Pleasantly surprised. Was kinda dead, but idk our food was great, lil worried they were covering up bad bbq with all the sauce, but the que was great, sauce was even good. Only thing id change is cook those fries longer, doing homemade fries is awesome, but ours were way undercooked, musta been a off night, otherwise, very good, we will be back!!

I love to go there and dance and eat the ribs and drink the non-alcoholic beer with low priced snacks. The DJ takes song request on Thursday Friday Saturday so you can dance to your favorite songs. It is a wonderfully diverse and racially mixed crowd. I met soI have me so many interesting people there. They’re even serving breakfast on Saturday and Sundays now. The owners are among the sweetest people I’ve ever met.

This is your classic dive bar. I went for the bbq and was very disappointed. The only bbq at this bbq restaurant were ribs. I ended with the Philly steak sandwich with undercooked fries. I would not recommend that anyone drive out of their way to visit this place.

Meal Wheel Gang here. Trying out another Friday fish fry this time at Izzys. All you can eat was pollack and it waspretty good. Also offered cod or catfish but not all you can eat. Cod was delicious. Portions were generous including fries and coleslaw with all meals. Burgers are half pound and very good. Looking forward to coming back and giving the ribs and brisket a try. Came here last week to try something new. *****FYI, if you use the lottery machines, there must be some law that says the bar can't give you change, so if you win $20.98, you'll only get $20 back. We came here and there was NOBODY ELSE there. I specifically told the server this WAS OUR 1ST TIME there, she told us what she thought was best; and went to play games ; I won, and gave her my ticket, and thought she shorted me? She just casually said, "oh, we can't give you change." Why wouldn't she have said that to me before? Also, the outer part of the salt shaker was sooo gross. That just turned us off. I just don't know how to ask a server how to clean that when I feel like those should be cleaned every night? So that added to our experience. Also needed to publicly expose what has been done to help anyone else.

god deal with them. This young man could have killed me.
For absolutely no reason. I suffer many disabilities. But by the grace of god, i'm still here. These 2 pretended to be with me.
In a very hard time. As my niece was just shot And murdered. and they do this to me.

His ribs, pork and chicken are an absolute delight! Rib meat falls right off the bone! Chicken is so smoky, juicy and tender! This place is the hidden gem of Superior for finger lickin great BBQ. Famous Dave's don't hold a candle to Izzys. If you haven't tried it yet, go get you some! What makes Izzy's different from the national chains is his homemade recipes. From ribs, to chicken, to pork, baked beans, coleslaw and everything in between. The owner has decades of BBQ experience and it's all right here for you to try! Use to feel like a family bar. I use to run and do get things for my ex husband why he was working and some of the bartenders and my now boyfriend when they needed stuff for the bar and couldn't leave. I could stop in spend my money and peak in the kitchen and tell my ex husband or boyfriend I was there and izzy was fine with it. He always made me feel like family but his new wife has let things go over her head! I had problems in the past with a certain bartender and would not go in why she was working but put that behind and started going in again. 4 adults and 2 kids in our party tonight. Food was amazing and the server was equally great and attentive.

Some highlights were the fish dinner, one of the best breaded fresh fish we have had, and a big plate of it, hard for a guy to eat it all. Also, I heard the Philly cheese was one of the best around, so, two of us got that. I have to say, I've seen dozens and dozens and this one is in my top few. Walked in for the first time on Sunday to shoot some pool and hang out. Before walking in here, my date and I went to three places before deciding to go check out Izzy's. The biggest pool hall in Superior, Top Hat was closed on Sunday. Why? Anyway, the second place we went to was the Last Resort and it was absolutely filthy. Turned around and walked right out, then we went to Schultz's because they used to have pool tables, but they took them all out. Why? So after being quite disappointed, it was an absolute treat walking into Izzy's, which was clean and had a terrific atmosphere, and the food smelled so good! So, after shooting some pool and playing music, we ordered food. The number one best chicken wings I've ever had! Their fries are fresh cut! The coleslaw was even excellent! I plan on coming back here and telling all my friends that we have been missing out. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!

First time at this place, there was one poor woman working as bartender and waitress. She was friendly and helpful, and we learned it was only her third day on the job. So if they'd been properly staffed, I think the service would have been great, but she was just stretched too thin, so everything was really slow.

The food was delicious. Fish fry was our favorite, not greasy and generous portion with all you can eat if you can manage to eat it all. Ribs were very tender, with a tasty BBQ sauce. Fries were really nice too. Kids had hamburgers, that they really enjoyed.

Music is a bit loud, but no moreso than Texas Roadhouse levels. And way better music. 😂

Decent bar and food. The onion rings and cheese curds were the star of the show. Which I wasnt expecting. The meat didn't taste smoked at all, but was decent. The brisket was different than any I've ever had. Not sure how they do it, but it's unique. A lot of char on the outside, but it's not dry. It was a little difficult to eat, but wasnt too bad. The ribs were super tender, but missing that smoked/grilled flavor I thought. We were disappointed by the lack of BBQ for a place that claims to be a BBQ joint. They had 1 helping of brisket left-nothing else smoked or grilled, we were informed. We were told the ribs weren't smoked either. Our drinks were less than fabulous too. We had bloody Mary's and they had no salt on the rim, garnishes, nor beer chaser. We had to ask for the beer chaser well into our drinks that tasted more like pickle juice than anything. The brisket was good. Big portion. Met a friend there for lunch. They didn’t have everything In stock. However what they did make was pretty great. Friendly staff. The cook even came out and asked what we thought of the food. Burger was juicy.

I like the burgers better than the BBQ. Crisp edge on the toasted, buttered buns brings their burgers to another level. Good sized juicy, beefy patties. Hadn't been to Izzy's for a long time but heard the burgers were still good. The home cut fries were the best, salty, crispy, and a huge portion! My burger was a bit overdone for my liking. I asked the bartender if it could have been made to order and she said yes. The burger was still good and smothered in the big mess of fried onions I ordered. So make sure you let them know if you don't want it well done. The wife's chicken strips and fries were a big portion and we'll fried. Friendly service from Alicia topped off a pleasant stop.

Was up in Superior for an event, really wanted ribs but they were out.
Ordered wings and a Philly cheesesteak. It was really good. Bartender was friendly. Place was clean! If I come back up there I’ll be stopping in again!

Went there for a burger basket which I love and got chicken instead. Incredibly juicy and when I wanted to pay with my Plasma card they payed for it. I told them Donors pays well but never argue with a free meal. Izzy is a great guy. Thanks!!!!

Wisconsin superior’ da çok güzel genellikle sakin bir lokal bar. Çalışanları çok samimi ve eğlenceli. Server was awesome, food was cooked to perfection, onion ring best i have had and seems like a fun place for drinks. 100% recommend it. I order full rack was enough for my husband my 12 yr old myself and toddler for under 50.00

I visited this place with my family and the food was excellent I recommend this restaurant. We drove all the way from Blommington MN for a family road trip and got hungry and all of it was worth it.👍❤️
