Stopped in and tried the veggie pie - wellll worth the wait. I loved the olives and veggies and it was more pie than I expected between the amount of toppings and overall thickness. I couldn’t eat even half of the smaller size. Cheese bread was bangin as well. Friendly, fast service. Will definitely stop again if I’m back in town.

You know we drove right past Jake’s to go to Aldo’s but they were closed for some reason so we went to Jake’s, surprisingly they weren’t that busy for a Saturday night and now I know why, in all honesty the pizza was not that good, not sure what the cheese is but it’s certainly not a good mozzarella, not stretchy or stringy at all, basically pretty disappointing. I am a firm believer in if a place is good it will be busy and they weren’t and now I know why, I will not be back, that much I know.

5 Irish guys landed in green bay Friday night for Packers Vs niners game. Met Brooke in Lennys Tap bar, she told us to come to Jake's and she'd look after us.. I requested red peppers on my pizza which weren't on the menu, she said she would get them special the next evening. Walking through Walmart next day myself and the lads saw her there peppers in hand.

One of our group got in into Jake's at 8 and brooke had 5 seats reserves at the bar and rest of us arrived little later and we just had the best food and banter for next two hours. Staff in there were go friendly pizzas were delicious. Absolutely made our trip popping into Jake's.. I'm hoping our photo makes it on the wall!!!!!

Pizza is my favorite food. This is an interesting example of a cross between a deep dish and a traditional pizza - it's a long bake like a deep dish, but not nearly as thick in the middle. I found the crust tasty and the toppings were piled on thick. The large comes cut into a bunch of little rectangular pieces, could feed 3-4 people. Some local / WI beer options, and our waitress was nice and always available for a refill. The one thing that surprised me was the lack of additional items for appetizers other than bread sticks, especially given the wait time on the pizza. It's located on Broadway in an old building in an area that's working hard to revitalize. The inside is a funky mix of interior decorating and there's only a few high tops in the front area and then small booths running along the side.

Extraordinary pizza. Deep dish but not deep dish. Crust is like a pastry crust. Does take 30-45 minutes to cook but well worth the wait. Excellent owner operator establishment in downtown Green Bay. Craft cocktails and select local brews are nice touch. Men's bathroom has a pretty sweet used skateboard wall. Have been here many times but not nearly enough. Timmeh bread is fantastic as well. I called in a 14’ pizza for pickup at 3:45 I ordered sausage and cheese.She said ok it will be ready at 4:40.I was there for pickup at 4:30. I got home and was eating at 4:45.This pizza was awful! I love pizza it’s my favorite food. I hated this Pizza. My son is a 10 year old garbage can and even he said it was the worst pizza he’s ever had. The wait was extremely long to be so disappointed with a saucy, overcooked pizza. The place itself was like sitting in a loud bar, which I really did not enjoy. The bathroom was not clean, and there was garbage all over the floor. Maybe I came on an off day given all of the great reviews, but I definitely wasn’t a fan.

Had the worst pizza in my life. Ordered the Ruben pizza as I wanted something different. Pizza arrived with only 3 small pieces of corned beef, its was 99% sauerkraut! 3/4 “ deep with it. It made me sick for 2 days. THATS NOT THE RATIO A RUBEN IS MADE OF! IT SHOULD HAVE PLENTY OF CORNED BEEF NOT ALL KRAUT!!!

Honestly the venue is nice, but overall VERY disappointed… granted it was their anniversary party… 2.5 hour wait for a seat, and then when we finally did get called back to sit it was another 45+ min to eat. Why would you not bring in additional staff to help with the increased clientele. When first walking in the bartender was very rude, yelling “I can’t hear you” and getting aggravated when I tried to help with organizing my parties seating arrangement. The pizza was mediocre, definitely not worth a 3+ hour wait. Will never come back here.

Great pizza! Yes their pizzas take 45 minutes or so to make, but totally worth it. Had been awhile since we have had Jake’s, but ordered two pizzas and a meatball last night and everything was great. My kids split a cheese pizza and ate it all. My son isn’t usually the biggest pizza fan and this was his first time having Jake’s and he’s a fan. My daughter loved it so much she was trying to steal pieces from her brothers plate when she was done. My mom and her boyfriend both raves about the Jake’s special and were questioning why it’s been so long since they had Jake’s. The staff is awesome too. Jake’s is the triple threat, great food, atmosphere, and people. Long live Jake’s!

Pizza…custom toppings. It was horrible. Crust was terrible and burned. We had jalapeños on half but the entire pizza was incredibly spicy. Personally I was disappointed. The pizza was ok, a little overdone, didn't serve with plates, didn't even have them when asked. Our server was a tad crabby and not very attentive. Just had dinner here and it was excellent! Went to Jake's with my family as a kid when they were at another location and recently remembered they existed when I was craving pizza. Server was super friendly and helpful and the pizza was excellent. They don't skimp on the toppings. I'm not normally big on thin crust but they do it extremely well. They have $5.50 tall old fashioneds on Wednesday and Thursdays, mine was very good. They also do a 5% discount if you pay in cash, which is nice. The only minor problem is the parking is very limited but that's to be expected downtown. Definitely would recommend you try it out!

It comes down to preference. To my taste, the pizza was too thin, like eating a pizza on a cracker. The toppings were too light and were cut into tiny squares. Jakes pizza on Thanksgiving for us has been a tradition for many years. After last year of them closing early when we had an order sitting there to pick up & this year closing the entire week of, it is finally time to find a more reliable tradition. I understand being with your family for the holiday but it's also a business so I'm sad to have to make the change.

Edit: You absolutely closed early and after I posted a comment on Facebook I was contacted and an employee drove back to the restaurant to meet my husband. So yes family owned or not we cannot count on the reliability of your hours year to year.
