Jexi's is a favorite of mine. Vike and the rest of the staff are friendly. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and delighted welcome. I had the ribeye steak and pork ribs. The BBQ ribs were delicious and not dried out or tough. The steak was rare and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor without adding anything to it. To my delight, they had homemade carrot cake. It was the perfect end to a good meal.

I was handed the wrong bill for my table. The waitress took the bill and gave us the correct bill, but we were charged for a full biscuits and gravy instead of a 1/2 order. We had to get the bill corrected again for a second time. The food was good, atmosphere was great, the service was not great, our waiter/waitress made me not want to eat here ever again based on my first time experience ever eating here. Please be careful and watch you bill to make sure it is correct. Misstakes happen, I mean mistakkes,BUT MISTAKES CAN BE CHANGED!!! Have good day!

We (used to) like coming fairly regularly because the food is great, but the bible readings and interpretations (not even hymns) playing loudly now is a huge turn off. Wasn’t looking for a lecture during breakfast. I asked if it was because it was early Sunday morning and was told, “that’s all we listen to here.”

No thanks, I’m not “hangry for Jesus. The good food isn’t worth it, and we probably won’t be back. I’d rather listen to what the guys had on the kitchen.

I have to say we got a ham and cheese omelette which was really really good, the pancakes were exceptionally good, and homestyle potatoes. Seriously great food! The service was also truly fantastic! Our waitresses right there if we need anything and she was a very happy person. Which really appreciated eating here and this is our first time. We will definitely be back!

Jexi's has all of the breakfast favorites on their menu, but I stopped there for Friday fish and wasn't disappointed. The four piece beer battered haddock fully satisfied because it was accompanied by a boat load of fries, a giant bowl of soup, and coleslaw. I ordered a fifth piece ahead of time but didn't need it. The staff is personable and attentive. Plus, the place is clean and conveniently located. They have chilaquiles, too. Dios mio...

A laid back place w great variety of menu items to pick from.
Food is fresh w large portions & is served quickly by friendly staff.: Super refreshing to see how all the staff works together. I peeped into the kitchen & it’s really clean & well organized. If I had to say a neg it would be that the soup is slightly watered down, but that doesn’t & won’t prevent me from ordering it over & over: it’s more then the typical “diner” food you’d expect. If you have a chance to try the garlic aïoli with any of your sandwiches – you won’t be sorry. And save room for the deserts.

We walked in and were greeted and seated right away. First impressions: clean, nicely decorated, and great atmosphere. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. And the food was just *chef's kiss*. I got the pancakes and added bananas on top (which they arranged in a cute little pattern instead of just tossing them on top like other places we've been), and it came with 2 eggs. My son got the French toast fritters and absolutely loved them. There were 9 of them for only like $10, and it came with 2 eggs. My husband got the fajita omelet and said it was incredible and very well made (and he's a chef, so that's like an extra few points, lol). The coffee was honestly the BEST diner coffee we've ever had. I don't normally drink coffee, but after trying my husband's, I ordered my own. All of the dishes and silverware were spotless, and the cups didn't have that odd "dishwasher" smell that a lot of places do. We normally go to Landermans, but this place is like 10x better and cleaner, and they have items that don't have cheese and gravy all over them. 10/10 would recommend, and that's definitely our new breakfast diner.

First Impression: Walked in here for the first time and I was met by a friendly hostess, K Love playing on the radio and a clean restaurant. Despite being very busy on a Sunday Morning, I was seated right away and had a coffee in my hand in under a minute flat!... impressive.

Menu: A fairly standard Americana breakfast and lunch menu. A wide selection of omelets, pancakes and skillets available for breakfast which burgers and hot sandwiches on the lunch menu.

Food:

Meat Lover Skillet- Meat, meat and more meat! I requested poached eggs and they are perfect, not wet from being pulled out of the water. The dish is not greasy and the hash browns are cooked crispy, not burnt or under done.

Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes- The pancake itself is tangy from creamcheese and delicious. The toppings are beautifully done and a perfect combination.

Service: Everyone from the bus boy and the Servers to the cooks in the back are busy! But no swearing, no frowns and no bad attitudes. Very happy with my service from Kinzie. Not a moment with an empty cup and a great attitude.

Took my daughter here for breakfast today. The food took 4 minutes to get to us and was all room temperature some how. There was a hair in my daughter's instant pancakes. One of the slices of bacon looked raw. Great way to waste $30 and leave hungry. Save your money and just go to McDonald's down the street.

Today we stopped in after our option 1 was closed.
Wife got a omelet. Was very runny on the inside and not much for flavor.

I got biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs.
The eggs were runny and had lots of crunchy bits in it (felt like chunks of shell).
The biscuit bottoms tastes burnt.
Gravy had a weird sour taste to it.
After 2 bites of each I was not pleased.
Server noticed and asked if it was not good. I confirmed it was not good in any way.

She than proceeded to charge us for my food that I did not eat.
If I could give a 0 star I would. Next time I'll just stay home and eat cereal.

The food was incredibly delicious 😋 and the amount of food that I received was insanely HUGE. I had cabbage rolls with American fries and I received a huge dinner plate size shallow bowl of american fries that could have been a dinner itself it was so big! The cabbage rolls were delicious and so was the vegetable beef soup. I will definitely be going back even though it is out of my way.

Was always very happy with KFR when they occupied this building, it was my fiancé and I's go to place even though we lived 20+ minutes.
