Excellent food! We had the honey garlic wings, fusion alfredo pasta with lamb, tikka tacos, and butter chicken pizza. Everything was just amazing. Service was attentive. And the atmosphere is very modern. Today the menu designer was actually on the floor and she’s so good about making sure everyone enjoys the food. Overall we will be back. 10/10.

I really like the style of the restaurant and the bartenders seem really nice but the prices are a little high. Two drinks will run you $30 and then the food will have you at $50 total, and on top of that, it's not even a fair amount of food for the price you pay. I'd be a regular if the prices were more reasonable

Great food but we received very poor service. Our waitress wasn’t friendly and was borderline rude, we also had to get our own drink refills at the bar as she wasn’t checking in with us. At the end of our meal she asked us for a cash tip instead of card, which was odd. We still tipped of course but it was an uncomfortable dining experience overall.

Earlier this week, I stopped by IVR and had the lamb birria biryani plate it was flavorful, the staff was welcoming, and the overall experience was great. That visit made me look forward to returning during my work trip (I stay at the Holiday Inn nearby and convenience is a big factor for me).
Unfortunately, my most recent visit was the complete opposite. From the moment I sat down, my server, Alicia G, made me feel unwelcome. She mentioned a “$100 minimum to start a tab.” While I can understand if that’s a policy, the way it was delivered made me feel as though I couldn’t afford to pay or wasn’t worth the effort of service because I was only one guest coming in for a drink and possibly some food. She mentioned it was just because the lrich businessmen” come in at the bar and tend to order a lot. I don’t know what that has to do with me.
It came across as dismissive, judgmental, and very different from my previous experience here.
Instead of enjoying my evening, I cut my visit short and left earlier than I wanted not because of the drinks (which were fine), but because of how uncomfortable and unwelcome I felt.
Consistency matters in hospitality. Two visits, two completely different tones: one warm and professional, one cold and alienating. That inconsistency is what ultimately drives customers away.
As someone who travels often for work and values convenience, I wanted IVR to be my go-to spot when staying at the Holiday Inn. But after this, I’m hesitant to return for drinks, even though the location is ideal. Guests remember how they are made to feel more than anything else, and in this case, the lasting impression was negative.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because while a single staff member’s attitude may seem minor, it can easily undermine repeat business and damage what otherwise could be a reliable choice for travelers like me.

Delicious food, beautiful and trendy atmosphere, great music and service! Our table tried the butter chicken, tikka masala, and coconut korma with different heat levels for each. All were wonderful! Our youngest kiddo had chicken tacos and fries, also tasty!! Tried the cheesy garlic naan for an appetizer and chocolate lava cake for dessert. Highly recommend IVR Restaurant & Bar. We are sad we live out of state, we would love to come here more often.

Drinks - TERRIBLE, couldn't even finish them & when my husband ordered a double, they charged him $28 (absurd! And I'm pretty pissed I didn't notice til we left)
Service - meh to awful. Waitress didn't have much social skills, forgot plates for us on shared apps & pizza, never asked why we just left our drinks sweating on the table & had to chase down more water and napkins

Sadly, this is why places don't last -- good food is important but poor service & trying to sneak in extra $$ is just unnecessary. There's lots of better places to go that are good across the board. Seems like a trendy place ppl will try and then never go back, like us.

The food was absolutely excellent. The shrimp appetizer reminded me of what I would get in Hawaii, it was definitely my favorite. The garlic naan with the butter sauce was also incredible. We had the lamb chops which where nice and smokey, the lamb burriah biryani and the tikki wrap which where very good as well..we are already looking forward to returning. The gentlemen running our food did a great job making sure we had everything we needed and did it with a smile.
The only complaint is that I wish it was closer to Milwaukee but it is worth the trip for sure.

Definitely worth checking out in terms of the food itself! Great quality food and we ordered a variety off the menu with friends and everything was delicious.

The dip in the star rating is unfortunately for the service. We had a newer server and it was just...off. The timing took a while to get things ordered and the building wasn't all that full. We get it, it's a new place. The worst part however was the way happy hour specials were conveyed to us and therefore our party ended up being overcharged. We were told that happy hour involves choosing a cocktail and there are two tacos included with that. We didn't have a drink menu at the table so all that information was straight from the server. We didn't necessarily want the special but when asked if the tacos were free, our server told us yes. We explicitly asked if it would be cheaper to just get drinks and we were told no, it's the same price.

Unfortunately that was a lie. Each drink we ordered was listed at $13, but on the bill every drink was up charged to $21-$22. So the tacos are in fact NOT free. It's not a huge deal but we certainly didn't appreciate being misled.

First time here and I would definitely would come back for seconds. Atmosphere was nice, the restaurant was clean, and the workers were so welcoming! The food was great! I really love the variety they offer and the creative fusion they had on the menu. I had the butter chicken bowl and my friend had the lamb korma. We were able to share our food because the portion was a decent size. Both of our food was perfectly seasoned. The rice was cooked perfectly. The nan was fresh and tasted so buttery. Food was good. Service was awful. We were a group of 8 but we were the only table there, and we were there for a total of 2 hours. The waitress would take forever to bring us our items, we interacted with her maybe 5 times. To top it off, the waitress, Jacqueline, asked us to tip her in cash because she won’t receive credit card tips for two weeks - but she said she couldn’t take off the automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. So she wanted extra tips! We didn’t have cash so when we left she had the audacity to ask “you’re not leaving me a tip??” - after we left we got a notification from our credit card for a double payment. She charged our original bill PLUS an extra $100!!!!!!! We called and talked to the owner… they said they fired her immediately. But as a fair warning for all, if Jacqueline is still working there, she will try to scam you! I’d be willing to give this place another chance as long as she’s gone, but be mindful of your server! We are disputing the charge with our credit card but I’m still blown away that somebody would do something like this. Crazy work!

EDITING TO ADD: Owner reached out the following day to make things right and canceled the extra charge on their end and made sure it didn’t go through, so we no longer had to dispute from our end. Grateful they took this so seriously! Bumping up a star since management was helpful. 🙂 I don’t blame the restaurant, it’s just unfortunate that the waitress was a crappy person.

Our family of 4 had dinner at this restaurant. It was recommended by a friend from work. Everything was absolutely great from the moment we walked until we left. The food was hot and came quickly. I saw the IVR restaurant on TikTok and could not wait to try it! My bestie and I went for my late birthday dinner. I had been looking for authentic Indian food around Milwaukee for some time now. Found this place. Loved everything. We ordered chicken tikka, paneer pakora, butter chicken bowl, veg bowl with coconut cream and goat curry bowl. It was all delicious. Chicken tikkas were cooked in tandoor so had the authentic smokey flavour. Tried Tiramisu for dessert which was top notch. They have good seating arrangement and ambience was quite good. Butter Chicken Pizza- incredible. Guacamole chaat - phenomenal. Lamb korma enchiladas - so freaking fun and delicious. The Indian/Mexican/Italian fusion you didn’t know you needed in your life because the flavors are FLAVORING! The only dish I wasn’t over the moon for was the birria. A bit salty and meh for me, but the other dishes we had were a delight. Service was nice with food coming from the kitchen with a smile. If you were looking for Indian infusion, you are going to be very disappointed. Just you calling it an Indian dish and it is not doesn't make it fusion. The Manchurian buffalo wings are just buffalo. The tamarind bbq was watered down BBQ. The “biryani” wasn’t even made with basmati rice. Every dish talks about Indian spices there is no Indian spices in any of it. Even the butter chicken is bland and flavorless. They claim Indian spices in all of the options but there is no Indian spices in any of it. Indian spices are very distinct so not hard to taste. I should’ve known better when I saw they referred to the naan as “naan bread”. The tikka tacos naan tasted like the Costco naan. Indian fusion is very popular and not hard to do right. I am the whitest of white and I could tell that that food had no Indian spices in it at all. So disappointing. They need to revamp their recipes with cooks that know Indian cooking. Local Indian population don’t waste your time you will be almost offended.

I wish I had found this place sooner because it is insanely good! Located in the former Point Burger Bar building, I had no idea it was even a restaurant, much less that Indian/Mexican fusion (with a dash of Middle Eastern & Italian) was what my dining experience had been lacking! Their guacamole chaat, served with a drizzle of tamarind chutney, is easily my new favorite food. Also delicious were the honey garlic cauliflower bites - fresh cauliflower, still full of life, covered in a crispy batter and Indian spice infused glaze; the crispy chickpea flour battered fish tacos; and the tamarind BBQ chicken wings. Because we ordered takeout, I can't speak to the dining room ambiance, but the front desk staff were warm and welcoming, everything appeared very clean and tastefully decorated, and the food was still crisp, hot, and fresh by the time we made it home. To top it off, all portions were surprisingly generous as well.

I really can't say enough about IVR Bar except to say that you should grab some friends and go try it. The only concern I had was that business appeared a bit slow, and I'm worried that it may be difficult for them to make it in their present location unless more people realize thet they're there and that they've put together a restaurant with some really fantastic, creative food! Please give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

Food was good and the atmosphere was nice. However the food and atmosphere doesn't make up for the service, which was unbelievably slow - took 43 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food (1 appetizer and 3 soup/salad combos). I am so glad we didn't actually order entrees, probably would have waited an hour for that. Service was the worst service I have ever experienced in my entire life. Wish I could give negative stars for the service. I will never go here again, nor would I recommend the restaurant to anyone EVER!

Amazing staff, experience, and taste, and I feel like the FOOD is priced appropriately, generally in the $18-30 range for high quality fusion food. However I really don't think the adult beverages are.

$11 for a single-pour Jack/Coke? Seriously? I can get one just down the road for $6. It wasn't anything special either - I saw the bartender make it. Price your specialty cocktails that way, or higher even, but don't expect double the regional cost for plain midshelf and soda.

I'll definitely be ordering water at your establishment from now on. But I'll also definitely be coming back, because that lamb was amazing.

I ordered takeout and got the butter chicken bowl. And WOW. My tastebuds had a party. Such delicious food, so flavorful and fresh. The naan was to die for, the rice was perfect, and the butter chicken was unlike anything else I’ve ever eaten. I recently visited IVR Bar, and while the food and drinks were good, my overall experience had some drawbacks.

First, let’s talk about the positives—the food was well-prepared, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. The drinks were also solid in terms of taste and presentation, but I did feel they were a bit overpriced, especially for a brand-new bar/restaurant trying to establish itself.

However, the biggest issue was the temperature inside. As soon as I walked in, it was noticeably hot and uncomfortable. I even mentioned it to the bartender, but nothing was done to address it. Considering it was already warm outside, having a hot indoor environment made it tough to enjoy the experience—especially when mixing alcohol with heat.

Overall, IVR Bar has potential, but I believe they need to work on the pricing and, more importantly, make the atmosphere more comfortable for guests. A little adjustment in these areas would go a long way in keeping customers coming back!

First visit party of 8. The guacamole was rather tasteless, and would be better served with chips on the side rather than underneath the guac. 4 pizzas ordered with tasty naan crust. The lamb, corn, and shrimp hits; butter chicken less so. Butter chicken bowl well received as well as korma enchiladas. Best fusion dish was lamb birria biryani. Could have been hotter. Service very good and fast. They have different happy hour deals daily. On our night they had 4 different $5 martinis available with entree order. Except for the dirty, all rather weak. I live in the area and drove past this location every day. I went here with a friend. we shared the samosas, he is vegetarian an lf got the Paneer tacos while I got the 12" butter chicken pizza. both were on Naan. The chicken was seasoned beautifully and could have been served on it's own. definitely worth checking out. Upon entering we sat in the bar area but soon had to move because the bass from the music was so loud it was giving me a headache! We moved into the dining area which was pleasant. Kenzie, our server was awesome. She was very attentive. We ordered the fish tacos and unfortunately because it didn't say what kind of fish it was, I thought the "cod" was undercooked. I was then told it's actually "swai" which I'm not familiar with and didn't like. The manager then brought over a free item for us to try because of this. The naan cheesy garlic bread was really good. Also the chicken nachos with naan bread was different and I thought that was delicious. Overall I would say the service is fantastic, but food items need to be explained in better detail on the menu so customers know what to expect.

Nice selection of beers and the bar has a great atmosphere. We stayed for dinner and were going to sit at a booth adjacent to it, however the pendant lights were too bright. Took a seat at a high top table in the bar instead ordering samosas, the elote pizza (thin crust) and butter chicken. All were fantastic and we commented how great it was to eat food that actually has flavor. The generous portions of the two entrees will provide a second meal to look forward to. I was just elated to have this caliber of a restaurant in my neighborhood. It's a mix of Indian and Mexican fusion. Bri, my waitress was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, and she made me feel extra special as I dined in for a late lunch. I began with the wings, which I decided to just have them fried, which allowed me to sample all the sauces. The tamarind BBQ sauce was delicious as well as the Buffalo Manchurian. The garlic white sauce has more of a mustard flavor. The chicken was fried hard, which many people prefer. And for lunch, I selected the Lamb BIRRIA BIRYANI. I thought the meat tasted more like goat, but I ordered Lamb. The plate was filled with chunks of meat, and the rice was filled with flavor and seasoned to perfection. I can't wait to return to try the pizza. Do yourself a favor and support this restaurant. You WON'T be disappointed. And PLEASE, if you're a fan of mango, try the MANGO ICE CREAM! 😋

This has been my go to since they’ve opened food is great and the customer service is by far some of the best….!!

However, I can say that each time ( out of the 5 times I’ve been here 2 being lunch to go ) the consistency has been off! Excluding the fish fry which was pretty good, only had that once.

Today 1-29-2025 I ordered the Tikka chicken taco with the tikka sauce on the side.

1. As soon as I opened the Togo. Container I smelled tomato sauce, the rice was with a hint of red and was not the best ( I never had it taste like tomato sauce before nor with it being that color )

2. The tikka sauce tastes just like tomato sauce, I didn’t even bother to open the RED sauce!

Sign outside states bar - Google search for location etc states bar . No indication at first glimpse it serves food . Love the interior . Looks great - fresh and clean . Lots of screens for game day etc . Menu is a fusion of 3 ethnicities. Indian and Mexican being primary . Hard for guest - me to wrap my head around some of the infusions . Your curries all include big scoops of white rice - that's not low carb in any way. Please door ignore us that require low carb options (and just chicken wings isn't much choice, though I did enjoy them)
