As someone who grew up in Las Vegas this food hits! The shrimp grits starter was to die for. Ramen had lots of flavor and tasted homemade and the cheesecake lumpia I recommend. My new favorite spot!

Food was okay. The service was good and the kids got free panda stuffed animal. The booths were in rough shape. When you sit in them, your whole body sinks down into the booth making it very uncomfortable. The theme is nice. The first time we went there, my food came with rice however the rice was undercooked. I’m Asian and I eat rice almost everyday, I know what cooked rice is supposed to taste and feel like. Maybe the cooks or chef was rushed the rice process. I’ll try to order the same thing next time to determine whether it was just a bad timing on the rice or not.

First time visit. Easy parking. I had one of the ramen bowls which was okay but l've had better locally. My dining companion had the Korean BBQ fries which was a way overly large portion for an appetizer. Service was good.

I had the traditional chicken dish, which I can't remember what the name of it was. It's the only item listed as a traditional dish. It was just OK for me. I felt like I could just make some chicken in the oven and put it on Rice. My date had the tuna, and we both thought that was really delicious! I will definitely be back to try more things!
The prices are excellent, averaging around $12 per entrée.

Food was great, just keep in mind that this is a fusion restaurant so dishes may not be "authentic". For example the ramen we got was not like tradition ramen from a Japanese restaurant, however it was still good & I enjoyed my time there. There is limited seating & the seats need to be upgraded because you sink so low in them. Service was great though.

Jade Panda apparently opened, like, 3 weeks ago but it doesn’t feel like it. This place is out with a vengeance to be the best Asian food in the Wausau area, which as you know is stiff competition. Ramen was spectacular. The pork belly was crispy, bacon was a fun addition, and the broth was rich and creamy goodness. Bourbon chicken was good, but what made it great was the condiment selection—the “hot” topping spices and the “chili” as well as the fish sauce were great additions, the hot topping being the best we’d had. I’m already coming back next week!

UPDATE: Went back. The Perfect Cast and the Gangnam Style are both stellar. The softshell crab is some of the best seafood you’ll get outside the Pacific and Atlantic, and Gangnam Style is all the creamy goodness you’d want. Yum.

Don’t miss out! The food is outstanding! A must try is their chili oil and green garlic spicy oil with any dish. The green hot chili oil is phenomenal. The ramen is better than any ramen place I’ve tried. Food is so flavorful and fresh. The staff is attentive and kind.

It's very disappointing.Was expecting Pilipino food but not even close. Adobe I don't know what was that very bad. Halo-Halo took 2 bites couldn't swallow it, Garlic Rice OMG, Lola's Lumpia made out of pork worse I cannot even eat it. Took my son I was excited to finally have Pilipino food close to home but OMG I guess I will drive to Chicago at Seafood City anytime to get real Pilipino food. Never come back there again. Very bad to introduce our food on this town I hope people that try eating there don't think our food tastes like this, Nope this is not our traditional Pilipino food. Sorry just wanted to let everyone knows

Jade Panda is a wonderful addition to the Asian restaurant scene in Wausau!! At first we were worried we wouldn’t have a lot to eat as vegetarians, but we had the veggie pancit, panda wantacos without the tuna, and the halo halo for dessert. Everything was amazing!! I am excited to come eat here again!

I love the vibe here. Food was phenomenal. I got the Buddha pork belly sandwich and this chef has mastered pork belly. It is super thick and tender. The fries are probably the best I've had in the area. Service was fast with nice staff. My husband got the BBQ chicken pandit. The flavors blended perfectly and he was able to customize it with the spices at the table. I rate this a 10/10 experience.

First and foremost: Charging $7 for “milk tea” that comes in, what looked to be, 14 oz. plastic Solo cups, is completely unacceptable. What’s even more unacceptable is that I highly, highly doubt that they even contained tea. The brown sugar-flavored one I tried tasted like 2% milk coupled with the cheapest imitation brown sugar flavoring (if you can call it that). My mom tried the strawberry-flavored one and— I kid you not—it looked and tasted nearly identical to the color and flavor of Pepto Bismol. Zero exaggeration. The cups were inundated with ice, too. There are a fair number of places in Wausau that offer boba teas of varying quality, but *none* of them are this caliber of highway robbery & horrid taste. It’s just downright offensive.

It took us almost a half hour just to receive those drinks, and by the time we took our first sips, I was already over it. I tried to explain to the wait staff in the most polite way possible that the quality of service along with the drinks were already so unacceptable that I couldn’t imagine paying for the food when (and if) it finally arrived to the table. So, for that reason, I can’t comment on the quality of the food. Maybe it’s good; maybe it isn’t, but if you’re going to charge *that much* just for awful-tasting beverages in the smallest size of any “boba tea” cups I’ve ever seen, it doesn’t bode well for what the rest of the menu has to offer.

Went with my wife today. Saw that they had bourbon chicken on the menu. I decided to try it and it gets a 0 star. So much liquid it should've been a soup. I'm sure they poured the broth for my wife Ramen into it. Her Ramen was missing broth. When she got it back the broth had no flavor. Noodles weren't cooked properly and the vegetables was wilt.

Overall I will not be eating there again. I'm glad that I did not destroy my memories of Lupia.

Couldn’t wait until opening day! The menu looked amazing and what came out of the kitchen was even better. Orders the Three Little Pigs Ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful and the Pigs 3 ways was delicious, especially the glazed pork belly tocino. In addition, the charred Bok Choy and enoki mushrooms was the perfect complement to a satisfying bowl of food. Will be back to try the rest of the menu! 🐒❤️
