Twice we tried to experience a fish fry. First time it was rather busy, so we were ok with no one taking our order,we went somewhere else. Tonight, we went early,wasn't to busy. We got our drinks,given a menu,and took our names. Two different couples that came in after us were able to put in a order,and there we sat with our menus totally puzzled. Apparently you have to be a regular to get waited on. Won't try it again a third.

Pros - Food and ambiance, great. Service great. Salad bar good. Drinks good. Reservations. Cons - a touch pricey. Small menu list, no vegetarian mains. Parking lot was full at 430pm, no one parked near the door with a handicapped placard. There is not even 1 labeled handicapped parking spot (I'm disabled with no spot, that sucked badly).

My DH and I went for the first time on Saturday a little after they opened for the day. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady named Betty, who is absolutely delightful and makes a wonderful Old Fashioned Sweet <3 I had 2 of them! DH had beer, unfortunately the beer wasn't as cold as he would like, but then again he puts his in the freezer at home... We were introduced to the Sensational Sande who I was delighted to advise had a wonderful review before... in fact that review was what the deciding factor on the final choice of where to go! Sande lived up to the review and definitely earned the nickname in my brain as Sensational Sande!
I ordered the Cod dinner which came with the Soup, Salad Bar, fresh loaf of bread for the table, and choice of side. I knew I wanted fries, and they were these delicious breaded fries. My DH ordered the Prime Rib King special.
The salad bar was awesome, loved how nice and green the set up was. So many places dont bother with dressing it up because to clean up after spills on the kale is bothersome. We were the 2nd party to dine in, and so there was no opportunity to see how the salad bar stays maintained through the dinner rush. We both tried the Hot Bacon dressing, and it was delicious.
Sande, checked on us to ensure that everything was satisfactory. Somehow we got to the topic of the shrimp... and we talked about how delicious it is. I stated to her that even though I love shrimp I never order it because I am worried about it never being cooked right. You know what she did? She told me I had to try it, and brought me one out. I'll tell you what, she was absolutely correct. It was the best shrimp I had ever had. I'll definitely be ordering THAT the next time I'm in there! (Thank you Sande!)
DH and I ate way to much of the salad bar and soup, that neither of us was able to eat our huge meal completely. But no worries, we were provided with to go boxes. We both ate our leftover dinners the next day, and enjoyed talking about our date at Kassidy's Studio. We will definitely make the trip to Shawano again for this dining experience. THE best fresh grilled vegetables in a wine sauce! Salad bar was really good with homemade soup and many salad options. Fresh warm bread at table. Scallops were sautéd perfectly - only just a little too much butter & jarlic (garlic in a jar) but good. People were friendly and it felt like a locals place. Took my mother and sister here the Monday after Mother's Day. We had an absolute blast, and the food didn't disappoint. Steak was cooked properly, and the esthetics of the shrimp dinner definitely had the wow factor upon its arrival. We will be back. Keep up the good work. When I first pulled up to the restaurant, I immediately knew it was going to be a hit due to the large number of vehicles in the parking lot. The food was outstanding, I had the tenderloin with some sautéed shrimp and a twice baked potato, and it was so good. Finished the night off with a pink squirrel from the bar and that took the cake. My wife and I travel to Wisconsin once a year to visit her family. We try to find a new local restaurant to try on each visit. This time, it was suggested to try Kassidy's Studio Lounge, a Supper-Club in Shawano, WI.

Were to start?

Great atmosphere. Very energetic and accompanying staff. Outstanding food!

We took a seat at the bar and placed our drink orders.

We were fortunate to be served by Kassidy, who probably logged over 10,000 steps, tending to everyone at the bar, while simultaneously creating signature cocktails for patrons on the restaurant side. She was very pleasant, and she was able to hold up a conversation while serving drinks.

Our table was ready, and we headed over to the restaurant side of the establishment.

I tried the Prime Rib and stuffed shrimp dinner with twice baked potatoes. Unbelievable!
My wife had the poor man's lobster. She had said it was the best she ever tried.

My brother in law had the 8oz tenderloin Oscar. It's absolutely incredible.

Very generous food portions (we all had leftovers to take home).

Great open salad bar (definitely try the hot bacon dressing)

The creamy chicken Alfredo soup was amazing.

We definitely will be returning to Kassidy's in the very near future.

Returned after a great experience on our last visit but couldn’t be more disappointed this time, 2 Ribeyes were sent back twice after ordered medium but were raw then after 2 times to the kitchen was closer to medium rare and was an unpleasant looking piece of meat. Garlic cheese curds very salty and then a bacon cheeseburger ordered medium was seared but raw meat inside and had uncooked bacon on top. Waitress kept apologizing as I looked around and saw others sending their meals back to the kitchen. Told the waitress and owner how disappointed we were after the previous visit and was told they were having an off night in the kitchen, I asked if they had new staff and she said no, owner asked the waitress and she told her she adjusted the bill cause there was so many issues, prolly not gonna go back but the soup and salad bat was great along with the waitress, the food was a disaster, just an FYI ordered ribs and was told they didn’t have any for 2 hrs.

My nephew ordered the filet medium well and it was so red he sent it back...second try ..red ..third time more pink but he never got to eat it with us..we were already done.Our waitress said it was thick so hard to cook it.

I went with family and we ordered Chicken Alfredo and Salmon with wild rice with a side of cheese curds.

We started with the soup and salad bar. The loaded peppers soup and clam chowder were both excellent.

When we received our cheese curds they looked good but were cold inside. The waitress brought them back into the kitchen where they were warmed up (microwaved?)

We received our food, the chicken alfredo and salmon with wild rice and at first glance both of them looked very delicious and the part of the salmon that was cooked was delicious. Sadly the middle of the salmon was still under cooked and was not flaky at all. It was just mushy. Once again it was brought back into the kitchen and warmed up (microwaved). After it was warmed up the fish was ... ok. A not good texture, but at least it was cooked.

A group of my friends and I were staying in the area so we decided to choose this restaurant. It was a busy Friday night and not being from the area we didn't make reservations. The hostess was friendly and quickly had us seated. Our table was located next to the kitchen and the bussing station. The bussing station was a little noisy due to 1 waitress tossing the dirty dishes in the tubs and dishes clanking together. Most in our group had a fish fry with the salad bar. Salad bar was delicious and so were all the dinners. Our waitress was good. Our bills were separated into 3 different couples. When it came time to pay the bill everyone paid and we left. A few days later, I noticed we got charged over double on our account for our dinner. I called the restaurant and the owner was excellent!!! They sent us a check for the amount that was overcharged, this to me is 100% awesome customer service!! DEFINITELY GIVE THIS RESTAURANT A TRY!!

I ordered the steak meal, well done. It came out burnt. I was able to eat the center but the rest I had to leave behind. My daughter ordered a hamburger. The meat was very spicy... she could only finish half of the hamburger, before losing her appetite.

First time we visited but it won't be our last!! The bartender was amazing. Customers would walk in and sit down and she'd have "their" drinks started before they said anything but Hi! More amazing when the "snowbirds", (they hadn't been there for 6 months or more) and sat down. She'd look at them for about 15 seconds and began to grab the glasses and bottles for "their special" drink...down to the garnish!!!! The wait staff provided excellent service as well. The salad bar, soup and entrees were perfectly prepared! We are looking forward to a return visit very soon!!!

Awesome place! Great bartenders and wait-staff. I met a group of people there, and everyone really liked it. There's a very nice selection on the menu, including seafood, andmany daily specials. One note; some times / places it's 'Kassidy's Studio Lounge', others it's just 'Studio Lounge' (like my GPS and phone nav app).
