We went to Jordy’s Restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and I’m so glad we chose this place! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing.

A special shoutout to Tracy, our server..she was beyond amazing! So kind, attentive, and genuinely made our dining experience extra special. It’s rare to find someone who truly goes above and beyond like she did.

The only small thing I’d mention is that the table could use a bit more lighting, it was a little hard to read the menu. But other than that, everything was perfect.

Highly recommend Jordy’s Restaurant, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Tracy as your server!

My mother and I had dinner here while we were visiting Watertown. I’m so glad it was near our hotel and I found it when I googled “steakhouse”… I had the 8 oz filet and she had the NY strip with onions and a side of mushrooms. She was CRAZY about the tiny mushrooms. She made me take a picture to send my husband (they love mushrooms whereas I do not). They were the best steaks we have had for a long time, and I plan on driving over an hour to come back with my husband. We usually pay way more for a lesser steak when we go out, and I’m excited to come back! My 4/5 on atmosphere is because of the prominent bar (it smells like a bar when you walk in).

The food was all very excellent. I ordered a filet, the loaded garlic mashed, a salad and also the French onion soup (which was AMAZING). It was reasonable price to upgrade sides or add enhancers to your steak. A basket of bread came to the table and it was very hot and seemed to be fresh, and I loved it because then the butter easily melted on. The staff were all SUPER friendly. The food came quickly, the restaurant itself was clean, the restrooms were clean. This was definitely a hidden little gem and I would 100% come back!

Their French Onions Soup was disappointing!

My steak, T-BONE was well over cooked! Wanted medium rare & got medium well, the first attempt!

The remake was spot on!

My wife loves her stakes raw aka Blue as a previous chef! She also had jumbo shrimp added!

First restaurant in 15 yrs to get it right the first time❤️

She got a baked potato w/sour cream. Her sour cream was expired!!!Hurst!🤬

They didn't offer to replace her bake potatoe due to expired sour cream!

I visited this place a week ago, and while the atmosphere itself is already incredible, what truly made my experience unforgettable was our server, Alexxis. From the moment we sat down, her energy lit up the entire space. She was warm, genuine, and effortlessly attentive; always one step ahead, making sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask.

It’s rare to come across someone who takes so much pride and joy in what they do, but Alexxis truly went above and beyond in every way. Whether it was menu recommendations, customizing a few things for us, or just the way she made everyone feel welcome, it was clear she genuinely cared about creating the best possible experience.

This was our first time here. I called ahead and asked if I needed a reservation for 4 people. The person who answered was very polite and told me one was not needed. We showed up around 5:45 and, although it was busy, we were seated immediately. Our waitress, Maria, was great! Very friendly and attentive. We ordered our meal with our drinks. Drinks and salads came out very quickly. The rest of the food came out in a timely manner as well. I like my steak well done and it was perfect and still juicy. The overall vibes were really good and our server Lexi was amazing. She had high energy, constantly smiling and always checking in on us which was awesome. The downfall of the whole experience was the food. I ordered a filet medium well, when it finally came out to the table and I cut the steak it was very bloody. I let Lexi know and she apologized and took it to be cooked more. When it was brought out yet again this time it was very burnt on the outside yet the inside was still bloody. It felt like the cook just decided to turn up the heat high to hurry up the process of “cooking” it more but instead burnt the steak with the inside still not being the way I requested.

I recently visited Jordy’s Steak House and had a mostly positive experience. The atmosphere was great—homey, unique, and definitely not your typical steakhouse vibe. It felt inviting and comfortable, which was a nice change.

The service was excellent, and the mashed potatoes were very good, though I would have liked a bit more seasoning from the kitchen. Nothing a little salt and pepper couldn’t fix, but enhancing the flavor could make them even better.

The pricing was a bit on the expensive side, but the overall experience made it worthwhile. I appreciate the effort put into making the place feel special. Would definitely return for the atmosphere and friendly service!

Extremely disappointed in this place. Just accidentally discovered Jordy's a month ago after getting a nearby haircut. Had a few drinks an Appetizer, and took home a meal for my Wife. I really thought this might become a go to place for us and we dine out frequently. Tonight, we happened to be in town(live rural) and I asked my Wife and kids if they'd like to have a soda before we go home to eat. They were excited. I planned on a nice cold beer and the Wife and kids were hoping for a lemonade. We walked in and were promptly offered a table and I said thanks but we're just going to sit at the bar for a soft drink or two. I felt a strange vibe immediately, but couldn't put my finger on it. There was nobody tending the bar and we waited longer than should be for service, but someone did keep poking their head in advising we'd be helped soon. Yeah, right! Soon, a woman came out and advised that kids cannot be seated at the bar after 6pm. What? First of all, what magically happens at 6pm? We were the only people at the bar and there weren't many dining. I realize I'm a bit older generation and remember going with my Father to bars all the time when he managed softball. I wondered if this is some kind of Government rule, but when I looked it up, my understanding is that legally, underage kids, when accompanied by Parents can not only be in a bar, but they can legally consume alcohol. Now I'm not asking for that. I just want to enjoy a beer while they sit with Mom and Dad and enjoy a lemonade. This must be a stupid rule of the establishment and we were very disappointed. I will not be back to Jordys ever, and it was in line to be our new local place to eat. There are too many accommodating establishments that better deserve our hard earned money.

Took my ex-wife out for dinner, as a thank you. Waitress was very nice, and attentive.
I ordered the 8oz. Filet and shrimp. I ordered my steak medium. To me, it was rare. But filets & prime rib cuts, each chef has their own take on cook temperatures. I sent it back and came back ok.
Prices are a bit high for the ambiance, drinks are pricey & not very good.
All in all, I would go again.

It's sure nice to have something other than a generic fast food place in town. Ate here as group of 4. I can say that the fried cod and the grilled shrimp are great. I had the bone in ribeye, which was a little basic. Salty with not a ton a flavor. But I will say typically, when I order my steak rare, it comes out still half cooked. The Tuesday night started slowly as we waited an inordinate amount of time for our drink order to be taken. Appetizers came out quickly, DO order the spinach artichoke dip, very tasty! Soup and salad were brought out nearly together and before appetizers were finished. Proper service dictates waiting for one course to finish before bringing out the next. I have no doubt if we would have placed the entire order at once everything would have been brought out at the same time. Dinner presentation was non existent as were the steak knives. Just dropped the steak on the plate and called it a day. Note, you do not eat with just your mouth. Over all, everything was cooked properly and was tasty, filet was very tender! Sadly, salt is the favorite seasoning in the kitchen as EVERYTHING was overly salted. Staff needs to be less heavy handed in this regard. No offer of a drink refill or dessert. We were the last table in the place (at 7:30pm) and were clearly done eating yet still had to wait 10-15 minutes to pay after receiving the check. Lots of potential here but it won’t be reached without some changes.

We were excited to try a new place. We were seated right away. It was not busy. We sat down got water right away. Bread probably arrive 15-20 mins in. We didn’t order fancy drinks…. Water and ice tea. My husband had to go to the bar to get a refill on water. The service was lack luster at best. It took quite awhile to get our food. Again it was ok. Nothing that was spectacular. We had to always ask for a refill, nothing came without asking. The waiter couldn’t get water, he had to tell someone else. They need some systems improvements.

Then comes the bill. We got the wrong one. My husband had to tell the waiter he was wrong. Then the waiter stood over my husband as he was paying leaning over his shoulder for what he was getting for a tip.

We walk out to the parking lot and another couple says to us… well that was an experience.

High hopes… but likely won’t be back.

For starters service was terrible, never greeted, waited 15 minutes for water, 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken once that was placed we asked to order right away. We were told “let me put that in and I’ll be back.” Another 10 minutes went by then we placed our order. Food did come out at a reasonable time, French onion soup was very salty, 8oz filet was grainy, not medium like ordered and very salty. A good steak should not need to be loaded with salt and other random seasonings. The 1/2 rack of ribs was the smallest 1/2 rack I have ever seen, food was nothing to brag about. Ate there Wednesday evening. Had to wait 25 minutes to order a drink and dinner. There were 2 large parties and only 2 wait staff. But, we were ok with the wait. The shrimp cocktail was good but was a little fishy smelling. The 3 steaks ordered were dry or grisly. They tasted very good but were not prime quality. The salmon had good flavor but was overcooked.
Sorry to say it wasn't a super meal. On a positive note the prices are reasonable. But if you are looking for a great steak go to Palmer's or Kurt's. You will pay more but will be way happier.

Went on a Friday mid afternoon party of 5. Order drinks and an a single appetizer. Drinks were adequate, but refills seem to take longer than they should as there were very few patrons. When orders were taken, sides seemed quite small and some were brought late after needing to remind staff of them missing. Three of us ordered the ribeye medium rare. All three were at best a half inch thick, with one being medium. Mine was at best a select cut, or lower as it was not tender and had a connective tissue through its entire center. Expected a restaurant with “Steakhouse” in its title to have a better grade of meat.

Okay…for local cuisine…this puts on some pretty darn tasty morsels. Being a kids who spent many years on Texas, I stamp this place with my Certified Steak Approver seal. It does come at a cost…but the belly never lies. You’ll see a waiter there named Bilzon. Gosh, they need to get that man some wheels on his feet, he’s moving so fast! Literally did the job of 10 people. If the government could find politicians and employees with his ethics, we’d have a surplus in a matter of weeks.

Ps…the wife said the lemon drop is the best she’s had since we were down south.

Usually, when you work in restaurants, you see how the food is cooked and how the people are there. And wouldn’t be your first choice to go out to eat with your family. But honestly, for being a worker at Jordy's, l absolutely think this is a great place to work and to eat. All of my coworkers are so nice, and the cooks are great. I would say this would still be my first option for coming to eat, even if I didn't work there. Absolutely beautiful, and I have never worked in a restaurant that is so clean and tidy.

Very disappointing! Adding this to the long list of Watertown restaurants that I will not patronize. Got fish fry carryout. First off, our order was incorrect. The fish and french fries were so greasy I couldn't eat more than a couple bites. Mac & Cheese tasted weird, it was like they put parmasan cheese on noodles and called it Mac & Cheese. Expensive meal to just thow in the trash!

We went to Jordy’s for my mom’s birthday and the customer service was as top-notch as the food! Kudos to Bilzon for making sure we were cared for and had everything we needed during the delicious meal. From the staff to the venue itself, Jordy’s is a quality steakhouse I would encourage anyone to go to - we will definitely be coming back! 🍻

I'l start with the food looked amazing but was very deceiving. My steak was supposed to be medium I got rare. my husbands was supposed to be extra well done and was medium rare. Sent his back and received it back still extremely under cooked. Took over 20 minutes just to get our drink order. (waitress was very Unattentive which at 1st i was understanding because it was busy but even after it died done the service was still bad) Talked to waitress about how bad the food was.. we got a sorry offered to cook it more after it was already sent back once. With the porterhouse steak I had i got a salad and loaded mashed potatoes. the cucumbers on my salad where frozen and potatoes where cold.. i was so excited about this meal as it was for my anniversary but I left with barely eating and let down. Will not return or recommend.

This place is a hit. A place to go here in town when you want really good food. The boneless ribeye medium rare, the blackened salmon, the green beans…. Awesome. Start with the hand breaded fried pickles. Best we have ever had. Service can be a wee bit slow, but it can get busy

All I can say is WOW!! We made a reservation for 530 on a Saturday and I’m glad we did. So many people inside. All the staff was super nice! We got seated within a few minutes. Sally our waitress was very busy tonight but she was super friendly, attentive and we enjoyed talking with her. The food though was AMAZING! The soups are delicious, spinach dip was piping hot and full of flavor. The steaks were all melt in your mouth and seasoned to perfection. Chicken alfredo was super good too! With how busy it was in there, our waitress was very prompt and the food came out faster than expected. 10/10 would recommend!!

There’s another review here say it’s “mediocre at best” and I couldn’t agree more. I’ll start with my meal. The best thing on my plate tonight was the loaded baked potato side that I had with a 6oz filet and shrimp. I got four large shrimp, two were damn near raw, one tastes like it had gone bad and the last one was fine. The steak was finished at the perfect temperature however, it tasted bitter, as if it was cooked on a dirty grill. The service was terrible as well. She did not introduce herself when she got to our table and seemed very socially awkward (not the best as a waitress imo). No one cleared our table as we finished drinks, bread and soup (see photo). At the end our waitress admitted to forgetting about us as she “tends to start many tasks”.

I came in to town for a visit with my brother, we stopped in to try the newest place in our hometown that everyone has been talking about.

The good: we were seated right away, and the restaurant is clean and tidy. Drinks (a chocolate martini and a Whiskey Daisey) were GREAT. My Ribeye was cooked as requested, and the portion very generous. It had a nice flavor with the herb butter a nice addition. The bar is a bright spot with a great variety of cocktails, ours were well made. The wine list is sparse but has some GREAT selections that pair well with the menu, including Josh Cellars Pinot Noir which is one of my current favorites to pair with steak. The bar sent a generous pour of that Pinot. Our server was fast and we didn't wait long for our meal.

The less exciting parts: my brother's loaded baked potato was cooked all the way through, BUT lukewarm and the cheese was not melted and it wasn't going to be. I'm not sure how that happens! His bone in ribeye was also cooked medium well, when he asked for medium rare. Both cuts of meat were a little less tender than we expected. The "seafood bisque" was ungarnished and uninspiring. And optional "seafood topping" could be a way to add a reasonable cost "Oscar style" option.....but it came across as crab meat from a can on top of the steak. The soup came out quickly, however, they forgot my salad until our entrees were brought out, which really disrupted the flow of my meal and experience. Given it was fairly slow at the time, that was inexcusable. The salad was plentiful, fresh, and tasty, however.

Plating and presentation was more "Perkins" than "Flemings" and the atmosphere created by the furnishings, bright lighting, windows overlooking a parking lot, and Pop Country music did not feel "premium".

It was a Sunday night when we visited, and it wasn't super busy which makes it a lot more difficult to overlook the mistakes with the quality and timing.

Summary: the food seemed equal to slightly better than a Texas Roadhouse, Outback, or Applebees (albeit with a slightly more upscale menu) served in a brighter, simplified, slightly discordant dining environment, with inconsistent quality. Hopefully they can grow to align more consistently with the praise they've been getting from the local community.

Service was slow due to staffing, but the staff that showed up were excellent and the food was superb! We watched tables complain but the 1 server and manager were busting their butt! Well worth the wait ! Steak was cooked perfect and ribs were excellent! We will visit again! Thank you!!!

Over two visits we’ve had the cheese curds which are some of the best we’ve had in the area, chicken sandwich, house burger, Friday fish fry and the NY strip, all were wonderful and worth getting again! First time here. Restaurant itself is very nicely done snd appealing…Didn't know what to expect considering its in a strip mall. We had a great experience. Service was very fast and frequent. Food came out immediately. I had the ribs (very meaty, tender, and the bones popped right out). My son had the chicken Alfredo. Both meals were very good and reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning.

We were seated right as we got in. The seats and table were clean with no residues. However the lights kept flickering and the game on the TV was shut off partway through the meal. We were given our water after we were seated, and our orders were taken in about 5-10 minutes. Unfortunately, other than my husband's beer, mine and our other friends drinks were not brought out until we received our entrees, they forgot the croutons on the house salad, the butter for the bread was unspreadable and hard, and they forgot our steak knives so we had to ask for them. The iced tea tasted like water and was a waste of money, the steak tasted good but 2 of the 3 were undercooked (asked for medium rare) the sautéed onions were sour witch meant they either weren't cooked right or had gone bad (only $2, but nonetheless wasted money) they brought out nachos with extra toppings even though it was meant to be regular and no extra (I understand it's "free extras" however no one at the table liked sour cream or guacamole) our server was nice and we still tipped as we understand it is newly opened, however we will not be returning until they are more established or perhaps when they have more experience.

Not sure how good the food is because we waited to be seated and they send you a text message apparently but we never got one. Then we sat there waiting for 40 mins and watched others be seated before us. So we said something and there response was we sent you something already. Never received anything. Also would not let us have a booth cause we were told it would ruin the flow of things. No compensation on the 30 dollars spent on 2 drinks. Just let us walk out in disappointment.

Jordy's Steakhouse is a fantastic addition to Watertown! Our area really needed a steakhouse, and Jordy’s offers a great alternative to the usual dining spots. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and as expected from the wonderful owners, the service is top-notch.

Yes, the prices might seem a little high for the area, but don’t let that throw you off. This is a steakhouse, and the quality of the food makes it worth it! For $25, you can enjoy a 6 oz filet with soup or salad and a side—great value for a supper club-style experience.

We had a great time and can’t wait to go back. We highly recommend it!

My honest opinion of Jordy’s the first week that they were open. The location isn’t perfect and at first I was a bit apprehensive about going there because of this, but I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked through the doors. We were greeted by a large, very clean well decorated and well lit bar. The color scheme was nice. A little brighter than most fine dining restaurants, but I actually liked that. The young man behind the bar was very friendly and talkative. He made us feel very welcome. After a couple pre-dinner drinks, we were led to a table (given a choice on where we would be the most comfortable) and were quickly greeted by our waiter, who told us his name was Meer, for short. He was so attentive and friendly! We ordered an appetizer of shrimp cocktail that came to our table less than a minute after we ordered it. The cocktail sauce was a little thin, but the shrimp was large and delicious. The complimentary crusty bread served with dinner was very good. My husband and I both ordered the French Onion soup. The soup (in my opinion) was absolutely amazing! It was a bit more bold in flavor than traditional French Onion soup and also quite thick…but a great flavor! I thoroughly enjoyed the soup! My husband ordered a t-bone and Meer suggested he cut into it to make sure it was cooked to his order. Unfortunately, it was a bit more medium than the medium rare that he ordered, but he chose to enjoy it anyhow but did comment on the overcooked steak so that the cook could learn from it. He was pleasantly surprised when Meer told him that management approved a 50% discount due to the overcooked steak. He said it was fantastic anyhow. I ordered grilled salmon and it was perfectly cooked. The seasoning was a bit salty…BUT - I loved it anyway. It was very good! Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Jordy’s and will definitely return. Higher end restaurants in Watertown are an exciting addition and I urge everyone to give them a try. Way to go, Jordy’s! Welcome to town, we wish you all the best!
