My sister & I stopped on 9/9/25 and bought the small Chicago blend tub. The flavors blended perfectly but the popcorn was stale. The caramel corn was sticky and the cheese was spongy. Wish it would of been fresh. Maybe it was popped Labor day and we just got the last of it.

First time on the island and so, glad we stopped here!! We ate lunch next door and decided to stop to get popcorn for snack that night. The shop is super cute and there is parking. The young lady at the counter was so, helpful, knowledgeable and a great sales lady. We couldn't decide on exactly we wanted so, we ended up getting 4 bags. We got cherry, dill, parm and loaded baked potato. We are so excited to eat them!! She did let us sample some so, it definitely helped narrow our picks. Definitely recommend stopping in!! Bought some popcorn before I left Washington Island this year and it was amazing. I bought a spicy one I believe it was called blazing saddles. It was perfectly popped and consistently covered with flavoring and spice was perfect. I’m now eating a bag off cheese popcorn from the from the gas station and it made me wish I had the popcorn barn popcorn 😭 I noticed they have a website to order and I’m definitely going too. And I’m thinking of getting some as gifts for Christmas 🥰 I love Washington Island and will definitely pop in again next year!!

This is our family’s favorite popcorn store in Door County. We take the ferry over to Washington island to purchase, but we’ve also ordered online and had it delivered too. It’s that good! The owners are so friendly and helpful. They also usually have samples of some of their popcorn flavors, which is nice. We really, really like their theater popcorn…it’s SO GOOD!

Absolutely loved the popcorn we bought! We originally stopped to buy caramel apples because we knew it would be busy everywhere else on the mainland because of fall fest and we ended up leaving with several flavors of popcorn too! They offer as many samples as you want which was so nice considering I am so indecisive. Lol. I bought multiple flavors and was so happy with my purchase. My husband loves the spud (loaded baked potato) flavor and my son loves the kettle corn. I got the island mix (cheddar and caramel). Friendly staff and they were so happy to answer any questions we had.

Kettle corn is great. We tried the garlic parmesan and liked it so we bought that and kettle corn only to find it was stale, after we opened the bag of garlic parm on the ferry back. No dates on the package to know when it was made etc. For the price that was disappointing. The pricing on the board was very confusing as it was made to seem that 3 clear bags would be $12 or $5 each but it is only a select flavors in a basket. Wanted to love it but just couldn't after we got the stale popcorn. Hoping it's a fluke....

Being from the Chicago area, the popcorn bar level is Garrett's. Island popcorn is very darn close. While I spent the weekdays up there, I enjoyed their snacks. No hard kernels or lack of flavors. I love the stuff.

I love popcorn so I was excited to see this new addition to the Island. They did not disappoint and as a matter of fact went above and beyond my expectations. The day before I went in I ran into the owner Lenny who told me about the shop, I asked if he had a Sour Cream and onion mix? He did not but the next day I went in he pulled some out and said he made it at my suggestion, I couldn't believe it. Off course I bought it and it was amazing, OH and don't even get me started on the loaded backed potato popcorn! SOOOO GOOD!!!
