Used to be my favorite spot, one of there servers spilled a gallon of margarita mix all over me and my 1000$ dji pocket 3 on accident. I tried to file a claim they wouldn’t let me I tried to be reasonable with them they wanted to cover there tracks and talk in Spanish not knowing I understood what they were saying. The server went out on her own limb to give me money which I wanted to avoid and have it go thru the company but they wouldn’t give me any form of trust to leave so I took the money and apparently now they refuse to service me and make me look like and feel like I did something wrong which isn’t right.

Please listen to the reviews. Gave this place a try and it was visibly unappetizing when the food came out. Took a bite of the taco and that was the most bland previously frozen chicken I’d ever had. The rice and beans were just as bad, even the salsa was lackluster. The server completely disregarded the fact that we didn’t touch our food and shrugged his shoulders when we mentioned our dissatisfaction. There was no service in between receiving the food and the bill. I’ll never step foot in this place again.

I have been stopping here 1x monthly with some coworkers. We have been going to the bar, we go around 3pm there is typically very few to no one at the bar. It’s the same bartender. Each time he makes up a different rule regarding how he would like to handle the checks. First time he flat out refused and told use that we all ordered together so we have to pay together. Second time he was more accommodating and provided separate checks and allowed us to start a tab and close out (as a normal bar would). Today we went and he told us they don’t do separate checks and we would need to close out for each drink/food item we purchased. So each persons card was ran multiple times during the visit. Why wouldn’t Jose’s train their bartender to start a tab? The bartender is not friendly and is generally rude. Not worth it for us to bring our business here.

I ordered a dish that I've had in numerous Mexican restaurants. The taste has been consistent. Here, the taste was different and not good. I sent it back and got tacos, beans, and rice. The beans had a different taste, I ate 1 bite of 1 of the tacos (chicken), which was not good either.
I've eaten here before and at the other location. I've not had this bad of an experience before. I'm unsure if I'll return.

I went to this place and the food was fantastic! Had the fajitas, they had a great flavor and cooked to perfection. The margaritas were really good too. I had a coconut one and my friend had one on the rocks, you could actually feel the alcohol hit you! The service was excellent! I had lost my parking ticket, and the waiter was super kind and gave me his to get out of the lot. This was our 2nd visit there, and I got to say I have been impressed with the food, drinks and service. All was top notch, looking forward to going back and trying their Palomas!

Came here Saturday 3/15 around 12:30pm. We were told it would be a 20-minute wait for a table for 2, which we were fine with. Then they said, or you can just sit at the bar, and we would still receive full service. The bar was empty, so we opted to sit there since we just wanted a drink and an appetizer anyway. Bartender promptly took our order of drinks. Then crickets....we sat right in front of the register, so he passed us several times, we were noticeably looking at the food menu. He never checked back with us. Other people were served drinks and food at the bar. Finally, we just decided to leave, I asked for my check of a whole $8.50. I left no tip, I work in the service industry, and I always tip well, but really? It was terrible service, and I was irritated. Well, fast forward 2 days, and my statement for my bill is $16.50. Bartender left himself an almost 100% tip. Needless to say, that is theft, $8 will not break the bank, but I wonder how often this establishment does this. Beware and double-check your bank statements after going here. I will not be returning.

I come here all the time for happy hour and always have a great time, so I was excited to bring my family when they were visiting. First, they wouldn’t seat because we were missing one person who stuck in the lot next to Jose’s because the arm to let cars in and out was malfunctioning. We decided to grab a drink at the bar while we waited, and the bartender was incredibly rude. We asked him if we could grab some drinks when he had a minute and he said “yeah. When I have a minute.” And walked away. When we finally were seated, they put six of us at a four top table in the very back corner of the restaurant and pulled up extra chairs. It was very tight and uncomfortable on top of our waiter also being rude! Mind you, the restaurant was empty! Sadly, I won’t be coming back here. I loved this place before last weekend but was incredibly disappointed by this experience.

We've been to this restaurant many times before, always had a good experience until now. We had a party of 7 on a Monday night, we're seated after about 30 minutes. We ordered 2 table side guacs and had to wait until after that to place our food orders. When we did that, it took about 1 additional hour for the food to come. The server did tell us that they were backed up in the kitchen but we're working on our order. When the food arrived most of our items were lukewarm or actually cold. When we brought it to out server's attention, she said that they could warm up our dishes but that it will probably take a long time for them to remake our food an items like tomatoes and lettuce don't taste good if they're reheated. She did say that the manager was willing to deduct the cost of one order of guac. We also mentioned the fact that our food was cold to a host when we were leaving and she said that she was sorry to hear that and the kitchen was really backed up today. I would think that for a party of seven that had a bad experience that they would have offered us more of a refund or quickly remade our food. Not blaming this on the server I think she was very overwhelmed this evening. It's really sad because the food probably would have been delicious if it was hot.

I attended a 30th birthday party for one of my good friends and had a good time. They had a margarita station and taco buffet and it was very private with access to restrooms on the second floor. I recommend this space for group entertaining up to around 35-40 people max in the back room. I believe if you reserve the whole upstairs then you can get access to the balcony, but as it was it was very enjoyable.

Typically I don’t do poor reviews, but this experience just straight up sucked. The tamales were incredibly dry & the quesadilla had no flavor. When we got our bill it included another tables food. Our server took forever to come back & I had to go find someone to let them know our bill was wrong qnd how I can get it fixed. The person I talked to literally just told me to sit back down and wait. I could totally understand if they were crazy busy but the place is empty. It does happen but I was shocked when the waiter came back to me with the check that i already paid to ask me what he did wrong. Basically, he was asking me why I gave him less tip. I already gave 14% tip, and it is my choice to give whatever. He also kind of handed to me to add more tip after i told him that he did well and i did because I had a guest with me. it was embracing. I Had to explain to my guest how much i gave and she did agree it was enough. That was very rude. I have never seen something like this in my life. Terrible experience and management.

Stopped in on a cold, rainy day while waiting to meet family. There was no hostess, so we sat ourselves at the bar tables. A waiter came promptly and took our drink order and brought chips and salsa. When he came back and it became clear that we would not be ordering full meals, just sticking to having a few rounds of drinks they completely stopped servicing our table. The (assumed) owner was there making sure the table next to ours was well taken care of and was staring us down without saying anything.The bar was covered by two bartenders, it was not busy.

I'm not sure if we weren't supposed to seat ourselves at the bar, or if it's inappropriate to not eat full meals and instead order 2+ drinks per person (5 of us), but it was very clear we were no longer welcome. We even had to approach the bar to pay our tab.

The Jose's in Brookfield was always accommodating and enjoyable to us before it closed, so we were genuinely baffled and disappointed when we didn't get the same reception at this location.
