Food and service were excellent. However, having 2 restrooms that are visible to the entire dining room is unconscionable for a more upscale restaurant. If we’re going to pay $200 for dinner, we don’t want to look at a toilet. Six customers used the bathroom and not one had the courtesy to close the door. We will not be back and will not recommend this restaurant to others.

Kavos is a great new Greek restaurant downtown Oconomowoc!

The restaurant has a tasteful decor and lots of light that accentuates the curated cocktails and delicious small plates. The bartender and servers are phenomenal and a testament to the quality of the ownership.

We were looking for dinner while in Oconomowoc and saw a new restaurant, Kavos. We ordered three shareable plates which were impressive with very nice presentation.
The charcuterie board was beautiful and had a great variety of meat and cheese as well as nuts olives and veggie sticks. We brought most of it home.
The foccacia and oil was wonderful. Hot and crusty. We gobbled that down! ( Not the same leftover!)
The roasted cauliflower was tasty, just not my flavor profile. This was middle eastern with hummus chickpeas raisins. We really didn't need the third entree.
We shared a slice of key lime cheesecake which was tasty and would have enjoyed a cup of joe with dessert though.

We'll be back to try some of their other interesting fare.

The food was delicious but a tad over priced for tapas. I loved the atmosphere. The service was perfect but the waitress was not well educated in her wine descriptions or recommendations My only real complaint is it was so hot. I was with 3 other people and we were sweating the whole time. It was uncomfortable. If the AC is not working well enough they should at least invest in fans.

Stick with Beach house bistro, the food doesn't live up to the interior decor. Service was bad for us but saw other servers coming outside often to take care of their tables. Paella was mush, soaked in tomato sauce, far from authentic. Patio is pretty but set in a parking lot and lots of street noise. No music barely any shade and we were refused to sit at a table under the umbrella.

The food was by far not worth the money. Got a bri and peaches pizza, zero honey, the fact that the peaches are from a can. No extra flavor, added. Just a old nasty tin can of peaches.

1st time having dinner here. Nice looking restaurant with a good atmosphere, though a bit loud to hold a conversation. Had the smoked “carpaccio”. It’s ok, but not like the carpaccio I’ve ever eaten at other restaurants. It’s not raw beef, so not necessarily carpaccio from my perspective. Had the grilled octopus which was rather good and the scallops with risotto. It was good, but the risotto was a bit salty for my taste. I’d probably go back to try other offerings.

A new restaurant in downtown Oconomowoc. We ordered the Chicken Paella, Scallop Risotto, Lamb Lollipop, Beef Carpaccio and Rosemary Potatoes. The food was spot on with a multitude of flavors. Very chic atmosphere with great energy.

I don’t think this place is going to last if they don’t start taking customer reviews seriously. No place to check in when you get there; that was feedback I noticed from a customer two months ago. Did not have prices on the cocktail menu and when I asked, the staff member just shrugged and said she had no idea. Wow! Thanks for not being helpful at all. Several items from the menu and wine list were unavailable which was disappointing. These little issues of annoyance can make or break a restaurant if they aren’t careful.

We spent date night at Kavos yesterday evening and it did not disappoint! From the atmosphere and warm welcome upon coming through the door, to the drinks and delicious food - I’d give 10 ⭐️ if I could! The food was so fresh and delectable. We started with the trio of lemon hummus, spicy hummus and tapenade served with delicious warm pita and fresh sliced veggies. Followed by the Greek salad (I’ve been to Greece twice and this was truly a Greek salad! No greens, all yummy veggies and feta!) and the chimichurri sirloin cooked med rare - it literally melts in your mouth. I wish we’d taken a pic of that but apparently we were so excited to eat it when it got to the table that pausing for a pic didn’t cross our mind! And it can’t go unsaid that the owner, Lazar, is the most kind and humble human being. Supporting his local restaurants gives all the feels ❤️ (if you haven’t, check out Beach House Bistro and Tavola on Pewaukee Lake, as well!)

The food was excellent. The variety was great and all the small plates we tried (5) I’d order again. The service was on point from the beginning to the end as well.

My only critique of the place was the music was so loud I had to lean in to hear my wife and I often caught myself mouth reading the server.

I’m only 39 and I have had my hearing checked. I actually liked the Euro music, I’d just prefer it 15 dB lower or try to score a table by the door next time I’m back. Even with the loud tunes, I’m going back. Everything was awesome.

Kavos in Oconomowoc might be a small place, but it’s definitely not a small deal! The selection of small plates is absolutely fantastic. I first visited with a large group of women, and as it’s meant to be, we shared everything—giving me the chance to try so many different dishes. Each one was better than the last! I loved it so much, I came back tonight to sample a few more items, and once again, it did not disappoint. Try the Chimi Sirloin! What a fabulous addition to downtown Oconomowoc. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience and overall positive first impression. Nice vibe with decor and music selection. Shelly was our server and provided excellent service and had a thorough understanding of the menu. Presentation of food was first class and it tasted even better! Although tapas style, our table ordered a shared appetizer and each of us a sharable plate as our entrée. Highly recommended.

We dined here for the first time last night! We loved the vibe! The food was excellent! Only thing I noticed which seemed confusing is that there isn’t a hostess check in table. So everyone walks in looking confused on where to go or who to check in with. I know we were confused. The bar is amazing! Very good service! We will be back!

Had dinner at KAVOS in Oconomowoc last night, and it was fantastic! The new location is stunning—big congrats to Llazar Konda!

Loved the small plates concept—sharing means more flavors to try! We had the Bruschetta Trio, Margarita Flatbread, and Seafood Paella, and of course, we couldn’t skip the house-made baklava. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and worth coming back for.

I’ll definitely be back in the future for a date night with Anne! Have you been to KAVOS yet? What’s your must-order dish?

Another average addition to the Ocon food scene. Skip the charcuterie board. Sloppy presentation and as basic and boring as it gets.
When you walk in there is no hostess stand. It’s an extremely awkward situation and no one knows exactly where to go.

We had an amazing experience. Made reservations and got seated right on time on a busy Friday night. Ordered 4 plates for 2 people. Lots of food. Caviar is a must have and the lamb lollipops. Tons of good wine and cocktails, a little short maybe on beer selections, but that is minor.

We did have some sub-par scallops, but they offered to remake them and ended up taking it off the bill for use, which was our choice. Owner and management have a great team are very attentive.

We will be back.

We were excited to try the new restaurant and we were not disappointed. The ambience was great, the service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The food is so good it was hard not to over order but we wanted to sample lots of menu items. We tried dolmas for the first time and they were amazing! Another wonderful restaurant by Llazar. From the beautiful atmosphere to the always phenomenal food it was a wonderful experience. Looking forward to being back. We had the bruschetta trip, lamb lollipops and the scallop risotto. All very fresh, complementary and delicious. The lamb was probably my favorite followed by the fruit and brie bruschetta. 10/10 will be back asap
