Ordered a pho. Hot overall but if you’re looking for a good tasting pho, here wouldn’t be the best place. The broth is missing this particular flavor & that would be star anise, cinnamon, and cloves. I’ve tried other pho spots and this would be my first time tasting a mediocre one. Respectfully. Only had 1 lime, 1 jalapeño slice and a ton of basil leaves when they’re supposed to be mint leaves. I wouldn’t waste time eating here again but it has a clean environment though!

Wonton soup and pork egg rolls.
Wonton soup was great, big portions, filling, good broth, chili with it was just oil, I prefer one with paste but still good. Eggrolls were ok, very flaky which was nice but the filling wasnt anything special, not bad tho. They do have beef egg rolls which I want to try next. Would order from here again.

We have been coming here since they opened and for sure this is the best Chinese food around. I always oder cashew chicken. It is so delicious! My husband orders sweet and sour pork which he loves and will not get anywhere else.The crab rangoon is my favorite. Their egg rolls are huge and yummy. For a small primarily take out restaurant, this place was great. The food was amazing. I had a Large Pork Fried rice and Pork Lo-mein. My wife had the sweet & sour combination Pork-Chucken-shrimp platter. We added an appetizer of crab rangoons (6).

We were amazed and the intense flavor and freshness in all of the food. Not to mention the portion sizes for Large and small are still big-huge. When we finished eating, we had enough left over to bring home and it lasted the next 3 lunches. All 3 days, we dribbled a little bit of water on the rice and lo-mein and heated in the microwave for around a min and it was as good as the first day.

****update. We went there today to pickup an online order of Sweet & Sour Chicken with Chicken Fried Rice. It was the dinner meal special. My wife chose a different dinner special option. My "Chicken Fried Rice" ended up with 3 (only found 2 at first) very small (less than dime size) pieces of chicken. I called the restaraunt and at first was told I didn't order the Chicken Fried rice but then was told I ordered the combo and they were sorry but they just scoop the rice out of the container and do not know how much Chicken is in the scoop. Not really a good response since had I ordered a full size order would I have gotten more, less or the same amount? It was disappointing to say the least. We do not eat out much and Asian food even less and have always loved thos store.****

i had passed by this place a few times and was craving a bowl of Pho. i stopped in for a bowl of the Beef Brisket Pho and some Crab Rangoons; everything was perfect! the staff was friendly and pleasant, the crab rangoons were creamy and tasty and the Pho was fulfilling! the broth was fresh and crisp with the cilantro yet a nice warm spice was present with every sip. the noodles were silky smooth! in my opinion a little hidden gem in local delavan cuisine, no need to travel to the larger cities for a quality bowl of Pho!

I just picked up carry out from Kings Bowl for the second time, and I am thrilled to have found a place near me preparing Asian food with fresh ingredients. The first time I ordered, I did not give any directions as to how I wanted my food prepared. I could tell everything was fresh, but the second time I ordered, I specifically requested a high-level of spicy heat, and the flavors exploded! The dishes have a lot of fresh veggies, which I love. It is a testament to how fresh their ingredients are that two days later the carryout food is even more delicious! They are very efficient in the restaurant, everything appears very clean. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Food is generally very good for your buck, however the general tso was amazing when you first opened and now it's more like sweet and sour chicken cheap flavor, even asking for more spicy...literally craved it after my first try, now I don't order it at all after the 4th try, so disappointed in that dish.
And what's with the "super high upcharge for a delivery meal", HOLY SMOKES per item at least 3.00 to 7.00 more then original menu prices!!! HOLY WOW!!! Wasn't feeling good and wanted Chinese delivery, ...that price jump is hosiery to your loyal customers. And to just order on line a dollar fee, why? Keep it fair and the town of Delavan would much more appreciate your restaurant, other restaurants don't do this. If someone can comment how to upload photos I'd show you the price difference one example item SE1 shrimp with broccoli 19.95/large if delivered menu price SE1 shrimp and broccoli 12.99/large wow!

Update 10-2-24, general tso dish is back at the heat it should be and that amazing goodness crunch...extremely pleased with my take out dinner tonight great job!!!!

Food is ok - but the service is not so great. We ordered take out this evening and the woman at the register aggressively shook the tip jar and shoved it toward me. While I do usually tip on takeouts... I almost did not tonight. It was such an incredibly rude gesture from her. Tips are not guaranteed and shaking a plastic tip jar at customers certainly won't get far.

Delicious pho! Great service and it’s awesome to support a local business. Pork fried rice is delicious and you definitely want to get chili oil if you like heat on your pho. The deserts and milk tea are also delicious! Was sad to move out of Delavan because we really enjoyed eating at this place.

I had basically all but given up on eating out in this area. We are foodies through and through, and I love eating a variety of highly flavored international types of food.
After several expensive learning experiences we stopped going out to eat all together.
My daughter wanted Asian food before leaving for school, and I had tried some samples of small plates at a taste of delevan (chamber meeting) last year, and figured we should give this place a try.
EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD.
They have Vietnamese and Mongolian dishes and Pho with fresh ingredients kept separate 👏👏👏

Large servings!

You can tell they care about the food they are making and preparing, despite the fact we did take out.

Asked for White Rice upon ordering. Got my order and got Chicken fried rice,my Wife doesn't like Chicken Fried Rice,(that was the reason for ordering White Rice) went to the counter and brought it to their attention! She informed me that they were going to have to charge me! I told her that I specifically ordered White Rice but WHATEVER!! I was not happy and went away from the counter in a huff and other customers knew I was not happy!! Needless to say she finally did bring me out White Rice and didn't charge me!! I recently visited Kings Bowl Chinese restaurant and, although the interior appeared very clean, I was disappointed with the overall quality of the food. The dishes were quite generic, and the pictures on the menu did not accurately represent what was served.

I ordered the beef skewers, expecting a flavorful Chinese dish, but they tasted more like shaved beef seasoned with Lawry's seasoning salt, lacking any authentic Chinese flavor. I would not order these again.

The most disappointing item was the chicken fried rice. It looked nothing like the picture on the menu and resembled a cheap, frozen version of fried rice. It was inedible and not worth the cost.

Additionally, the trio fried sweet and sour dish was not very good either. It had a lot of fried components, but the meat quality did not justify the price.

I spent close to $30, which now seems very unreasonable due to the quality of the food. I would expect to pay at least around the ballpark of $15. This just doesn't seem reasonable. Based on this experience, I probably won't be returning to Kings Bowl Chinese restaurant.

I called to ask what I got a was told that’s our chicken looks no where near close to what they have posted for pictures it tasted absolutely disgusting and nothing like bourbon chicken. When Kings Bowl 1st opened in Delavan, we loved it. Food & prices were great. Not anymore. Tonight I had S&S chicken (which I'dget often)... or rather, S&S dough balls! I literally dissected them finding tiny, if any, chicken in all of them!

Great find in a small town with big town flavors. We came for the Phó and it passed with flying colors, she got the chicken and I got the Kings special. Both were awesome and very authentic. We have eaten Phó across the country and their Phó stands with the best of them. So glad we don’t have to drive an hour to get it anymore. Highly recommend this place and if the rest of the menu is this good I’m sure nobody will be disappointed.

Easy to get to, plenty parking space. The place isn't huge inside but still roomy. Seemed pretty busy as a "to go/ pick up place".

One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been! Unlike other Chinese or Asian restaurants, their tastes are not too thick and I couldn’t stop eating it. It’s just like home-made meal. Prices are still affordable. They have so many options of main ingredients such as veggie, pork, beef or shrimp, so even if you have any dietary restrictions, you can still find food you can have!

I don't write reviews often but wanted to for King's bowl. Food has been great every single time. Food is ready fast. The service is fantastic. I went in to pick up my order and the weather was ugly. They took great care in the packaging of my food and insisted that I go ahead and pull up my car and they would bring it to my car so I wouldn't have to walk with it. How nice is that!?

The noodles for the lo mein were mushy & had very little shrimp, the egg rolls have 1 shrimp In them & taste mostly of carrots, the rice was also not cooked properly & they only give you a small amount. First time ordering here this weekend and i will say the food was great. My general tsos chicken was absolutely delicious. But don't tell me its gonna be 20 minutes for a pickup of 3 dinners and have it actually take 45 minutes. Thats BS, we waited more then 20 minutes for our food at the restaurant after we already waited the first 20 minutes. Also the redhead lady working the front counter had the absolute worst attitude and presence about her, not a good first look for the business.
