Came here for a baby shower in February. Not sure if Nathan and Miranda who hosted the baby shower was just cheap and got the cheapest thing on the menu but it wasn’t the best and not edible . I took a bite of the food and just waited to get home and eat. I will most likely not be back . Bathroom was not very clean. Watered down drinks and space for the baby shower was small and uncomfortable . Again it could’ve be the host was not organized .

Dine in is only open at lunch time, so I met my kids there for lunch. We had a very enjoyable lunch with good portions, flavorful dishes and excellent service. So, I tried Italian House since I had not been there and I just moved here middle of last year. And it is close. I ordered the Lasagna Dinner, which comes with a side salad and 8" of Garlic Bread. The salad was good, pre-made but good ingredients. The Garlic Bread had zero garlic flavor. It looked much more promising than it tasted. Same with the Lasagna, it was a hearty portion, looked good to the eye, but had no flavor. At first I thought, I can easily split these portions and have the rest for dinner tomorrow night. But after eating it, I just tossed the rest of the garlic bread and lasagna because it was not good at all. I paid $18 total, that includes the 10% tip I added to the guy who handed my take out order to me. But I really could have bought frozen lasagna, garlic bread and some parm from the store for less and better tasting. Ask me, pass on this spot till they decide they want to put out better product. Why even bother if your food tastes like this?

Very confusing. Says on website; Restaurant Hours Mon-Sat 10am - 8m. So I call to see if I need reservations and the person who answered says, why would you need reservations? I didnt know what to say so I answered; to make sure we get a table. To which her answer was, you cant get a table when the dining room is closed. I then asked why does it say its open on the website to which she said she didnt know. At that point I wasnt sure I wanted that person to be making me something I was going to eat.

This is one of Janesville’s best kept secrets! I ordered lasagna and my friend had a sub. We got these to go. The salad was fresh and crisp the garlic bread was buttery, soft and delicious! The lasagna had so much FLAVOR and was such a nice portion i finished it the next day for lunch. He finished that sub sandwich and was smiling like he had a secret 😂. Great place for a sandwich. Located next door to Janesville Craig HS. We grabbed a garlic legacy, the legacy on garlic bread. It was pretty rich so I think I will try a legacy next time...and there will be a next time. They had lots of options, including a meatball sub. After living in the area for several years and hearing so many good things about Italian House, we decided to try them. It was a Sunday about an hour before closing and we stopped in for a carry-out order. We ordered cheese ravioli and meat tortellini with side salads and garlic breads. The portion sizes are huge and very filling. You get two very big pieces of garlic bread. Overall, the flavor of the food was just OK; there was nothing spectacular in our opnions about it. While the red sauces were hearty, it didn't seem like much more than you'd find in a jar of Ragu Traditional flavor.

We had my best friends baby shower there. The banquet room was beautiful, The food was brought out before everyone got there and looked beautiful. Lots to choose from! And many desserts! The salad was delicious! We had lots of room to decorate the room for the baby shower. The waitresses came to make sure everything was well stocked and looked nice during the event. I’m giving this 3 stars because we have usually had a decent experience. Today, one of the handful of times we didn’t, is alarming to me.

I called to order a carry out order. It was very specific. The young girl I could tell had zero idea what she was doing just from the phone interaction. She kept asking “Anything else?” after every single items, even after I told her I had multiple more. She never asked for a name or number. I had to ask how long and how much? She said 15 minutes hesitantly and she didn’t know the price, I’d find out at the window.

I get to the window a little early and the young girl had no idea who I was, what order we had, etc. I rattled it off and eventually she found our order. She read it to me and at the end I made sure the sandwiches had exactly the right things taken off of them. She was hesitant but agreed with me. We paid and pulled forward. It took 30 minutes, not 15.

When the two girls came out with our food, I prayed it was correct. But we get to the other side of town and nope! We asked for two full veggie gondolas, no pickles on one. Lo and behold, there were pickles even though I was read the order back with No Pickles! And the other full veggie gondola was supposed to have no tomatoes, no onion and no pickles. And this one still had tomatoes. I do have pictures of the sandwiches, here is one. We placed our order at 11:20 this morning for reference to go back and check our ticket. It’s supposed to be a 3 pastas, a loaf and a half of garlic bread, and three sandwiches.

Please either train or hire more competent people. This isn’t the first time this has happened and we don’t have time to backtrack as our time was limited seeing family from out of town today.

It was useless even talking to these girls there, they had zero clue what to do.

Also, the is no reason why a veggie sandwich should cost more than one with meat. $7 rise in price is a little extreme.
