Currently sitting in the parking lot with my friend after making our first purchase. We got two egg rolls and two cupcakes. We were CRYING over how phenomenal it all was. Insanely high quality, low prices, and we were already debating going back in for more before we’d even finished what we got. I have NEVER reviewed anything in my LIFE, as you can see from my name i didn’t ever EXPECT to, but this was otherworldly. As someone who just moved to Wisconsin and was not pleased with their selection, this place brought the life back into my eyes. 100% recommend.

I'm not from around here but was in the area. Saw this place on tik tok and went with my family. Atmosphere was very calm and sweet. Food was amazing. I had the beef Pho, and cupcakes. We tried the chocolate ones and the fruit one (with strawberry and blueberry on top). Everything was amazing. The workers were very fast and nice. As you can tell I have no pictures of the cupcakes posted because we ate them to fast! Excellent overall. We are definitely coming back!

We chose Ka Lia's kitchen for our wedding cake and desserts. Ka Lia made every step of the way easy and delicious. The cake and cupcakes at our wedding were gorgeous and delicious. Ka Lia's boba tea is also spectacular.

Food was really good but there was only one tiny piece of chicken and only 3 pieces of shrimp in the chicken and shrimp fried rice I wish there was more meat 😭 other than that it was so good way too much rice for only 3 pieces of shrimp and one piece of chicken

I had made a review before on her cupcakes being too small for the price of $4 within her first year. Thanks Kalia for reconsidering the price value. I had gone back on Monday, April 14th to try something savory off her menu.....Kalias prob not going to like what my review has to say, but reviews are meant to be critical. As a Hmong individual it seems like the food may be catered more so to the caucasian culture, I say this because the hot sauce was not hot saucing. It was completely watered down (maybe I got the bottom part of the hot sauce, or top only). The sticky rice was overcooked, maybe thats the way it is all the time or that day someone wasn't being attentive to cooking the sticky rice OR it could be re-steamed sticky rice from a previous day. Who knows. The stuffed chicken wings were a decent size, but there were no amplified seasonings that added flavor to it which made it bland. I still ate, but was not truly satisfied afterwards. This place is a deli spot if you want something quick and are on the go. Most things are premade for you if you are in a rush and don't have time to wait. Unfortunately I won't be going out of my way to try that place anymore because of my impressions. Try this spot out first and if you have an agreement with my review, like it to show I am not the only high standard foodie here. I hope the best of luck with business for Kalia.

Response to Kalias response on my reveiw: There are plenty of people like me who have high standards when it comes to my money paying for it. I guarantee I am not the only one who thinks this of your business. I get most of your reviews are 5 star rated, but you have to be able to handle criticism and learn from it. If i didn't want you to succeed as a business, I wouldn't have made a review. I had one individual like my review, so please refrain from being offended and defensive because it's unprofessional. If you were to have competition on french island you'd prob take my review into consideration. Start asking your customers what they think of your food if you truly care about it.

Love this place so much! I live on the island so it's easy to walk here. I get that the only reviews I leave are positive, but there is only positive here! Everyone is incredibly nice, and always willing to help you! Food is awesome is general and the atmosphere is comforting and nice. 👍👍👍 Nothing is too expensive as well and there's everything from boba teas to chicken wings and egg rolls! Very clean as well.

Very disappointed. Wife got me a cake for my birthday. Did not order strawberries but cake was full of them inside and out. I hate strawberries. Brown, thick, hard icing had no flavor. Felt like cardboard. Tasted like this cake was made with no sugar at all.

I had a craving for boba, and this place was one of the only open places in my area—I’m so glad I made the trip. I ended up going really close to closing time, but I was served graciously with a couple very kind young men. The smoothie was incredible and the boba pearls are the best I’ve had in a long time. I can’t wait to go back and try the chicken, egg rolls, sausage, and cakes!

Long time Kalia lover. Won some cupcakes a few years ago and won't get cupcakes from anywhere else in the area. They're delicious. Was so happy when she opened this place (closer to home). She bakes with so much love. Anything I've had was delicious. The egg rolls were phenomenal. I thoroughly enjoyed her hmong sausage and sticky rice and the sauces she offers for the egg rolls or hmong sausage are spot on with the flavor. She has a variety of things. Check her out, you won't be disappointed. Alot of love goes into her business, you can taste it.

My department at work nearby orders from Ka Lia's multiple times a week usually. The food is always hot and fresh, super fast and very affordable and cupcakes are the best in the area in my opinion! It is a staple here on French Island. Thank you for outstanding experiences each and every time!

Great stop for lunch, especially on this side of the island! I had a few egg rolls, sticky rice and a cupcake, all were absolutely delicious! Pricing is reasonable and service was quick. Seating is limited and it's deli style service so not a good place for large groups. I hear they cater though which would be a great option!

I'm not from the area but I had work in the area today. So, I dropped by to grab some sweet for myself and surprised some friends with some. There were 3 different flavors, and 2 different flavored cake slices. I enjoyed my cupcake in the car. The whipped frosting is perfectly sweet, not too sweet. The bread for the cupcake is soft and bouncy.

Ok. So we went here a couple days ago. The food was amazing. We ordered egg rolls, Hmong Sausage & sticky rice, chicken wings, chicken legs, boba tea, mango tea, and Kapun. And then for dessert we got two cupcakes. My two favorite places for egg rolls is here and Hmong Golden Eggroll. The cupcakes were delicious and exceeded expectation. If anyone is interested, I'd make your way to Ka Lia's kitchen. The place is located right next to Chee's Auto. Congrats, Ka Lia!!! You and your family did an amazing job!!! Tried the egg rolls and hmong sausage with sticky rice. It was excellent, and the portion of rice was generous. Also tried the chocolate and "better than sex" cupcakes. Both were as cute as they were fluffy and delicious. The honeydew boba tea was delightful as well.
