Anybody traveling to Door County or in the area, Joe Rouer's Bar is the place to stop. I always get their double cheeseburger with fried onions. Juicy and delicious. Then a bowl of their Chicken Booyah. Flavors bursting in your mouth eating it. In facy, I purchased a large container to take home for during the week. A must stop.

We just happened to be passing through town and read some reviews on this place. Wow, what a great stop for dinner. They have a very small basic menu, so we decided to order almost everything they offer. We had a burger, cheeseburger, mini corn dogs, chilli, cheese curds, onion petals and spuds. We were not disappointed with any of our choices! The food was EXCELLENT! The service was quick and our server, Melanie (?), was absolutely wonderful, so accommodating to our kids, polite, friendly, and even shared some local meat as a sampler. I will definitely stop in again when passing through the area.

I recently visited Joe Rouer’s Bar and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel right at home.

Heading home after a few days up in door county. We took this little bypass looking for a new joint to hit and we found one this place rocks! If you like a burger as in hamburger, this is your go-to! I love the simple and basic menu burgers and just some sides. Very clean place. Absolutely spotless staff never stops working. Seems like we met the owners. They were busy working hard and greeting customers! I definitely give it five stars for cleanliness, speed of service, quality and value for what you get. Totally enjoyed the burger. It's our next go-to is we just make a little bypass off of 57 on the way home. Plenty of parking even if you bring your boat along like we had!

Memorable experience. Had a wonderful lunch outing with a group of 10 friends from a senior living complex. Everyone raved about their meals. Rouer's is famous for its hamburgers and desserts. If you plan on paying with a credit card watch your statement. Charged my card a 108% tip. Tried to contact multiple times with no response. Food was average for what it is, way too much butter/grease on the burgers. Another iconic burger and a must stop on my burger tour. I suspect they have a unique method of cooking the beef that I was not able to extract from the server. Regardless of the method the result was a mouth watering and unique hamburger. I'd have to drive 2000 miles to have another one, but if I'm in the area I will definitely stop by.
