It's a small eatery perfect when ya don't want a crowded place to eat in.The pizza we ordered was the Large Cheese and Sausage Pizza...we got what we ordered back in the day, a special pizza that's only found in Chicago called Vito Angelo's on Fullerton Ave & Lawndale...This was exactly the same versión..the sauce was super tangy..🤤..the sausage.🤤🤤...and melded in with the cheese and the crunch of the cracker crust 🧑🏻‍🍳...👌🏻.. we'll be back again...thanx to the pizza worker there tht had the names of his babies on his arms.... Every time I order, they forget something it never fails. I'm sad to say this wasn't great for two reasons. First, our pizza was a bit too salty, extremely greasy, and overcooked to the point that the crust was dry, hard, and burnt tasting. Second, the atmosphere wasn't great. It is super hot inside. I understand that they're making pizza, but customers don't want to come in from 95-degree weather and feel like they are walking into the pizza oven! Plus, the young lady in the front pretty much ignored us. We had to wait for someone to come from the back to take our order. He was perfectly nice, but very sweaty, which he wiped with his hands. Then, as we were ordering, someone else came from the back biting into a slice of pizza. Neither was wearing food prep gloves. The visuals were giving unsanitary. This was only my second time here. The first time was ok, this time, not so much. Maybe this was not their best day.

Edit: Adam the owner reached out ant we had a lengthy exchange. He was apologetic, and his customer service really showed he cared. I can’t speak on the food because we haven’t eaten there yet, but we will consider it next time we get a work lunch.
We ordered a large order for our work lunch. They are 10 minutes away from us. After an hour the driver called and said they couldn’t find it. We’re easy to find a big building with huge green letters and we have the address and the name of the business. After an hour and a half called to see where our food was. The person that answered said they didn’t know where their driver was, and they were going to call them. A little more than a half hour later we called them back because we didn’t hear from them. Their answer was well they couldn’t find us so they didn’t bother sending it out again because the food was cold by then.

I normally don't give 1 star reviews to local businesses, but I strongly feel that Jimano's earned it. Would have rated service 5 stars if the nice lady who gave me an update on my order would have delivered on the free desserts she offered us but we didn't get them. We ordered from Jimano's for the first time tonight via doordash at approximately 4:53pm, estimated delivery time was 5:37. We ordered a 16" cheese pizza, and a 12" cheese, pepperoni and mushroom pizza. At 6pm I checked the order, still no driver assigned. So I called Doordash, where I learned that Jimano's Pizzeria uses their own delivery drivers. Understandable. The CS rep called the restaurant for an update for me, they apologized and said they were running a bit behind. Also understandable on a saturday night. But I rested easy knowing my food wasn't sitting under a heat lamp waiting on a dasher (or so I thought). 6:35 PM; my wife and I are now starting to get hangry so I call the restaurant directly to ask for an update. The woman who answered the phone was very polite, and explained the driver was just getting ready to head out with my order, and even offered us free dessert, which we politely accepted. 7:00 PM; driver finally shows up (this place is 3 miles from my house so 30 mins is a bit excessive), I politely greet the driver and ask him if he's having a busy night - he looks exhausted. He hands over our pizza and I wish him a good night. I got inside, open the pizza boxes. Not only are the mushrooms missing from my 12" pizza, but both of them are STONE COLD! I mean come on man! I understand businesses get busy. I really do. And I sympathize. But after all that trouble, the least you could do is make sure my dang pizza gets delivered hot! I could have ordered from Luigis and got the same damn pizza, except they would have gotten the order right and delivered it hot. Unbelievable. I will never. Ever. Patronize this business again.

We order from Jimano’s occasionally for dinner but recently used them for a party. I called a week ahead and spoke with Ryan. He helped me decide how much to order, took my order, scheduled delivery and took payment over the phone. He was very friendly yet professional. On the evening of the party (a Saturday) the order arrived precisely on time. The delivery person was very friendly, polite and accommodating. The pizzas were hot and the salad was cold! They even included silverware packets and plenty of napkins. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely use them again!

Jimano's is timeless. From the rangy cheese with just enough grease to glisten my finger tips to the sauce that's not salt heavy or too sweet but just tasty enough so you know it's there. I've been a customer of Jimano's for 2p years now between the location in Waukegan and the PP location. I have never been disappointed. I drove from Racine to get a great thin crust whenever I need one. This is the only place where I can get some of the best Italian sausage on my pizza and the best Bleu cheese salad dressing I've ever tasted. May they be in business forever!!

This was the first time I had ordered from Jimano’s Pizzeria and will be the last. Garlic bread was below average; however, my biggest complaint was that my order was inaccurate and I paid for somethIng I didn’t receive. You lost a customer. On a side note if I could have given half a star I would have.

A pretty good pizza for the price, comparable to Aurelios in the Chicago south suburbs where I moved from. The double dough is best in my opinion, but others in my household prefer the thin crust. Regardless Jimano’s crushes Luigi’s, which I was told was best when I moved to Pleasant Prairie. Avoid that place at all costs, and order from Jimano’s.

In a city full of great Italian restaurants, I still love this place. They are extremely consistent. I have yet to be disappointed with their pizza. Probably my favorite place for Italian beef and giardinera pizza.
