A friend from work kept saying Kim’s is a go to spot. Took a friend and her daughter to the wrong Kim’s… the service was great as were the drinks. My burger was amazing but the steaks had strange gravy and one came out over cooked. They gave us some complimentary treats and my burger came with a very tasty custard. We ordered sweet and sour chicken as well as sesame seed chicken, and the chicken inside was very hard and dried out in both dishes. The eggrolls were crunchy on the outside, but pretty soggy on the inside, so it made them very tough to eat. The rice was really good And so was the chicken fried rice? So then we had a fortune cookie, which was totally stale. I called and talked to the manager and she had nothing to say about it except that they don’t make the cookies I would not recommend this place.

Kim's is a friendly place with good food. There is a full bar but there were many families there. My wife and I enjoyed the Friday fish and the cheese curds are really good. It seems most everything is home made. You will enjoy it... it is a pub so it can get a bit loud.

We moved out to Oconomowoc last year and Kim’s quickly became one of our favorite dining spots. The food and service is always consistent. Pizza, fish etc… never disappoints. This is our go-to restaurant whether we want to eat in or take out. The crab stuffed shrimp they had on special a few weeks ago was the absolute BEST! I call every Friday to ask what the specials are in hopes it will be those amazing shrimp! Please add these to your regular menu!! 😊

Great space for hosting a gathering like a fantasy football draft in the lower level space. Kim’s accommodated 15 of us for our draft. Easy peasy. We ordered off the menu individually and our server, Em, was attentive, happy and efficient. Kim makes it so easy. No extra fee for using the lower level, and the space is very nice with a bar and TV.

I just left Kim’s and I’m sitting down the street at Boondocks.
I stopped for a beer and sat at the bar for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged by the young man behind the bar.
The place wasn’t that busy (only three other people at the bar) After not being greeted and sitting awhile I followed him with my eyes for the final 5 minutes before I left trying to make eye contact.
Meanwhile at Boondocks I was was greeted twice at the bar within 30 seconds.

For nearly 30 years, our daughters worked hospitality in Lake Country. We supported them, and their restaurants. Last year, their last restaurant closed, and we were set adrift. Last February, Kim ran a lobster ravioli special, and it was stunning. Crab tortellini, grilled shrimp in delicious sauces, and we were hooked. Employees are chipper and bright, and the newly remodeled restaurant is very contemporary. Did I mention wood fire pizza and dining in the garden? It is our new old favorite place for date night.

Our MG car club visited on an early Saturday afternoon. Our server Madison could not have been more hospitable and attentive. She took drink orders for the 12 of us promptly and accurately. Kim's food, most importantly the pizza is AMAZING. We've gone there both to eat as a family and also held our wedding rehearsal dinner on Kim's patio. There service was phenomenal and the food is always so good. We also booked their pizza truck (which is glass so you could see them make the pizza in their own wood fire pizza oven in the truck- SO cool) at our wedding. Their pizza was the talk of the wedding (especially the truffled mushroom pizza) and we still get family and friends that bring up how good it was. Kim was such a joy to work with and so accommodating to our every need. So if your looking for a bite to eat or a great catering partner, Kim and her team are the place to go!

Kim accommodated us perfectly for my daughter’s post wedding day gift opening and brunch! Based on the number of people we had we decided it was best to utilize the lower room and let everybody order individually off the menu. Wow!! I can not say enough praise and huge kudos to our Monday 11/4 night experience at Kim’s- met friends that live in Ocon. We were out for a Monday night dinner - first of all everything we ate was amazing and fantastic including our delicious drinks -our server, Amanda - she was top notch. She was hit with a big bunch of people unexpected on a Monday night, she looked like she was the only server and she was handling it with Grace and professionalism and absolute amazing customer service, but she was, amazing we had to wait a little longer for our food which was completely understandable and we did not complain at all because we were having great conversation with the people that we were with. I just wanted to give you the thumbs up that we thoroughly enjoyed the food, absolutely delicious!!! The vibe, the atmosphere- we haven’t been in since the whole revamp interior - it looks fantastic. Sara our hostess was so sweet and she was working really hard, so kudos to her. Went here last Thursday evening.

Felt the menu was limited and seemed expensive for what you were to get.

Nonetheless, of our group I ordered the pizza bowl for $14. This was to be one of the pizza’s without the crust for one. Upon, payment later that evening, I was charged an addition $18 because it was $2 per each topping item of the pizza version I ordered. I would have been better off ordering the pizza and just scraping off of the crust to eat what I wanted to eat. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich, which was a piece of chicken that was dried out.

We tried Kim’s and can now say we have eaten there. However, being in Oconomowoc, we have pliantly of other more pleasant options.

Outstanding! ⭐️ ⭐️ We had Kim cater my sons wedding. Her dedication and attention to detail was very much noticed and appreciated. We had buffet style with the 2 app/2 entree package with 720 desserts for 115 people and it was lovely, just perfect. We especially had rave reviews on the chicken marsala (order mashed potatoes as a side) , roasted veggies, Mac & cheese, the salted caramel cookies(one relative said he ate 10 😂) and the lemon tarts. The charcuterie board and caprese skewers were a big hit too and her advice on amounts for the appetizers and entrees was spot on. The water service was well worth it and her staff refilled both the carafe and cups many times which was appreciated with the heat from the day.
I will highly recommend her and her business to anyone else in the area looking for a caterer. She was easy to work with and extremely quick to respond when we communicated. 10/10!

Uh oh. Kim’s was one of our go-to’s but I’ afraid they’ve fallen out of favor with us. Since the remodel it is WAY TOO LOUD — you can hear every conversation going on, even if it’s on the other side of the room. And everyone has to shout to hear each other. Plus, the front door slams all the time adding a loud banging noise to an already loud environment. Makes for a terrible dining experience. And service has gone downhill. Waited very long time (for just a pizza). Had to ask for water refill, waited for that too. Then had to ask for our bill twice. And there were several empty tables, they were not exceptionally busy. Sad to take this one of my list of favorites.

My wife and I went to Kim’s for the first time yesterday and sat at the bar and had an early dinner. It was fabulous. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and the bartender even offered to make my wife who is pregnant a yummy mock-tail to help with her nausea. A place that has seen multiple businesses has settled on Kim's and it is a very nice place! The outside could probably do with an update (imo), but the inside was very recently updated nicely!

The menu leaves little for a wish list, offering many options, including a call-out to the keto lifestyle.

The service was very friendly and attentive, offering advice and suggestions to our questions. The kitchen was quick and the food was delicious - wish I took some photos to share.

Our son and his fiancé hired Kim as the caterer for their wedding at Barn at Trinity Peak on 5.26.24. We hosted a brunch for wedding guests at her restaurant the following morning 5.27.24. Kim is high energy and very easy to work with. She listened and created the perfect menu for both events. Appetizers for the cocktail hour were delicious, with interesting fun flavors (not your average charcuterie). The wedding buffet of chicken Marsala (from scratch), brisket carving station, pasta with Kim’s red sauce, pulled pork sliders and veggie/starch options were top notch. The dessert table was amazing too. It was not an easy event to cater during a terrible thunderstorm filled day! Kim was so kind to come (in the rain) to reposition a catering tent outside the venue windows to ensure our wedding photos were perfect. Her staff at the wedding were high energy, engaging, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about the amazing food! The following morning, we went to the restaurant for a brunch buffet - her scrambled eggs are out of this world, highly recommend the waffles and house made croissants too. Since, the restaurant was open Monday, we were in the lower room and I had estimated 50 - we end up with 54 and it was a bit crowded with a buffet line to maneuver around - but the food made up for that and our slight wait for fresh coffee. Did I mention Kim worked the entire party, solo?! Always with a smile and ready to accommodate any request we threw at her. Can’t wait to come back and dine off the menu! Interesting options here. 4 friends went for dinner on a Wednesday night. We ate inside and the dining area was nice and was mostly empty. But that is because on Wednesday nights it is Woodfire Wednesdays, with live music and a special menu, all outside on the patio. I will address this later.
Our meals were quite satisfying; the large Fried Chicken dinner was really good; the Cranberry Walnut Salad was large and good; and the Pulled Pork Nachos were good but there was very little melted cheese and after the meat was gone there were lots of chips left. However, the 1/2 size serving was larger than expected. These were all tasty and the presentation was good. We also ordered the Bourbon Glazed Meatballs which were incredibly good. The only thing that surprised us was the small drink servings; the wines and Cosmo were the smallest we can remember ever being served. The Coke was a large plastic glass. These were disappointing.
The server was outside the entrance side of the restaurant when we parked. Unfortunately, she was smoking and the aroma was not welcome as we arrived to eat. She was then our indoor server and was not very invested in us or her service. We actually felt she was bored, and she did not bring anything friendly to the experience. When we left she was back outside smoking again. I guess we may have interrupted her break.
After we finished we took a walk outside to see the Woodfire Wednesday offering. The live music was a single guitarist/singer who was really entertaining. The pizza oven was hot and serving some really good-looking pizzas, and the patio was almost full. Reservations are suggested as this event is every Wednesday through August. We may come back for this but the music may make conversations a bit challenging.
All in all the evening was fine, the food very good, but the overall experience will not draw us back. It is a shame how a less-than-welcoming server can set an unwelcome tone. But the young busser was very nice and we tipped him personally.

We had to book a special 'Life Celebration' dinner after my father-in-laws memorial. It was the Holy week of Easter; family were flying in. We were on a tight schedule. I messaged Kim's thru FB, on a day that they were closed. Surprisingly, I received a call back, shortly after my reaching out to her. What a delight. We planned open bar & letting guests order off the menu. She told me 'Not to worry, I'll handle everything and I'll be there to take care of you".
She did not disappoint! The pub was beautiful! The service was top notch. The food was incredible! Every guest raved about their order. From assorted tacos, to pub burgers, gourmet pizzas, apps that were rich and delish!
We had invited the Vets/Honor Guard who gave the 21 gun salute. We promised them geat food and drinks. But they didn't want to impose and went to a local bar a few blocks away. I asked Kim if she delivers, she replied 'No, but we will for you'. Kim and Kimberly delivered EIGHT assorted large gourmet pizzas to the Veterans that assisted at the memorial, so that we could thank them. My husband and I are so thankful from the bottom of our hearts for such wonderful care from each of the team members. The Chefs are talented and are definitely responsible for any weight gain after that visit. 😉.
One of the Vets popped in to thank us for the pizzas, it was a huge hit and the employees and patrons of the competing bar... couldn't decide which pizza was best. I asked Kim if she had time to fix up a to-go bag of desserts for the Vets to take back to the VFW. She was like a fairy god-mother. Every wish and need for taking a heart-breaking day and turning it into a celebration, was done by the team at Kim's. If you have a celebration and need a lovely place to host it, this is the place!
And, I can't forget to share, they have incredible ice-cream drinks! We ordered a round of the salted Carmel bourbon ice-cream drinks, pure perfection! Mine was stolen by our 92 year old aunt, she thought it was divine!
Don't let the word 'Pub', in the name scare you, the food is mouthwatering, elegantly served, priced right...pure perfection!!

My husband picked up one of Kim’s so called gourmet pizzas this afternoon. We were very disappointed. The first thing I noticed was that the sauce, what there was of it didn’t entirely cover crust. The extra toppings we ordered and paid for were scant. To top off or should I say bottom out our gourmet pizza experience, THE CRUST WAS BURNT!!! I’m really sorry things didn’t work out better. Kim catered multi-course Northern Italian Dinner with wine pairings for a Bridal Shower at our home. It was a sit-down dinner for 30 people. She and her two staff members were smiling and fabulous. Hands down, the worst restaurant experience of the year. I get being short staffed, but no excuse for what happened tonight despite the owner's attempt to do so. Took a while (10-15 minutes?) before the waitress even came to our table. We told the young lady not to worry about it. We get it sometimes it happens. Placed orders for drinks, an appetizer (garlic asiago dip), and our meals. Took a little bit longer and a glass of beer for my son and my 4-beer flight arrived (without the homemade chips that were included on the menu). Another couple of minutes later, my wife's sangria is brought over.

OK.........now the almost 50 minute wait. Two soups arrive (still no chips or the appetizer). A couple of minutes later, my wife's side salad is delivered. Didn't have a chance to finish the soup (seemed like the French onion soup was watered down to make it stretch), and the waitress shows up with two dinner plates, one we had ordered and one that we had not. She takes one back and leaves the other at the table. (We think she brought the order to the wrong table and left one meal that matched.) After waiting another 5 minutes, the promised chips and appetizer finally arrive - still no other meals and mine is sitting there as I hoped to eat with the rest of my family. The rest of the group encourages me to eat while the food is still warm.

I'm completely done when two more meals are delivered 24 minutes after mine (I did time it). And, the waitress now tells us they are out of the lasagna my wife ordered. So an hour and a half after ordering, one meal already eaten, she asks if my wife would like to order something else. Nope. The salmon salad that my daughter in law ordered (because she has really enjoyed it when she had ordered in the past) had charred salmon, wilted greens, and was horribly overdressed.

The owner eventually did come out of the kitchen where she was doing the cooking and apologized and said they would make things right on the bill. Waitress brings the check, and tells us that we would be charged for the lasagna (you think) or the salmon salad and the drinks (a glass of beer, a 4-beer flight, and a glass of sangria) would be comped. Even so, there on the bill is the charge for the beer.

Just an unlucky night for us? Don't think so. Another table encouraged a newly seated table between us to leave as they were also waiting a loooong time for their food. We also watched as other potential patrons left the restaurant after waiting to be seated and no one even came to greet them since the servers and hostess were all in the kitchen,

I see lots of other positive reviews on google for Kim's and for my son and daughter in law it was not their first visit here. For my wife and I, it was our first and last. There are too many good dining options in Oconomowoc to risk having another experience like that.

Stopped for a late lunch today. Greeted by Jim bartender who was so welcoming and gave us great service! We had salmon salad and short rib sandwich- both delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu - everything sounded so delicious. The pizzas looked delicious!

This is the best place for no matter what you are in the mood for! Great pizza, fresh salad, awesome apps and wings. We are always met with a smile and have wonderful service. We have had Kim cater lunch to our business twice and had our Christmas party there last year. Thank you to Kim for going above and beyond and to all of your staff. We especially appreciate Emily and Jenna!

This place was so good!! Kimberly, the bartender made me a special drink because I couldn’t figure out what I was in the mood for. The drink was delicious! My husband and I both ordered hamburgers and they were so juicy and just melted in your mouth. The conversation was fantastic. The ambience was nice. We will definitely be returning.

My wife and I had the Grilled Salmon Salad
Grilled salmon filet served atop a bed of mixed greens, crisp apple, red onion, tomato and goat cheese tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette. Food was awesome!, I’m not usually a salad person but the flavors and mix are great and the salmon was done perfectly. Try it YOU will be impressed !

My family and I went there tonight for dinner and everything was excellent! From the wait time, to the friendly service, to the drinks and the amazing food! She has a great menu and is kid friendly which we love! I had the chicken Margherita pasta, my husband had the perch fish fry, my one son had chicken wings and the other had their kid pepperoni pizza. We all finished every last bite that doesn’t happen often with picky eaters. Thank you Kim!

We had our company holiday party this last weekend at Kim's. This is was hands down the best experience we have had in our 10 years doing company functions. The beef tenderloin filet was hand carved and tender. The chicken Alfredo was rich and delightful. The food was amazing. The room we were in was private and comfortable. Kim herself took care of our group. She was prompt, friendly and fun to be around. Overall this was a wonderful experience and my staff is still talking about it and telling me how fun it was. We already booked our next holiday party for December. There's no question we want to go back for another great experience. Thank you for such a great night Kim!

So I had the special of deep fried chicken dinner with my fiance, the rolls were great , mashpotatos and gravy with slaw were also Great! But the chicken let me tell you for a moment it took me back to my grandfather's cooking! Thank you so much for great dinner and ice cream. Only thing that was a little awkward was the shift change other then that it was a great experience for my first time. Oh almost forgot the French onion soup delicious just next time a little more onions please. Can't wait to come back next time.

Oh. My. Gosh. The beers on tap are delightful and the chips that come with the flight? Absolutely to die for. We had the Popeye, Miss Piggy, and BBQ chicken pizzas and they were all incredible! Kim's Gourmet pub was an incredible vendor to work with as they catered our wedding in June of 2022. The guests couldn't say enough about how delicious the food was, and we/they loved that Kim's team served the food to the guests up at the buffet! All of the food was incredible, and our favorite was the shrimp alfredo! Kim made it easy to work with her and stress free on the day of the wedding! Thank you Kim!

I'm local and we've tried Kim's 3x now including just tonight. Granted for a simple fish fry only but all 3x times the fish was served sub par, either wet and mushy,greasy, or this time 3 pieces of shoe leather thin and dry fried Cod. French fries were room temp. We were relatively early at 5pm. I also had made mention nicely that we were giving them another shot after 2 other "experiences" and our waitress assured us they would do their best. A few points for great tartar sauce,best I've had, and cole slaw was very good. Haven't tried the pizza but probably won't now. Too many good places in Lake country.

We have some friends who live in Illinois, sadly there’s no Kim’s there :(. They claimed that the best pizza ever to exist was in a place near them. We said, “no, it’s Kim’s” so naturally as the only way to solve the argument we ordered some Kim’s pizza and when they had their first bite they burst into grins and ate almost one whole pizza each. now one reason they visit us is just to get the pizza! We came in with our 2 yr/o last night for pizza. First, getting pizza with a toddler is always a challenge because good pizza takes time. Our waitress did a great job of taking care of, taking our order and appetizer/salad came out really quickly. The cheese curds are amazing. Their house salad isn't just iceberg/tomato/cheese. It's packed with fresh greens and their homemade house dressing is phenomenal. The pizza was better than we anticipated, and definitely the best pizza around. Their homemade sauce and homemade sausage, on the hand rolled dough, finished in the brick oven makes for a perfect pie. Excellent service, food was perfect and the atmosphere is great for both families and friends having a session.

Ended up at Kim's by accident. headed somewhere else but stopped here. one of the best change of plans I have had. Greeted and seated right away. sat in the bar area which gave me a bit of concern. We hired Kim to cater our laid back, lake house rehearsal dinner and we cannot recommend her enough!! Having the oven on the premises was so exciting, and the food was INSANE. Everyone was absolutely raving about it. We did 5 different kinds of pizza, couscous with veggies, brie and cheese bites, and caesar salad. It was perfect. And Kim and her husband are LOVELY!
