This place carries on in the spirit of the original owner, Jorgie. They not only kept the name, they kept the 5-star reputation he had and they are proud to continue to do so. The food menu is typical mid-Wisconsin bar fare, but the quality is second to none, always great tasting, seasonal, and impeccably served down to the details. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!! Bacon Double Cheeseburger that I almost couldn't finish, it was so large. I NEVER say that. Fries were perfect. I usually order 2 entrees elsewhere at some places. My advice. Don't try that here.😁

Stopped in a Saturday for a bite to eat. I’m not from the area so I wasn’t sure what to expect but was greeted quickly and got my order taken almost right away. Friendly hard working staff got my food out in about 10 minutes. burger was great. Would recommend!!

We went for dinner. After placing our order we went out side to wait. We waited over an hour for our food so we decided to just pay for our drinks and go. They tried to place another order for food but we just wanted to go. They did not charge us for the drinks. I'm sure this place is nice we just had a bad experience.

Recently I saw a review of Jorgies on a Friday Night that had a customer very upset with their wait for Food. Now I have been coming to this bar for the last 30 years and have found that the wait is worth it, and by wait I mean I don't care how long it takes because I'm out with Family and Friends. Obviously this last weekend was absolutely crazy busy, parking lot was packed and inside and outside bars were full. The wait staff was running their tales off trying to keep everyone happy, and might I say they did a Damn good job. If you are the kind of people that like to go out and enjoy yourself this is the place to be. Jorgies waitstaff is very upfront on how long you can expect to wait. I have been to numerous places that I have waited for over 2 hours (Black Otter) and its been worth the wait. So for you customers that don't mind a wait on a busy night, Saddle up and hit the Shag bar for some fun and good times while you wait for some of the best Food and Drinks in the area. Keep up the Great Job Jorgies!!!!!

Tried to dine tonight, June 20th. Waited 2.5 hours for a fish fry, and finally had to leave. Our kids go to bed at 8, and it's currently 8:40 - we arrived at 6 and placed our order immediately. No one checked in on us about our food, and when we asked for the check - they tried to charge us for food we never received. I'd give zero stars if I could!

Best fried perch anywhere! Kind of in the middle of nowhere but we love the 30 minute drive to get that fish fry! Awesome staff. Nothing fancy and always quite busy on Fridays. It's busy for good reason. You can expect to wait for a table so enjoy some drinks while you're there.

Everything we have ordered has always been fresh and absolutely delicious!! I love the haddock & fries, and my husband enjoys burgers. We both like the pizza, and a MUST try... cheese curds! A hidden gem. Went several times for perch, haddock and walleye and was the best I've ever had anywhere.
I gave atmosphere 3 stars cause I'm not big on loud bars, however if you go during warm months, there is outside seating which is really simple and quiet.
You won't be disappointed by the quality of their fish

Happening spot for Friday night fish fry. Great seafood options. I had the regular order shrimp, 6 nice size shrimp and delicious potato salad (French fries are another side option). Really good Old Fashions too!
A bit noisy at the bar but there's side rooms where its quieter. But the bar is where the fun's at too.
I've been there with a large group for lunch and that's been good too. Servers are very nice and accommodating.

We decided to take a short drive from Oshkosh and give this place a try. What a pleasant surprise, and affordable as well.

I had the bacon cheeseburger special with fried pickles and my wife had the Jorgie Special with fried asparagus. Both of our sandwiches were tender, full of flavor, juicy, well-seasoned, and decently sized. Both side dishes were excellent.
