I cannot believe I just found this place. The barbecue is spectacular. Normally there is a meat or sauce that stands out above all the other offerings - not the case here. Had the 5 meat sampler with brisket, pulled pork, sliced turkey, polish sausage, and corned beef. Also added burnt ends, baked beans, dill potato salad, and mashed sweet potatoes. Phenomenal. Maybe the chef and I are on the same taste bud plain but everything was GREAT. Not good, but great - the food is memorable and my mouth is watering thinking about is as I type this. I am going back, all the time!

The food here is always on point. We have a family of 3 and usually split a sandwich and get the 3 meat platter with lean brisket, polish sausage and whatever else sounds good. Price is reasonable for authentic smoked bbq. Usually around $35 for the order is stated. Brisket is tender and flavorful. Sandwiches are tasty. I like to enjoy with an ice cold coors light with the meal. Service is great. Can get busy and run out of items during peak times. Don’t fret just try something else you won’t be disappointed. I’ve been here about 10 times and it’s always good. Great selection of sauces too. Keep up the good work Just Smokin.

Ordered take out for some friends and I so we could try a few things. Got the 5 meat sampler with pulled chicken, pork and brisket, the pork belly and corned beef. The pork belly was the group favorite but the corned beef was mine. I saw a comment about how the chicken pairs best with all the sauces and agree but my favorite sauces were the original, carolina gold and the white.
We got the Mac and cheese and the cheesy potatoes and they were both wonderful. Usually I don't go for Mac and cheese as it's usually too dense and the noodles are overcooked. This ... This was amazing plenty of cheese sauce and the noodles were perfectly cooked! The potatoes were surprisingly good with a nice smoke flavor.
The garlic Parm boneless chicken was really good, a nice breading to sauce to chicken ratio without being heavy and I'd love to give the corn bread its own paragraph, hell I'd love to write it a sonnet with how light, moist and flavorful it is but I'll just leave it at that.
Last but definitely not least the brisket poutine. The fries were crispy and amazing all on their own, the gravy not too salty or thin and the cheese was
perfectly melted by the time we got it home.
The only sad part of my review is that i live about an hour away which is probably only going to keep me away slightly less. I cannot recommend this place enough and cannot wait to go back and try more food.

Best BBQ in the area!
I have driven past this location several times and never stopped until recently, and now I am excited to return. We ordered almost everything on the menu! The fries were flavorful, golden, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. The Brisket sandwich was juicy, but did not make the bun soggy, and if you ask for the fatty brisket, it just melts in your mouth. The pulled pork was delicious, but the Pork Belly is what I would go back for over and over again! The pulled chicken tasted light, but paired best with any of their table sauces! The Jalapeno Cheddar sausage was outstanding, and paired awesomely with the Mac & Cheese as a side.
The corn bread! - I should have ordered a dozen to go.

My guest and I received great service, the location had plenty of parking, and the interior was very clean during my visit! Owner & Staff - I hope to see you soon.

An hour ago I was sitting on my couch searching for a good BBQ spot. I came across Just smok’n. I of course went straight to the reviews and the one where Allison said she got home and immediately had to leave a review… I was sold.

My husband and I stopped a gentleman as he was leaving what he got and he recommended the pierogi’s. Foolishly my husband and I skipped them after each worker explain them differently. As we were waiting I believe the owner brought out a little sample for us to try and oh my goodness!!! They were seriously little bites of heaven.

We will definitely be returning for the pierogi’s! The customer service was great. The restaurant was clean and I couldn’t recommend Just Smok’n more!

A nice comfy place with great service, delicious BBQ, and wonderful sauces.

My Dad and I randomly found this place while we were out and about and wanted to stop by. The gal at the counter did a good job helping us feel welcome and the guy who brought out our food had a good sense of humor which we really appreciated!

Our expectations were pretty much blown out of the water because of how great the experience was. We both had the beef brisket sandwich, got the fatty version not the lean and we did not regret it one bit!

The brisket was cooked so well that the fat melted and wasn't chewy at all, tasted great and so did the sauces. The Carolina sauce was our favorite but I loved the classic too. But they were all good and I'm sure there's a sauce for anyone to enjoy.

There's so much to try on the menu, so it gives up a lot of reasons to go back, the cornbread was great too, not dry at all which is great!

If you're in the area, give them a look. It was so good my Dad and I talked about how good it was on our drive home. GREAT BBQ FOR SURE!

Listen. I got home 5 minutes ago and I had to immediately hop on and write a review. Amazing food, and I don’t even like barbecue. My boyfriend who loves barbecue said it was amazing.

To be transparent, I did have to wait a while for my pickup order to be completed, but I didn’t even care. It smells amazing, they have classic 80’s rock playing, and I was offered a drink while I waited. I declined the free drink and to my surprise, was given a half rack of ribs, fee of charge, as an apology for the wait.

Truthfully, amazing customer service. And I would’ve waited all day long for that pulled pork, with or without the free ribs. Definitely a small business, but it’s worth the wait. 5 stars all around.

I really can't hammer home how awesome the service is here. As BBQ fans, me and a friend have picked up food from here several times and it never disappoints. Not only is the food ridiculously good, but the service has been incredible. Every BBQ place on the planet has run out of food at some point, and this place is no different. One of my favorite places to eat. I've eaten BBQ all over the country and this is legit. Fall off the bone ribs with a fantastic house made sauce, delicious pulled meats, and a juicy brisket with a nice bark. If that isn't enough to make your mouth water they have other house made sauces for different BBQ styles, from Carolina to Alabama. If those don't fit your taste you can try their take on the classic sweet sauce or test your spice tolerance with some serious heat. They also have experimental foods from time to time like crunchwraps and burgers. Service is fast and friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. Our family had a great experience there. My daughter had asked for a vanilla shake with cherries and the owner. Justin was very disappointed that he didn’t have any cherries. He offered to make a special concoction for her. He took a bottle of point, black cherry soda and mixed it in with a vanilla shake. He made it very clear that if she did not really like it, he would make her a regular one. My daughter, unfortunately, did not like it, but my family and I all tried it and it was delicious. Was a disappointment. We had the fatty brisket, pork belly and the picanha. The brisket and pork belly are melt in your mouth tender, but not much flavor to it. It was salt forward with barely a hint of smoke or seasoning. The picanha was dry and not particularly tasty even with the chimichuri sauce. THE BEST BEEF BRISKET! First time eating at Just Smokin BBQ. I have gone on a BBQ journey across all southeastern Wisconsin. I have tried many different styles and flavors of grilled food. The workers are super nice and made sure to check my order twice to make sure I had everything I ordered(said to say, but that is not common). I stopped in to get takeout. I ended up getting the 3 meat platter( Pork Belly, fatty brisket, and a jalapeno cheddar sausage), with a side of the dill potato salad. I've been to this place 3 times in the past month. It's one of the best BBQ places in the area.
The pulled pork is some of the best I've had. The pulled chicken is also great, not dry at all.

Called in for takeout. My wife and I tried the 3 meat sampler (pulled chicken, pulled pork, pork belly, brisket, turkey, and jalapeño cheese sausage). I think he learned from Myron mixon, tasted like TRUE down south. Smoked beans and cornbread just added to the whole ensemble, making everything top notch. Also had the bourbon sweet potato's, which were good. For sauce we tried the classic (way better but close to sweet baby rays), gold tang (great tang and mustard flavor), Alabama white (I am not sure what this would be bad on, want to try it on prime rib with that horseradish flavor) , and smoking hot (slight zip). I like heat so wished I tried the ghost sauce.

just went there on 06/18/2024, and the ribs was delicious!, the pork belly was soft and good. the sauce i got was daredevil and it had a nice kick to it. definitely will come back again.

Wow! We bought about $150 worth of bbq on Sunday for Memorial Day family get together. Unpleasantly surprised when we found a label folded in our sweet mashed potatoes. Tossed that as well as the coleslaw for fear of same. We had to thoroughly inspect the meat wondering what might be in it or if it fell on the floor before it was packaged. Some family members were brave and ate the meat, others decided to order from a restaurant.

Those that ate said the meat was good (hence 2 stars) but we are NEVER eating from there again.

Stopped in recently while on a bike ride to have a brisket sandwich. I was given a choice of chopped or sliced, and fat or lean meat.(The response to the obvious question was,"Yes, some people do order "fat"). The piece of cornbread and the mashed sweet potatoes were a nice surprise.

Stopped by with a larger group. Brisket, beans, and fries were fantastic. Pulled chicken was very dry and kids chicken bites were still cold (not just not warm, but actually cold) when served. Lots of sauces to choose from.

Nice open space made for plenty of room. Though also made it very loud.

Took a bit for food to come out, but that's expected with a larger group.

Overall very glad we stopped. If it were close, we'd go again.

Best BBQ in the area. Hands down better than Smoked @ 225. They are so forgettable I forgot their name. Smoke rings throughout, plenty of options. The brisket, corned beef and ribs were great, but the ribs were the best. Smoky, fall off the bone tender and they don't skimp on the rub like 220 something does. Have I mentioned they're better than 220 something?

I've been all over the US for BBQ specifically. Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri. Been to Joes, Jack Stack & Arthur Bryant in Missouri. Franklins, La Barbecue, Salt Lick and Valentina's in Austin and Burn Co in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Friday night fish fry at a BBQ joint? Oh, yeah, baby!!

Great building that was spotless, had well placed tables, music was low yet audible to encourage conversation and even a TV if a big game was available, you could watch it. Classic menu board on the wall by the ordering space.

I had the perch (pictured) and my friend had the cod. They serve it like their BBQ—on a tray. Good amount of food for the money. Great, unique breading. It is a beer batter, I believe, with unique spices (they won’t tell the secrets) and very crunchy without being overly breaded. Potato pancakes were also unique and delicious without being too greasy. You simply have to try it. Sides in plastic containers were a bummer, but in this economy it is a great cost saving measure. The server was attentive and friendly, and they will clear your table, too! We will be back again and again, especially to try the homemade desserts!!

Heard all the commotion about this place. Tried it 1st time. Ribs were like soup. Fell off bone like soup w almost no chew content. Literally people say fall off the bone, but just a precaution it’s “soupy”. Had many ribs fall off the bone, but not like this. Taste and rub was ok so 1st time not mind blowing by any means. 2nd time which was 4 months later overall taste was actually better. A bit firmer ribs how ribs shld be and not like a soup. 3rd time was the last I’ll ever go there. Got a full meal for the family thinking it was gonna be like 2nd visit. Nope!!! Even worst then both visits. For ribs: Meat ran off the bone LITERALLY and rub was so salty as if sipping the Pacific Ocean. No texture to the meat either. Again just like a boiled up meat soup. I’m not one to bash, but just giving my honest review for the betterment. This place overall is Ok. Need to be consistent and not make their ribs so soupy…if I wanted a soup I’d order a soup. So my take is by no means partial or impartial, but rather from a neutral perspective…it isnt the super delicious and extremely great place like what many say it is..however though it’s acceptable and Ok. Def needs a bit of refinement and consistency.

I have been at just smoking a few times before
It’s been good
Was there last Saturday to pick up my order.
I ordered 1/2 lb brisket 1lb pulled pork.
Got home it seemed a little light.
So I weighed it
It should have been 24 oz
It was only 15.6 oz
I got ripped off
It cost me 36.50
I tried to call and let them know but no one answered the phone
I hope next time I go they will make it right

I consider myself a Rueben expert and they had the best I have ever had. My son had the El Diablo burrito and they dont joke around with heat which I love and hard to find in Wisconsin. The owner saw my son struggling with the heat and offered free cornbread to help. Will frequent whenever I get a chance highly recommended.

We just moved to Menomonee Falls and we stumbled on this place that is just 5 minutes away from our house. WOW. It’s really hard to find really good BBQ up here in Wisconsin and it is some of the best I have tasted. We got wings, bourbon sweet potatoes, cheesy potatoes, and mac n cheese. I've had the luxury of partaking in authentic Austin TX BBQ (Terry Black, Salt Lick, Rudy's, Interstellar). Also had a stop in Kansas City, and ate at LC's BBQ, and Slaps.

Justin, the owner, makes BBQ -BETTER- than the originals.

The Smoked Reuben is my go to (no thousand Island please). Best one you'll ever have.

Smoked wings are unbeatable.

Today's special was "smoked then fried" chicken. Out of this world.

Order your brisket "fatty", and try the cheesy bacon potato side.
