Possibly the worst food I’ve seen in a long time.

I poured 1/8 cup of oil out of the bottom of our cheese curds. Nothing was edible in our to go order.

What a great gastropub in the "ghetto" of Manitowoc. Hahahaha! I had a side salad w/ blue cheese, the soup du jour which was broccoli cheese and bone-in wings w/ Thai Chili sauce. A B S O L U T E L Y delicious. Bartender Zach was knowledgable, informational and entertaining in a good friendly way. Don't worry Zach, I'm not judging... much.

All joking aside. I had great food, great people and a wonderful evening. I'm just passing through from across the lake and it's places like this that make me love Wisconsin and the people (and the cheese of course!). Highly recommend KC's Kitchen & Cocktails.

Don’t let the neighborhood fool you - this hidden gem absolutely delivers on quality.
The food was exceptional across the board. Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations, with fresh ingredients and expertly balanced flavors.
The service was equally impressive - attentive without being intrusive, and our server clearly knew the menu well.
My son put it best when he said “You just gotta trust” - and he was absolutely right.
In my opinion, this is easily the best restaurant in town. We’ll definitely be returning, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal. Five stars.

ETA...just had our third visit to KC's and we still love their food! The Thursday Tacos are quite a treat!
We tried KC's for the first time tonight and we're definitely planning on returning to try more of their tasty food. We shared the Rodeo Burger, Vidalia Onion Rings, French Fries and three different tacos, including the Teriyaki Steak Taco, the Pork Carnitas Taco and the Ch-ching Chicken Taco. Great place to have in the neighborhood.

If you are in the area and hungry for a delicious and inventive meal you have to stop at KC's! We tried every appetizer and they were all AMAZING. Favorites were the Yaki-sprouts and frickles but everything we ate was so good. We also had boneless and bone-in wings, gravy fries, corn chowder, patty melt, rodeo burger and chicken wrap and all 8 of us (ages 10 to 78) would recommend our entrees and have them again. Whenever we visit the area again we WILL be stopping again, staff was inviting and so nice-thank you so much!

A true diamond in the rough! Stopped on a whim and we will definitely be coming back! The drinks were great and the food was even better!
We started with the Let’s Get Baja Blasted and Tall and Dirty Old Fashioned, and of course cheese curds that came with a raspberry dipping sauce! Would definitely recommend!
Tacos were $3.55. We tried the chicken special with a Cheeto crusted shell, one fish taco and one with Brussel sprouts. All were EXCELLENT! Also had an order of boneless wings. Everything was amazing!

Overall, it was a very good and tasty experience. Very kind server, and we got our food in a good, timely manner. The boneless wings were excellent. The only real complaint was that the lemonade was pretty watery, and the crinkle cut fries were unevenly seasoned. Overall, it was very minor complaints and a really good dining experience that I recommend for anyone.

It was so hard to choose what to order! Everything looked and smelled delicious. We chose the Cluck ‘n roll wrap and the Shroom and Swiss Burger with a side of fries and o rings. Absolutely amazing! Definitely one of our new favorite places in town. Lindsay was a great waitress. You can even buy a round for the kitchen for $7. Which we did. We had homemade crème brûlée for dessert. Got to talk with Casey, one of the owners. I highly recommend you try this place ASAP!

Highly recommend. Friendly service, great flavor on the food, and very fair pricing. We had the Shrooms & Swiss Burger, bone-in wings, fish taco, chicken taco, and Spin City salad. I would eat all of them again. They have a few different seating areas - some that feel more "bar" and some that feel more "restaurant." I wish the restaurant area didn't have slot machines right in it, but it is a bar so I can't hold it against them. Would definitely go back!

I liked the mushroom Swiss burger.

I also tried the steakhouse burger. The bacon was exquisitely cooked to perfect crispiness and tasted wonderful. The combination of the flavors were just on for me though. I think I'm not a fan of sweet, salty, and savory. It's just not a burger for me. I'm glad my companion enjoyed it. I considered ordering it because they described a garlic aoli sauce for the burger.

We also were quite excited to have poutine in Manitowoc. It was not what we expected. The cheese curds came out cold mixed in. I thought we were going to have made potatoes with fries and gravy, but alas, no mashed potatoes, just fries with gravy drizzled on top. The fries were nice and crispy. The gravy tasted alright. Together it was alright. I just think of poutine differently than presented.

Tried it, Loved it, will do it again! I hade a spicy chicken sandwich crispy, it was very good with just a small bit of spice. Very fresh greens and ingredients on the sandwich. We shared an order of onion ring. You could tell that they made them fresh in house and to order. Hand dipped in a beer batter. You also get a dip with them that makes them even better. My wife got the pouting burger. She said it was very good. We both agree that we will be back. What a great addition to the restaurant scene in Manitowoc.

This is a much improved atmosphere compared to the previous business. Very friendly staff, exciting menu & frosty mugs of tap beer. I mainly eat vegetarian but occasionally eat fish so i am really happy that the menu has something for me. I had the brussel sprouts(teri sprouts?), cheese curds & the walnut mushroom veggie burger. Our first time in and it won't be our last. They offer elevated bar food with quite a few vegan/vegetarian options. The meals were very affordable. They offer a great lunch meal deal which I will try next time. The recently renovated space is really well done and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The brusslin tacos were great and the cashews add great texture. The alta fish taco was delicious. The steak manty philly was good and we paired it with their amazing tater tots. We had good, attentive service and enjoyed the overall atmosphere! Food was both familiar and different - ingredients we knew and loved, done differently than how we would at home.

I really enjoyed the vodka tempura breading on the curds, which was perfectly light and airy! I’m 100% going to crave these in the future!

The burger was a smash-style burger, and the toppings & bun were all done perfectly.

Tacos were all delicious! Favorites were the fish and chicken, but the Brussels sprout one was a nice addition too. Will be craving the fish ones again!

Overall excited to go back and try the other apps and handhelds, along with a drink or two!

Absolutely amazing Burger!

The patty was cooked perfect, the onions grilled just right. The potato bun adds just a note of sweetness to the burger making it feel like a complete dish.

Other facts, they have bendy straws so that's fun.

The napkins are amazing real napkins I can wipe my face with and not feel it get destroyed on my beard.

Great price, great service, great atmosphere. I highly recommend!

Also had the Fried Mushrooms, pictured, they may have been a special. The Mushrooms were fantastic and serving size was large, easily an app for 4 people.
