Food and prices are good. It's nothing outstanding it's just typical bar food. But as far as bar food goes I had a cheeseburger it wasn't greasy which was nice. Portions were good not too little or too much. They appear to be big support your troops business there's veteran support all over the walls. From the few times I've been here the crowd appears to be older senior citizens. From what I've hear others like the wings here, I'm just not a wings person.

Arrived around 6 on Saturday for dinner and no issues getting a table. The server greeted us right away. Started with some cheese curds, which were fresh and hot. Ordered the Saturday special, a burger and fries for just $6. The wife ordered the same, and we could have split the fries. Our kid ordered a pizza, and it was good, just needed a little more sauce. Excellent service, glasses were never empty.

Nice place to stop and grab a decent meal at a great price! My group had 2 sodas and 2 bacon cheeseburgers and the total was $12. That's unheard of in the world we live in now. The food is cooked at the grill directly behind the bar which is neat. The food was good and was full of flavor. The people are nice and welcoming and made sure you are taken care of. The bar is definitely full of locals but everyone was friendly and the atmosphere seemed good. Overall I would say they deserve a 4.5 based on the overall food taste and price. If you in the area or passing through they are worth a stop.

Been coming to the New Franken stein since I was a little kid and I have to say the place has never been better! The new owners put in a lot of work and are great people! Love the regulars. Under investigation for tax fraud. Paying his workers / Bartenders cash under the table and not claiming any on his taxes. Great establishment for the town, not! Another stand up citizen taking advantage of our tax dollars. Cheating the distributors from buying alcohol from local stores and refilling his inventory. Food is horrible and seen cockroaches crawling up the wall and on the floors. Liquor bottles are filled with fruit flies, and the bartender even told me that. She told me the owner refuses to cover them. Another very disgusting environment that should be shut down. Don't eat or drink here. Very disturbing to know and witness.
