye can see, sun shining like it’s getting paid by the hour, and boats pulling up like it’s a VIP club for people who own Yeti coolers and questionable American flag swimsuits. Honestly, if your sunglasses aren’t reflecting lake light while sipping a Tingala cocktail, are you even living?

And the staff? Angels in tank tops. Quick with a drink, quicker with a joke, and somehow always smiling—even when some guy in a flamingo shirt (me) asked if they served deep-fried pickles in the shape of Wisconsin. (They don’t, but they should.)

Final verdict?
Island Bar & Grill isn’t just a bar. It’s a state of mind. A lakeside, beer-in-hand, cheese-curd-in-mouth, sunburn-on-your-nose kind of paradise. 10/10, would lose my flip-flops here again.

I stopped by on a sunny Saturday afternoon in July and had a fantastic experience. The weather was beautiful, a great band was playing, and boats were cruising by—such a fun, lively atmosphere. I ordered the salmon, which was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

Really good bbq ribs (the meat was falling off the bone), and they have a stage on the lake for live music. The only drawback is that the area floods from time to time.

While visiting Lake Koshkonong for the first time we were directed to the Island Bar and Grill for a meal. Soo glad we headed that way. The food and service were incredible and the live entertainment was awesome.
We had vehicle issues while visiting and the staff went over the top in accommodating us, getting us to our hotel for the night, and repairs the next morning. Really made the best what normally would have been a pretty bad situation. Thanks soo much

We were there for Roxstar yesterday and what a fantastic time. I would love to give a HUGE shout out to Our waitress Brooke who did any amazing job and was the sweetest thing. They were very busy yesterday and she always showed up to her tables with a smile.
