After several years of operating from a mobile wagon, Amber Arneson and Jeremy Weed have established J Doggs at a permanent location on 136 South Main Street in Shawano. The new indoor setting allows customers to enjoy their fresh, award-winning chili and a variety of burgers and hot dogs year-round. The remodeled space, formerly Rades Bar & Bowling, retains some of its original features while adding new amenities like golf simulators and a replica of their original food wagon. The family-friendly eatery, designed with Amber’s vision and Jeremy’s carpentry skills, offers a welcoming atmosphere with both indoor and seasonal outdoor seating.

J Doggs for the WIN! I grew up outside Chicago, but have lived in MN the past 25 years. J Doggs brought me right back HOME! The Vienna Beef Hot Dog was FANTASTIC! My wife ordered the chili and LOVED it. She said, “There are so many good tastes in this chili. It is really good!” The atmosphere is awesome inside. We are in Shawano for a wedding, but if we lived here I would most definitely be a regular at J Doggs! Employees were all kind. Food was priced well. And it was DELICIOUS!!! Would loved to have hit the golf simulator as well. What a setup!

Had an awesome time with my family. Golf Simulators are available year-round, including disc golf, bowling and more. The owner was working when we were there and was very hospitable. Very fun atmosphere and a great place to bring your friends and family.. kids will have a blast. The food is great!! The prices are something you can definitely afford and the serving sizes are well worth the prices. I highly recommend trying J Doggs for yourself. You won't be disappointed!!

They've been amazing since the food truck days. Golf simulators (even has disc golf, pitching, bowling and some other games loaded into it) The garlic Parmesan pizza fry things are amazing along with every dog and burger in the menu. Make sure to try some chili and wash it all down with a Sun Drop or Twigs.

The food was delicious!!! The serving size for the affordable prices does not disappoint. My son loved his burger and those cheese curds were FIRE 🔥👌My mushroom swiss burger was the absolute best I've had. I think it's safe to say we have a new favorite restaurant!! Loved chatting with staff/owner and jamming to 80s music. Oh the lemonade is delicious ❤️ can't wait to stop in for the pizza next time 😊

My wife and I were in last week. We look foward to coming here every time we are in town! We came two different days on this trip. Hot dogs and fries one day and pizza on the other. Both were excellent. We've had the burgers too which are also great! The 16" pizza (which has a tad thicker crust than a true thin crust) honestly surprised me on how great it was compared to many other companies! Very gooey cheese and topped out well with toppings and tasty red sauce! Prices are very reasonable. The service is friendly and great. The owner makes it a point to come out and talk to his customers. You rarely see that these days and adds to the experience! I saw one user put a 1 for the atmosphere being bad. Not sure what it would take to satisfy that person as the atmosphere is awesome here! It has a traditional vibe of a hot dog shop blended with classy modern atmosphere with cool lights and a neat lit up bar area along with a golf simulator and another simulator with other activity based games.

The service was poor. We weren't greeted at all when we walked in. The girl at the counter wasn't very helpful.
The food was pretty good! The prices are very fair!
We did get a chance to speak with one of the owners and it made the experience 10 times better. It was great to hear his passion, experience and ambition! Seems like a really nice guy! They have exciting plans! It's a great small business in shawano!

Everything here is delicious! I’ve tried the pizza, hot dogs, chili fries, cheese curds, and my husband has had the burgers! We love it here!
And the lemonade with blue raspberry is my go to! Delicious!!!
Also, you can golf here! What more could you ask for?!

I’m ashamed that Google doesn’t allow a 10 star rating. This place deserves at least 65 stars. The food is amazing and fresh. Quality matters not to mention quantity when you order nachos. Loaded they are. As Yoda once said “Eat here you must!”
Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. They check to ensure you enjoyed your meal when they have time. If something is genuinely wrong they’ll fix it!
As Luke once said “I’d rather leave Han in the carbonate in order to eat his food as well!”
Tigger Wood was here to play on the golf simulator and said “…it’s the closest thing to actually being on the course! Put blinders on me and it’s feel like I was standing on the Green!”
