We made our first visit on a Saturday night. I could tell we were i .for a treat by the full parking lot. We sat at the bar because an hour wait for a table was too long to wait for the delicious food I knew we would have. Everything was perfect! The prime rib was so tender. Jugs Hitching Post is such a great spot! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the drinks are always spot-on. What really makes it stand out, though, is the bartender — so much fun, full of energy, and always ready with a great story or a quick laugh. You can tell they love what they do, and it makes every visit feel like a night out with friends. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area

Half hour wait for a greasy burger that smells and tastes like an unclean grill. Limited menu. Most restaurants in the area are closed on Monday hence the wait. Table with a chair I could barely fit(I weigh 180) because of the pole the chair was up against.

The food is great, we had several appetizers, highly recommend the Reuben triangles, just delicious. Next time there I'm just going to go ahead and order a Reuben. There was six in our party all ordering different things and everyone was thoroughly pleased with their food. Service is great, we were well attended to, never ran out of drinks. Ordered a pu dinner for 3. Dinners were not as ordered missing things like coleslaw, tartar sauce, side salads. When we called we were told “we were out of Cole slaw and the side sauces and if we want to drive back they would give us the salads” we asked for a partial credit as we were not driving back there, the woman we talked to said no as we are not really charged for those items in the first place. Aaargh! So we paid almost $70.00 for a couple shrimp dinners a total of 16 Sysco shrimp and 4 pieces of greasy fish. No sides received that we ordered we were given waffle fries - yuck.
I Will share this experience with any one that will listen. Entirely dissatisfied!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a fish fry last night, I'm from out of town. We picked Jug's after hearing about it through friends. The wait to get seated was accurate, approximately 45 minutes. Our waitress was great, she worked her butt off and was handling probably too many tables. Here's my gripe: as we were served our meals, the waitress told us that they were out of coleslaw and rye bread. We were given one slice of rye bread to share and were told it was the last one. About 5 minutes later, the table next to us (seated after us), got their food and were given a slice of rye bread. Realistically, that bread should have gone to my girlfriend or someone else who was seated first. First come first serve, right???? Anyways, we ate our meals. It was pretty good, the fish was great. At the end, I politely asked our waitress if there was anything she could do to our bill or maybe a free dessert for the missing sides we paid for, and she basically shrugged and told us no. For a $20 fish fry missing two of the sides, I'm pretty disappointed.

As soon as we walked in the hostess made sure we knew how big of a nuisance we were to her. However, our waitress was very sweet and kind. I ordered a 1/2 pound cheeseburger, medium rare, and was greeted with a raw cheeseburger smothered in grease. I showed our waitress the cheeseburger and she couldn’t even keep a straight face- she looked embarrassed on behalf of the establishment. Great for a drink, terrible for a burger.

Jugs is a must-try for comfort food lovers! My recent visit was a delightful experience from start to finish. I began with their homemade chicken pot pie soup, a hearty and flavorful creation that was incredibly satisfying. You could tell it was made with high-quality ingredients. For my main course, I opted for the ribs, and they were incredibly tender and flavorful. They paired perfectly with a fluffy baked potato. But the real star of the show was the cheesecake. Wow! It was easily one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. Our server confirmed that all their desserts are made from scratch, and it definitely shows. It was rich, creamy, and absolutely divine. I can't wait to return to Jugs and explore more of their menu!
