What an adorable place! We stumbled on this when we were heading out of town leaving Sister Bay. We came for breakfast and the menu is limited at first glance. However, the breakfast burrito was honestly the best I have had! Paired with the potato rings (which are like tater tots shaped like a thick onion ring) this was a delicious meal! My companion had a slice of the sour cream coffee cake, which they said was moist and good but lacked "flavor". However, the bakery cases they have there look divine! They have cakes, pastries, coffee cakes, danishes, muffins & more. We ordered a slice of cheesecake to go which was decent but not the flavor we asked for. We were long gone before we discovered the mixup! The staff was so sweet and the drinks were good. My seasonal coffee was exceptional. The building is rusticly modern. It was so cute! Next time we are up in DC I would go back, no question, and would get the exact same meal - it was that good. But I bet their avocado toast, breakfast sandwich or lox & bagels are yummy too! I also look forward to trying more bakery items. It was very hard to choose only one!

I had a grill cheese with kettle chips and raspberry tea. The chips were good, the tea was okay, the grilled cheese was not grilled, the cheese wasn't melted and the spices were awful. My wife had 1/2 chicken salad sandwiche and a cup of chicken noodle soup, along with raspberry tea. Both were awful. Price including tax $42.58.

First time at Klaud’s Kitchen and the experience was just okay. Given the top-rated reviews, thought I’d give it a try. Had high expectations going in. I ordered two coffee beverages, but unfortunately, both orders were made incorrectly by the staff. I ordered the “Baby Yoda Matcha,” The drink should’ve been green in color but came out all white. It came way too much milky and hardly any matcha flavor. For the second drink, I specifically requested oat milk, but it was made with whole milk instead by the gentleman at the front with the mustache and accent. Thank goodness there was not a dairy allergy because that could’ve been a disaster. On this visit, it was preference only. On the bright side, the quiche was delicious, but overall, the drink experience really missed the mark.

We have come here a few times and earlier in the summer we had amazing experiences. However later in the summer this year that service has decreased. Some of the staff doesn’t understand what you’re asking so when you order they charge and serve you for the wrong thing. It is also extremely overpriced, and while I understand things are getting more expensive you can purchase the same things for 4 or 5 dollars cheaper from any other coffee shop. Specifically, I recently went and ordered the 24oz cherry blossom matcha which was $9.50, and the cup came half full. The other half? Was foam. which quickly evaporated into the drink and revealed the drink was only maybe 45% full. When i asked employees they said “they layer foam”. Even so, they should not be charging 9.50 for what was maybe an 11oz drink.

Best desserts and selection!! Highly recommend stopping here! They also have other food sandwiches and we tried their pizza which was good too! Service was very friendly! We stopped our first time on Tuesday and we were back by Thursday for more desserts!! Going to be on my favorites list for a while.

We fell for the hype and good reviews - buyer beware. I think I might not understand the concept, but the TV menus and to-go area make this look and feel like a museum food court; while the bakery is trying to be much fancier than that.

The food was slow to be served, despite there being hardly anyone there, and the limited menu was made worse when the either didn’t have fries or their fryer was down. Either way, all our food was extremely greasy and while presented well, lacked seasoning and flavor.

Maybe breakfast is much better, but they stop serving it at 11am, so at 11:15 we had no choice but their paltry lunch options or premade salad.

It’s also very dimly lit and delicious extremely cold, but they have a patio so that isn’t too big of an issue. Hoping this was just a one-off bad experience.

Tried this place last year a couple of times and it’s just as good this year. The Thai chicken wrap is Yum Yum Yum. Husband gets the chicken salad on croissant. An infinite glass case of desserts. This would be a good place to come get an array of desserts if you’re having a dinner party or gathering or smorgasbord of your own at home. :-) Plenty of easy parking. usually my family and i get wild tomato when we are in door county. however, we’ve recently not enjoyed it as much, and wanted to try a new pizza place. tried klaud’s and it was the new favorite all around. price was decent considering we will get two meals for 3 out of our one pizza. the pizza was very fresh and tasted like *real pizza.* not just quick takeout. my only complaint would be that the crust is a bit plain, as i wish it had like a garlic butter or other flavor on it. we also got a slice of cheesecake, which was $8. the price wasn’t terrible as we also split that 3 ways with everyone being full afterwards. overall, we will be returning next summer as this is our new favorite pizza place.

I love coffee shops and breakfast, and I'm just gonna say it. I don't get the hype. At 4.8 stars I really thought, wow it's gonna be good. My son's doughnut must have been fresh from the freezer, still glistening and very cold. Danish was underwhelming. Actual food was ok, but the lowest quality bacon and squished croissant like bread product. Service was great and everything was very clean (although oddly chilly for a cool morning). Coffee taste was fine, but came at a chuggable temp (if you know you know). Overall for the price of warrants 2 stars.

Excellent food! I devoured it and didn't even get a picture. We had the brisket sandwich and fish basket. The fish was like I used to enjoy as a child fresh off the lake with super light breading. The desert and sweets selection is to die for. Plenty of seating indoor and out so if you want to grab a delicious breakfast or lunch without the craziness of the area a few minutes north, stop here. You wont be disappointed.

Trust me....GO HERE FOR BREAKFAST! We spent 3 days in Door County. On day #2 we had Klaud's Kitchen for breakfast and it was AMAZING!!! I had the breakfast burrito and the flavors were incredible. The salsa was delicious! My husband had the Coutry Fried Steak sandwich and loved it. He also loved his iced mocha. We brought some desserts home and they were yummy too! The place is adorable and the details in the decor are so nice! It was so good we went back again the next day. Do not skip this place, it is way too good to pass up. Went to door county for my birthday with my wife, kid, and 2 friends. As a cheesecake fanatic that's what I decided on for my birthday cake, as the only people who seemed to make cheesecake for purchase not at a dinner for purchase we found this place. We purchased 6 pieces and a baby cake for my son. Every piece was pulled out of a display case, and boxed. After getting back to our hotel, and eating the cake, quickly realized they were all rancid and had been left in an UNREFRIDGERATED display case, probably all day from the tase. My new York slice tasted like rancid milk everywhere accept the very center. All pieces tasted like expired dairy and 3 of us including my 1.5 year old son were throwing up the next day. I will never recommend or go here again.

Absolutely love this place. We went back three times which is three times as many places that we visited the whole week we stayed in Sister Bay. We would have been back more, but for some reason, we didn’t realize it was open till late in the evening, we thought it was just a breakfast and lunch place. The food was spectacular. The lox on the bagel that we had was so velvety and perfect vs. what we normally get at Costco or anywhere else. The pizza was absolutely spectacular. The brisket sandwich was perfect. The burger was absolutely fabulous! Potato salad was excellent. The dessert selection is unlike any other. Why this place doesn’t have a line out the door is beyond me. DIVINE. I love finding a high quality breakfast spot when I’m on vacation and this was THE place. Incredible food, like really…really incredible. Service was top notch, super friendly people! Wish we had time to come back and try the pizza, but next time! Everyone in our group was so happy with everything we got. 10/10

I consider myself a foodie and have been to the most incredible food venues around the country. Klaud's was easily one of the favorite breakfasts I have ever had. The breakfast burrito was *kiss* amazing. The star was the campfire mocha. Admittedly I have a sugar tooth so I like my mochas sweet. This one was PERFECT. The best I ever had.

The space and seating is beautiful and the service is friendly. For the quality of the food, the prices are reasonable (but not cheap). Worth every penny, in my opinion.

Door county is known for its food and wine venues. Klaud's is by far my favorite place to eat in Door county. Oh, and pick up some pastries before you go! I got a piece of carrot cake and lemon shortcake. Mmmmmm

I went to this store last week and purchased a big carrot cake cupcake. And a few other little things, they were all delicious in the carrot cake melted in your mouth. This morning I went up there and got me a coffee which was absolutely delicious. I think it was called the campfire but I seen the carrot cake again even though it looks smaller. I went ahead and got it. And when I get back home, I tasted it and it was so nasty. It was close to tasting like the cupcake. I had gotten there last week. And it was twice as small as the cupcake that I got there last week. So when they have the big carrot cupcakes, those are delicious, the smaller ones are terrible.

Great place for casual dining. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Love the mushroom and the spinach quiches. The cherry pie had great texture and the crust was very good. The brisket sandwich was the highlight of the meal with a great barbeque sauce that was thick and more like a jam than a sauce. Highly recommend!!

Loved this place. The decor is beautiful, the pastry selection amazing, breakfast sandwich and lox & bagel delicious, and prices are reasonable. On a different evening we did pizza carry out and it was excellent. They have beer and wine too.

Very disappointed that they took sub sandwiches off the menu. It was one of the reasonably priced things you could get in door county for lunch. Walked out because that was what I came in for! On another note their seating is very hard and uncomfortable and their couch seating is too low to the table. Their food has always been good but removing the subs reduced my review on the food!

I went in today to ask for some help with a gender reveal dessert for my husband and I and the ladies working went above and beyond throwing in little extras for us as a surprise. It was so simple but made all the difference to be so caring and the desserts were delicious!! We will definitely be coming to them for all future dessert needs! Coffee is also amazing ❤️

If you are a regular, and know exactly what you want, you will have a good experience. If you are new to the place and unfamiliar with the menu, the girl at the counter will be very unfriendly. Unfriendly is putting it nicely. We were very turned off and have crossed this place off our list.

My husband and I came to town on vacation and stopped here for a snack and it was perfect!! The tiramisu cake was SO GOOD. I am not able to handle caffeine, but wanted a hot drink since it was chilly outside and they worked with me and made me a DELICIOUS steamer. Already planning to go back tomorrow for another drink and treat. Service was great and food was even better!

We stopped in for desserts and coffee. They had a good variety of pastries. Ex. cupcakes, blondie bars, cannoli, tiramisu, cake slices, etc. The prices were fair. I noticed they also have pizza and sandwiches for sale. The dining area is small and can probably seat up to 12ppl. The odd thing is that they also sell cigarettes and vaping supplies. That was weird.

Stopped in a new bakery near Sister Bay called Klaud's Kitchen.
WONDERFUL COOKIES!
The muffins are huge and the coffee actually tasted like it had coffee in it, even though we ordered multi-flavored mochas.
A young couple running the place and giving it a go in Door County. HAVE to support that.
What aldo impressed us was that the lady owner recommended a different bakery for bread, even though that was her competition.

Last month we stopped by for bagels and lox. It was excellent. Worthy of a NYC deli. Tonight we tried the pizza. Thin crust pesto/chicken. It was, hands down, the best pizza we have had in the Door over the past 40 years. Crust, pesto, ingredients all top notch and freah. Great staff as well. So happy to be staying about 40 yards away from this gem.

Klaud’s is an unexpected oasis in Sister Bay. We had the homemade sandwiches and pizza, both were amazing! The staff was so welcoming as well. Would definitely recommend you go off the beaten path a bit and stop in! Try the chicken salad sandwich!
