I've done a lot of traveling and this is one of the places that I always find close to my heart. Growing up in Rhinelander kids Korner Pizza became a staple
But I'm sorry to say this isn't the same kids Korner Pizza
the pizza that I got was not the same as I remembered
Yes it has a thin crust but my pizza had lack of cheese and lack of toppings it was really kind of pathetic
I remember when I was checking out I looked at it and I thought that doesn't look very good it's almost like they were scraping the bottom of the mozzarella😞
And then I got a few poultry mushrooms and some onions and tomatoes and I'm telling you it just didn't look very good at all
I even thought about buying a bag of mozzarella when I was there but I'm like why should I spend an extra $5
Anyway I just chalk this up to maybe there's new owners because this just doesn't look like the same Pizza
That was so terrific so many years ago

When I got it to place I'm staying and I baked it yeah it certainly wasn't anything thrilling
I could have done better with the Frozen pizza 😢
Sorry but I do a lot of reviews and this one is kind of a thumbs down for the pizza

Ordered a deluxe 16 inch pizza, mixed olives, to be picked up cold not baked. When my husband went to pick it up, it had been baked, no onions, no peppers. We live over 45 minutes away from Rhinelander, when he got home it was cold. I'm sure we paid the full price for a deluxe pizza, that should have had the peppers and onions as well, but it wasn't even worth the time nor the money.

One of the better thin crust pizzas in Rhinelander! I love that you can take & bake yourself, or have them cook it for you. Their sandwiches are also very underrated. Try the roast beef & Swiss with au jus & mushrooms.

We were just passing through town and stopped here for lunch, it’s such a neat place and so fun for the kids! There’s a train runs around the restaurant and books you can buy for just $1. We only had the pizza, which was pretty good. They also serve subs but I can’t comment on that.

My daughter & I stopped in here for some 10 inch pizzas for lunch. We loved that the book store was connected for browsing while our pizza baked. The train track right above our heads was a very fun little detail. For just a quarter we got to watch it chug around the store. There was also a chalkboard that my daughter got a kick our of. She put arrows on left for books, right for pizza. I got chicken alfredo and she got a cheese pizza. Both tasted amazing. The crust was yummy and crunchy. Everything appeared to be clean. Very nice establishment. We will be back and recommend it to friends visiting.

Typical Northern WIsconsin cardboard pizza. It’s also a used book store so when you walk in instead of smelling that amazing smell of Italian food you expect when walking through the door of a pizza place you catch a whiff of old books.

Just shrimp pizza WOW.... mushroom, pineapple, cheese n red sauce. I'm 73 and loved it no one else makes it anymore, delicious 😋. Family got super deluxe several meats onions mushrooms peppers n green olives red sauce... They loved it. Everything we've tried has been fresh n good. So I order a 12" sub, cut it in half so one side has Italian and mayo on other side. guess what, we get mayo on ENTIRE sub and get charged $3 extra for 2 6 inches. This is why people don't tip. can't follow directions and overcharge. 😂

Great place to stop on the way up to beautiful Northern Wisconsin or the UP! The pizza looked great, but I got the Hodag sub, named after Rhinelander's very own monster. House dressing on it recommended. Enjoy! Bonus: Bookstore attached in case you forgot that lakeside or fireside vacation novel.

I ordered many times from here and love the food however, last time I ordered a full chicken salad sub. I asked they cut and wrap in separate pieces and would you believe they charged me for two small half subs... no warning of that when I was on the phone. I really won't be ordering food from them anymore because of this. I could see charging an extra dollar for their trouble but it was not two different small subs...

We went here to get the sub "Hodag" which is on special for the month of July. It's a very good sub 👌. While waiting for our sandwiches we looked at the cheese specials and got some smoked string cheese and coops to go with our subs, which were done in a few minutes from when we ordered them. Will go there again. I recommend Kids Korner Pizza.

Edit: Pizza and wings were good. But we really love the subs. Hot or cold subs. The bread is delicious. We always ask for extra meat otherwise it seems a bit skimpy. These subs beat any of the competition. The only think I don't like is the bread is cut in half instead of part way through, so eating these subs can be a bit messy if you don't use the wrapper to wrap around it. We also love their cookies. We have subs and cookies at least once a week.

Nice place in the middle of town with great pizza. We had the Super Deluxe with half black olives and half green olives. What a treat! Plus I had a salad that was huge. Quick service, a nice cooler selection of cheeses with fresh cheese curds, and a neat lil bookstore.

Kind of spartan for the decor of the restaurant. However, there is a used bookstore in the same building. There's even a train set that you can pay $.50 and hear a story as you follow the train around the store. Oddly enough, my food was ready when the story ended

One of the worst pizzas I've ever had! First off, they use pre made crust. It's not even fresh made. Second my Hawaiian pizza was undercooked and the crust was wet and flimsy. The pineapple had no flavor whatsoever! I even let the pizza cool down for 10 minutes and the cheese and topping literally slid right off as I picked up a piece. Furthermore there was only pineapple on half the pizza and the cheese wasn't evenly spread. I will never return to this place

Note that if you come here and park on the west side of the building in the parking lot, there is a used book store that you need to walk through to get to the pizza counter. Great local business!

When we walked in it was a book store we walked further and on the right were refrigerators that you could purchase different kinds of cheeses sausages and a verity of products on the left side was were you could order pizza and what not. I've been loving the food at Kids Korner since I was a kid myself. Nothing has changed. From the little window with the steps up out it so kids can watch their pizzas getting made to the model trains that run on tracks suspended from the ceiling, to Julie's Book Korner in the other half of the building: the awesome nostalgia in this place is hard to match.

The fact that they have the best sandwiches in Rhinelander is a huge bonus too!

Kind of a hidden gem this place, tucked away in the downtown Rhinelander. I've had a few things off the menu and never been disappointed. I decided on the French dip today half size for only about $5 and it was perfect. Everything I expected warm au jus with a nicely toasted French baguette filled with roast beef and melted cheese. Craving satisfied! Keep supporting local businesses like this, they deserve it. Thank you for the good food!
