We were there for lunch for the second time on Tuesday, and needless to say, we will not be going back. This is now the second time we have been in, the first time on a Saturday, and it has been absolutely atrocious. The food is fine, but it's like being the star of a live action training video of what not to do as a server. We sat down at the table and the table had to be wiped because it was dirty. You look around and it's like most of the tables are left dirty and dishes are just left piled on the table instead of being taken away. We had a hard time getting drink refills and it wasn't that busy. They had two servers and it's like nobody knew what they were doing, and they look unkempt. That's not who I really want bringing my food to begin with. When we left everything was on the table, dirty plates, dirty silverware, dirty glasses, dirty napkins, which was similar to a lot of other tables. That is an absolute turn off, and after two similar experiences, we won't be back. I can truly understand why there weren't a lot of customers, I absolutely would not recommend without some serious improvements being made.

Stopped in recently for the first time and had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Crispy, juicy and hot - served on a toasted brioche bun with fresh lettuce, tomato and a creamy mayonnaise. The Kettle Chips were perfect. Good price and great service. You can tell they care about what they do. Looking forward to trying the meatball sub.

Absolutely love this place. Perfect place to go with family and friends. The food at that value can't be beat. Always comes out hot and fresh and feels well put together like they care about it, not just slapped on a plate. It's not fancy, probably not somewhere you'd take a date, but thats not what they are or what they are trying to be. It's exactly like what you have in your mind of a small town diner. Satisfying and filling food, again at a great price. The wait staff are friendly and outgoing - if not a little goofy. If they see this they'll know exactly who i am.

A wonderful small business, locally owned. They can use your support to stay in operation after the C19 lockdown stuff. Enough of these places have closed in the last few years, don't let this place fall through the cracks.

I go with mom every other Wednesday, i have been getting the same burger for the last 8 or so times because it's so good. Mind you i always get different food items whenever i go places, never done this anywhere before.

Irish pub burger on brioche, add american/cheddar, and sweet potato fries. Bacon, little fried onion crisps, a food egg, and Jack Daniel's sauce. The sauce is AMAZING, a little sweet which goes great with savory burger. They do a nice medium without overcooking and with the egg and sauce, so good. The SP fries are always fresh and crispy, why anyone gets regular fries when SP fries are available I'll never know.

Fried chicken made to order moist and crispy, the thousand island burger is awesome, patty melt is juicy. Exactly the type of food that comes from a place like this so you know what your getting and it tastes great at a good price, what more can you want.

Love love this cozy diner! Remember that the door opens often when sitting close to the front. It can get a bit chilly. Waitresses are all amazingly nice and funny! Watch out-they have all potato and dessert options memorized! Love it! A small town neighborhood place :) Food was delicious and low in salt. My perch sandwich (recommended per our waitress) was so delicious and simple. Not greasy, not salty yay! We decided on the tater tots no salt and they were just as yummy!!! Definitely don’t come here if you have horrible OCD, we had to use a baby high chair and there was a fork stuck to it as long with some dried soda spots. We even had to wait 43 minutes exactly to food and when we were about to leave it came out. The food is okay, is meh. Wouldn’t come again if I wanted too. Our waiter was nice, kinda judgmental when I told her I wanted a rootbear float she was like, “are you sure? Or do you want to wait after food?” Like why are you questioning me??? I’m gonna pay to eat here, your opinion shouldn’t matter, just saying🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. But all in all, wouldn’t recommend.

I was working on my Lady son car .I asked her to go get some chicken 🐔 from Jim's Grill around the corner in Cedarburg.i was wondering what took her so long .come to find out they didn't never put her chicken order in and kept giving her and her son the run around and making excuses until she told me that he was making excuses about forgetting to put her order in.but it was because she was black ⚫️ and I can't believe the discrimination that they received when I given this business my money. Because I worked in Cedarburg but what they didn't know is we order chicken all the time with my job ..you just didn't know people of color were eating your chicken ..because my boss was Caucasian and he always picked it up.but to treat my family 👪 and my lasy and her son with discrimination. I hope no one gives you business..it's sad that your money is Green like everyone else..and we all bleed the same color .to give them the run around and all you shouldn't said was I didn't want to serve you because u were black and that .we look different...please don't eat there or give any business to this company to treat people of color or any color with discrimination and playing games .with someone. Service not good. Food was ok. Had gyros. Asked for no onions (allergies) on gyros, but had. When we arrived, we seated ourselves, like the sign said, and were handed menus. No service after, until I spoke up, 20min later. Other guests were being waited on, even for water, coffee etc., but we were walked around and ignored, not even asked if we wanted or given water. Jim's Grill was maybe, at best, half full of customers. Talked to our waitress, after we ate, about this and she did apologize. But I don't like being left in 'no man's land'. I don't expect select service either and I don't like giving negative reviews. One day, we may try Jim's Grill again.

I was warmly greeted, directed where to sit. It wasn't very busy for a Friday fish fry night. Server was kinda slow and forgetful. I asked for beer 2 times, was brought a beer menu, the server never came back. For appetizers, I had onion haystack, a mountain of deep fried onion strips. I had a 3 piece fish fry dinner, came with french fries, 2 slices of buttered rye bread, small bowl of coleslaw. The food was good portions, tasty, and satisfying for after a hard day at work. Sure could have used a beer. Don't know why the server didn't want to work. There wasn't a crowd driving her crazy.

Decent food and usually good service. The service staff is generally young so it can be hit or miss at times on their speed, but they are friendly and the food is always good. I love their poppers, and have had the gambit from breakfast to meat ball sub to just apps, and I'm never disappointed.

My only true downside is the TV's usually have the news on even in the evening. Would prefer sports or even a cheesy movie. Overall, one of the better diners in the area.

This place is less than a mile from where I just moved. A coworker suggested it and I looked on their menu and saw biscuits and gravy! I lived in West Virginia for awhile and have travelled south a lot and I have trouble finding a good biscuits and gravy dish up north. Jim's Grille definitely does it right. I am so glad to have ordered from here and will definitely be back. As soon as I walked in I was warmly welcomed by both customers and the waitress. It gave me the feeling as if I had been coming here for years. I sat outside and was surprised on how filling the food was. Usually at breakfast places I'm hungry an hour later but this meal kept me full well until my lunch!

My next destination of the Foodie quest takes me once again to the city of Cedarburg, Wi. This time we had an opportunity to dine in at Jim's Grille. It was a laid back place that let us chose where we wanted to sit.

Wonton Pepper jack sticks were a nice twist on the classic mozzarella, with a nice crispy exterior and creamy pepper jack cheese on the inside.

Combo plate the broccoli cheddar bites were nice and warm and the chicken tenders were very crispy. Those were amazing. However the last item the crispy onion strings were a generous portion, albeit a little tepid. They rewarmed it and it was still good.

Southwest steak wrap with an herb tortilla was amazing and juicy with a small kick of spice. It was warm and a bit zesty. The herb tortilla brought in more flavor to the dish.

The chicken club wrap was amazing and was packed like a Tetris game lol! Everything inside was extremely flavorful, from the tender chicken to all the other stuff included it was an easy 4 star meal!

These wraps came with chips normally, I'm wondering why there is an upcharge for fries when a good chunk of people would prefer them instead. Overall it was a pretty good experience with a nice take on some classics.

A couple weeks ago I ordered and paid for three dinners and was given my order 10 minutes later than told. I got home and only two dinners were in the bag and had to go back to pick up the third dinner. Tonight I ordered one dinner and was told it would be ready at 610. Got there and paid for my dinner at 610. I was given my dinner at 633. To many good places in Cedarburg to have to settle for this poor service.

Went here a few weeks ago to start off the girl told me my food would be ready at 7:15 I waited until 7:45 then when I got home realized one of the burgers was wrong my wife called and said she could have a free one next time she came in. Last Thursday we ordered 2 burgers the acknowledged we had a free one coming so I go to pick it up and they only made 1 burger and said if I wanted another would be another 15-20 min. I was so frustrated I just left they have ruined 2 dinners for us in the last 2 weeks.
